My hair always looks great right after a cut, and it grows out well so that it can look good for weeks after it has been cut. I get a lot of compliments on my hair. It's also worth noting that the salon is handicapped accessible. I have really bad arthritis in my knees, so I looked for a salon that was fairly accessible. I can manage the few steps into the salon from the main entrance. When I mentioned accessibility to Mary, she told me that there is also a ramped enterance at the back of the salon for anyone who cannot use stairs at all.

I usually have April do my hair, but if need be, I would be good with any other of their stylists to do my hair. I recommend Hair Shapers to others. I used to go to a "pricey" place in Delafield and then another pricey place in Oconomowoc and I would recommend Hair Shaper's in Waukesha and give them a better rating than the other two places.

I decided that my bridesmaids and I would get our hair done there the morning of my wedding based on how available and caring the staff was. I received SO MANY compliments on my hair from the guests at my wedding, and my bridesmaids were so in love with their hair. They also do an amazing job with makeup! They were timely and very reasonably priced. We all received a small gift at the end of our visit too, which in my opinion makes the experience even more personal. I've since had my hair done for other weddings and even to match my Halloween costume, which I am convinced if it wasn't for my hair style, no one would have known what I was (see picture). I absolutely love Salon Marie and will continue to go there in the future!
