It has been about 2 months since I dyed my hair last so it was pretty washed out. When she dyed my hair the blue became green and my roots became yellow and she was going to let me leave like that until the owner came over and told her to bleach it again. The second bleach came out a little better the blue turned pastel but my roots were still yellow. I understand the blue could not come out but yellow hair cmon??? I have bleached my hair in the past from much darker colors and never have I had to have yellow hair even after two bleaches. She also charged me 120 dollars when she said it was only going to be 90 dollars before we started. Not once was I informed it was going to be more while I was getting my hair done so i was very surprised at the cost at the end, considering I didn't even get what I wanted with my hair and had yellow roots instead of small brown roots like I asked for, she bleached it to the scalp, so when I said I wanted brown roots she must have got lost in translation. I hate when hair dressers just dont do what you want and they do what they want. Now I have yellow hair and do not want to go back there she over charged me and gave me horrible results.

I've had my hair lightened before and it would get terrible breakage. The last time I attempted to go blonde I had to chop off 8 inches!!! Anyway Breeana took on the challenge like a boss! She got it done in 2 sessions. During the first session she lifted my hair color like 6-7 levels--and there was ZERO breakage. It was wizardry! I also had her cut my hair into a cute lob with bangs that day. The next session she lightened me to a level 10 white blonde and then went on to painting/toning my hair into different shades to get this super cool ombre pic (reference photos). She did it this way because I won't be able to see her again until the end of this year and she wanted to ensure it grows out nicely, in the least ratchet way possible. Like the other one star review said- don't do it. Her technique does not pull blonde hair well- and…read moreI have details... (Why did I go to her in the first place? I'm new to SLC and didn't have a hair stylist.) First of all, I have a dirty blond/brassy natural hair color... i.e. EASY to pull blonde because it's already very light overall. I have NEVER had an issue and I've dyed my hair as blonde as Paris Hilton before and have dyed my hair for 15+ years with many sytlists. I waited to go to a different stylist to confirm if it was my hair or Kassi before I posted anything. Turns out, it was Kassi and I know exactly what she's doing wrong. And a $500 lesson (yea, ouch). I went to Kassi twice. The first time she was working on someone else first and she pulled a VERY orange blonde. This made me nervous but I reasoned with myself 'well that lady had very dark hair'. So I went through with the appointment (mistake 1) and she wasn't able to pull my hair blonde (more like a semi-brassy color that you could barely see). I went back a second time just figuring that she needed to get to know me and my hair (my second costly mistake). My hair literally looked worse than when I arrived. I was so shocked and unhappy that I said my hair looks bad- there is no blonde and you're making it more cooper. She was even perplexed and AGREED and could not figure out why my hair didn't pull blonde (yet still charged me the entire cost of the appointment)... "yea, this isn't the color I was expecting either. Maybe it's because of your Brazilian Blowout, I had the same issue with another lady. We could try again at another appointment". So you want me to pay you another $250 to "try"? What? Also, I've been getting Brazilian Blowouts for over a decade and never encountered this issue (and haven't gotten one in over a year which is long for me) so I thought geez, maybe she's right because my hair is soo easy to pull blonde and it's not working. So I made an appointment with a different stylist after asking around (wish I did this initially). This new stylist literally had NO PROBLEM pulling my hair a super light pretty blonde. It was so easy she actually toned it darker so it'd mix well with the rest of my hair that she was dyeing (to correct Kassi's work). I was telling her the issues I was having with Kassi and she was able to point out (before she even touched my hair) what Kassi was doing wrong: 1. She uses Saran Wrap instead of foil. Foil keeps your hair moist and warm, thus allowing it to process. 2. Kassi's dye is thick and almost clay-like. It quickly dries on your hair under the Saran Wrap and your hair becomes this very dry stiff thing and the dye is literally flaking off. The new stylist explained to me that when the air hits the dye and it dries that like, it's no longer processing your hair. So Kassi was literally not processing my hair- what I paid her $500 to do. So I sent her a text (you're welcome) giving her the information for WHY my hair wasn't pulling blonde (this is really basic technique and it's concerning she doesn't know it, especially considering my new stylist pin pointed this before she even touched my hair). I also told her I waited until I went to a new stylist before I said anything to be sure it wasn't my hair and it was actually her technique. She might want to tell her other client whom she also blamed the Brazilian Blowout on that it's not that at all. I asked her if she would consider refunding part of the service since she wasn't actually processing my hair (and now I'm paying someone else to cover what she did). She never responded. Classy. So anyways, it was a $500 lesson, but hopefully Kassi honestly listens to my text and goes back to same basic 101 dye classes. I'm still shocked at the struggle. LOL. I've included a picture of my hair after the SECOND visit to Kassi so you can see how truly horrible of a job she did (remember, I was going for BLONDE). It's honestly shocking. The only good thing to come out of this is I found a REALLY good stylist that is LESS expensive than Kassi. I have her contact info if you're looking for a hairstylist like I was and don't want to end up like I did!

