Irving is pretty good and is my 2nd choice for gas in the area. The onsite convenience store is named "Red Lantern" and not the typical "Circle K" like most of the Irving's have. But today, the prices on the pump clearly showed regular at 3.25.9 per gallon. When I looked at the display on the pump, it showed 3.29.9 per gallon. I went in and they did give me my 35 cents back. But how many customers didn't notice this and paid the extra money. At the end of the day, Irving did quite well. I'm sure they did hundreds, if not thousands of sales. Multiply it by 4 cents a gallon. Hey, as a retiree, it's better in my pocket than theirs. And besides, gasoline on the east coast went down by 4 cents a gallon.
