Now, all thanks to them (and the wonderful oral surgeon Rocco advised me to go see) I can smile again. Really smile. Everyone in the office is always compassionate and understanding. I had to give 4 only because an assistant handed me a bottle of special toothpaste once and neglected to tell me that I was going to be charged for it. I hate getting hit from left field with a charge I knew nothing about. UPDATE 5 STARS: We got a phone call from them and everything's been resolved! They're always so considerate and kind!! :-) This is America, most businesses only care about the money. Not Dr. Rocco's office. Everyone there simply cares about you, and how you're doing. It's a wonderful change compared to every dentist I've been to before. They're really the ONLY place to go.

And this is Exactly the reason why I drive from Flint 9 years later. I've seen a lot of Dentists in my life to know Dr Larissa,Dr Rebecca and the whole team are Caring Talented and Amazing. I'm also very grateful for their Incredible in house insurance plan, truly how many medical professionals go out of their way to help you stay healthy? Most Dentists I called in Flint wouldn't see me without insurance. I'll also add that I went to a Corporate Dental Care Chain Franchise location just to say "yeah I did" and I felt like I was bringing my mouth for an Oil Change no purple tooth brush floss or toothpaste. They found so many things wrong with my teeth that I knew were false then into the sales office and presented with a contact for $2100.00 followed by 2 sales pitch calls the following week. Then I called Grandville Dental Health PC and made an appointment ."Because They Care" I'm a satisfied patient and highly recommend Grandville Dental Health PC.

I never feel uneasy, and you are always greeted with a smile! The office is very clean and spacious. I never feel cramped. The newest dentist, Aaron I believe, is amazing. He was very clear on what he was going to do when I had fillings. And when I ask question, they always answer very thoroughly. The also explain why things should change. For example, instead of just saying "Floss more!" They might say "Flossing more often could help reduce gum bleeding. You may notice bleeding at first, but over time it will subside and you will have over all healthier gums." I love this place. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an appointment, and with all this Covid stuff I know some appointments have been cancelled…read more However, Dentists have been given the green light to begin working again and I received an email confirming my appointment. So I took time off work, drove into town, and sat outside for 35 min. I called the "please call this number on your arrival" number several times. I texted that number several times. I went up and knocked on the door. The voicemail said they were open but busy assisting someone else. I was the only car in the lot. No one ever answered. After 35 minutes, I guess the dentists were leaving for the day and on their way out they stopped to ask what I was doing out there. They insisted they are not doing hygiene appointments and that all of them were cancelled. Except mine wasn't cancelled. I had no missed calls from the office. I have no voicemails from the office. And I have an email that confirmed my appointment. And if they were supposedly open, someone could have answered the phone or my text at some point over the 35 minutes to tell me they were not open. But they didn't. All of this, paired with me always making the first appointment of the day at 7am so I can make it to work on time, only to not be taken back until 7:30am while I can hear the hygienists chatting behind the doors, and being late for work every time, and then the good doctor that they had absolving their partnership is reason enough to find a new dentist. They have made it very clear that your time and money is not valuable to them, except the part where you pay them for their services. Update: I reached out to them via email and said I think they should pay me for lost wages plus gas if they're going to cancel. After all, most doctors/dentists will charge you if you cancel without notice. They told me I was being reported to the police for being angry and threatening. Was I angry? Yes, I still am. Did I threaten anyone? Only if repeatedly asking why no one called to cancel is threatening. Only if asking why I received a confirmation email for my appointment within the last 2 weeks is threatening. Only if telling them I lost 1.5 hours worth of wages and drove almost 50 miles round trip was threatening. I was also asked never to step foot in their office again. That won't be a problem 2nd update: I just confirmed with another patient that she did actually get her teeth cleaned the very same day I was told they cancelled all cleanings and were not currently doing them. So this entire thing could have been avoided two ways - they could have called and cancelled my appointment, or they could have kept my appointment since they were doing cleanings. Instead they did neither and lied to me

Doctor should recognize the mistakes made and update the Michigan Dental Association with the…read moremistakes missed so everyone can get on with life and this patient can get his teeth fixed so they are touching and he can eat on both sides, 4 porcelain crowns just need to be remade it's that simple but the doctor or no one else is stepping up. Dr. Sarah Palmer missed a bunch of stuff through a biased clinical exam through the Michigan Dental Association with Dr. Palmer where the doctor from Grandville Dental Health Center that did the work was present and now the patient has to live with these ongoing issues because the doctor didn't do a proper clinical exam. Dr. Sarah Palmer was bribing me with a check to sign a release form to say the doctor did nothing wrong. Who offers a check to someone before the clinical exam even took place. I was no way taking a few thousand dollar check because I wanted to know why me teeth are breaking after a $54,000 full mouth restoration of all porcelain teeth but instead the doctor took a fake exam and didn't take any bite checks or x-rays and failed to diagnose 8 teeth not touching and a backwards dental crown then gives inaccurate information to the dental society to decided my case. Because of this doctor and the two other doctors that gave a fake exam and their failure to be non-biased this patient is unable to get his teeth fixed and was left with a botched dental treatment because Dr. Sarah Palmer doesn't know how to do a thorough examination. It is a complete fraud really... Patient used the SmileMichigan find a dentist tool which is owned and operated by the Michigan Dental Association and spent over $50,000 on a full mouth restoration through one of there members which consisted of 24 all porcelain teeth and was left with 8 of the 24 not even touching. Only 1 week after this full restoration a bridge became loose a crown became loose and another permanent crown fell completely off and the dentist was never willing to fix anything so a peer review complaint was filed but the whole board is friends with Dr Larrissa Bishop the past president of the dental society and the board members just couldn't be unbiased. The SmileMichigan find a dentist tool endorsed there members and advertised that the MDA dentists are dedicated to upholding the highest standard of practice so that you and your family can receive the best oral care. The MDA advertised that they are dedicated to ensuring that Michigan residents receive the highest quality oral health care and How can the MDA allow there member to leave a patient with 8 teeth not touching after a full mouth restoration. This should be illegal and if it's not made right then people should be prosecuted. Coverup after coverup because Dr. Larissa Bishop is the past president of the West Michigan District Dental Society that decided this case and there is major conflicts of interest with at-least 10 of the board committee members and they are all friends. The Michigan Dental Association is continuing to allow there member Dr. Rebecca Vanderbaan and Dr Larissa Bishop from Grandville Dental Health Center to get away with a backwards placed dental crown tooth #3 completely backwards then made several adjustments until 8 porcelain teeth are not even touching then left him with a backward dental crown until he found out from another dentist 1 year later. The MDA isn't even following their own guidelines and bylaws and should reopen this case because it's not going away as long as this patients teeth aren't touching. The MDA needs to help this patient get 4 crowns remade so his teeth are touching it's really that simple otherwise it's completely false advertising on the Michigan Dental Associations part. The Michigan Dental Association should go back and look at the Suppressed Photo #120 which is the photo that Chris Wilson, RDA, from peer review at the dental association says was weirdly missing from there files and re-open this case so this patient can get his teeth fixed. Stop covering up for the president of the WMDDS West Michigan District Dental Society and do your job. The dental association is not upholding there members to the highest standard of practice so that you and your family can receive the best oral care as they advertise to the public.