She took the time BEFORE my appointment to know what I wanted, liked, dislikes, she even wanted examples to show her. Wow...she actually cared even before I met her in person! 3. To put it briefly, my hair looked fine but I felt sick and manipulated when it was done…read more My balayage was much more expensive than I was expecting based on the prices on the website (and yes I understand they add a + at the end, but it would be nice if they'd tell you when it's gone up another $50-100 based on your hair. Better yet, tell me before you start that it's gonna be an extra $50-100. And my hair isn't crazy long or anything to account for a huge up-charge). Anyway, when it was done I had to do a slow-motion video which (as an introvert) felt embarrassing and unwelcome. I didn't feel like I could say no, though. And then I was told "you shouldn't spend all this money on your hair and not get the right shampoo so you better get this shampoo" but how much $$$ is it? Couldn't be that much, right? The bottles are tiny and there was no price on them. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when they try to sell you products at the salon and make you feel like you're poor and gross if you don't. So I left spending nearly twice what I'd expected to and feeling bad about myself because I was told by the stylist that I don't get my hair done "often enough" and it was in "bad shape". Is this the way they justify charging more money? Act like your hair is messed up and they fixed it for you? Honestly my hair had a few split ends but no other issues. Besides, for some of us, hair isn't life or our career. Hair is just one small thing we deal with and try to take care of when we have time and money to. This was two years ago and I'm just posting this review now because I finally got the courage up to get another balayage done at another salon that I've been going to ever since. It was such a positive experience, it reminded me of how sad I felt after leaving Fusions and having to explain to my husband how the price basically doubled from what I told him it would be. So even though Fusions is geographically the closest salon to me, I will continue to drive well out of my way to go elsewhere. Bummer.

Kim is the owner of this salon and she did my hair extensions and they were AWFUL!!! I had never…read morehad hair extensions before so I did not know any better the first time around. Kim claims to be a professional at this but she has no idea what she's doing and she does a really really bad job. Kim also lied to me multiple times about the price. I have a screen shot in my many pictures of her telling me that the hair will be between $300-$400 and then to put in the extensions the first time will be $125. I paid Kim $500 upfront and then after she put my hair in she charged me $250 NOT $125. The hair cost $380.99, Kim directly sent me a link to pick out the hair color and length, and then later when I told her I was unhappy with her work, one of Kim's complaints is that she supposedly gave me her price on the hair and that she lost money there. So Kim was mad that she couldn't raise the price on me, but Kim is the one who told me where to look at the hair. So I paid her $500 the hair was $380.99= $119.01 left of my money. Let's say shipping was even $30 and Kim ordered me a brush that's about $12 =$77.01 left. Kim said she has to order the string and beads. But I doubt they cost $77.01. So where did the rest of that money go??? I never saw a detailed receipt and then I had set aside $125 for the implementation based on what Kim text me and then she charged me double with no explanation or description. Kim told me after that she charges $100 an hour and claimed that it took her 3 hours because I made it take that long because my head was hurting. Actually Kim was training a girl and kept stopping to talk to her co-workers. My head was KILLING me while she was putting them in but I told her to just do her thing. I never had her stop or told her to slow down. Then later Kim also claimed that she charges $100 per row and that she gave me a major deal. In my opinion Kim lied, and lied and lied to me and super screwed me over! Besides the money and cost, the job that was done was AWFUL! Kim put very tiny amounts of hair in the beads so it was painfully pulling every second they were in. There was also very messy uneven beads everywhere and a lot of them were not even sewn to the hair extensions. While Kim was putting them in, it was EXCRUCIATINGLY painful. It felt like she was sewing them into my skin. The very first night a bead broke off right in front and Kim acted like it was no big deal. The very first day I had to sew it back on with just my cotton thread and my sewing job lasted until I had another lady redo my entire extensions which was 3.5 weeks later. With in 10 days 5 beads broke off. Within 3 weeks a total of 7 beads broke off, the bottom row had slide way down and Kim had sewn a row right on top of another row on my left side and that came undone and was hanging off. Kim says she guarantees her work, which is great however she is 45 minutes away from me which is not her fault but ultimately I choose not to go back to Kim for any fixes is because I realized that she had no idea truly what she was doing. Within 3 weeks I would have had to go back to Kim for a repair a total of 9 times. I called around to many salons and told them my situation and everyone said this kind of thing should NEVER happen this extreme. And that a bead or two will break off only every once in a while. My new hair girl said it was the WORST hair extension job she had ever seen. My new hair girl took all the beads extensions out that Kim had done, and completely redid the whole job in an 1.5 hours and it didn't even hurt and they look and feel AMAZING! After my new hair girl did my extensions they feel so secure and they are not painful to lay on at all, as you can see from my pictures the new hair girl did bigger sections of hair in the beads which makes it feel so secure and then it's NOT painful. As you can see now it's so straight, even and organized. It's been 4 weeks and no problems. I took my complaints to Kim but all she did was argue and be rude back to me. Awful customer service and anyone can see from these pictures the difference in the work.
