Meagan did exactly what I asked for, expertly. I always have a problem with stylists cutting my hair shorter than I want, especially my side bang (Does this have a name? You know what I mean), which I was trying to trim and shape a bit while it grows out and she fixed me right up and blended the bang right into the rest of my hair and shaped the sides a bit to frame my face. For the blow dry she asked if I wanted to go stick straight (I have very straight hair) or add a little waviness to it and I opted for the latter. Its always nice to have something different and special, even though my hair tends to droop out of it after about 15 minutes- you can use a hot curler in my hair and shellac it with hairspray and it will be flat in 30 minutes. Seriously you have to be a wizard to keep a curl in my hair. Meagan styled it and added a little product and gave it as much oomph as my hair will begrudgingly accept. I looked *Good* walking out of that salon. I am not a selfie person, and I took some selfies in the parking lot before getting in my car. My hair felt light and airy and bouncy, which just does not happen haha. It still looked good and had some volume when I got home later on that night. It feels awesome walking around with sexy hair. Like I said, I do this mid-winter and I'm fair-skinned. Kara and her fellow geniuses at Aglow have helped me to figure out the exact right way to get that healthy, subtle tint without anyone stopping in their tracks to say "Whoa, did you just come back from vacation?!" The formulation is perfect - no hint of orange, just looks like an actual tan (a light one, in my case). They can customize to whatever you want, and take the time to figure it out. The Rapid Tan is great - rinse off in 2-3 hours instead of worrying about messing it up or leaving fake tan everywhere you go. I'm also pretty shy, so stripping down in front of a stranger with a (spray) gun can be very intimidating. The staff at Aglow is warm and friendly, which puts you at ease, but also super efficient. They know what they are doing and get you in and out within 15 minutes, tops. As a busy working mom, that is super important and appreciated. The online scheduling also makes everything super easy.
