Just adding some updates. After not being in my apartment for two months (I cleaned thoroughly…read morebefore I left, prophylactically sprayed raid, closed all windows plugged all drains) and was left with a surprise when I returned. 3 dead mice on my floor, as if they were poisoned and made their way to my apartment to die. And this was right after they raised my rent $150 extra a month. Take a look at pictures of the mice. And to the reviewer below, insinuating that these critter issues inside the apartment might be due to my cleanliness, I can assure it is not. I went away for 3 months and spotlessly cleaned my apartment before I left and got rid of every food item since I was going to be gone. I Was still greeted with cricket bodies and mice carcasses. I had a great experience my first 2 years too but to all you people looking to rent, you were warned.

Location is great. You'll see on the metro's website that they "care about their residents". As a…read morecurrent resident of over a year, I'll offer my honest, opposing opinion. The buildings are OLD. Paint is CAKED on. It's been cracking for the entire 12 months we've been here. They just keep covering up.... Also, not sure what they were thinking with the windows here. They are IMPOSSIBLE to open or close without two people. Seriously. You need to UUUMMPPPHHHH to open or close. Trust me, since the heat is basically always on, you will want to open these windows. We live on the second floor. The hardwood is nice, but there are some nails sticking out (we've lost many socks to holes due to this) and the floor literally sinks in towards the middle of each room. It's not enough to distract, but we have to prop up one side of our TV/ fridge/ bookshelf so that it doesn't topple over. You can't make this up. There is a wasp problem. We find dead wasps behind furniture and in the windowsill each time we clean. The air conditioners provided are old and quite frankly, I don't know if they are ever serviced, like you would expect at a complex of this size or at a complex with a more modern air infrastructure. Like others, we've had good experiences with the maintenance crew. They've had to come when our bathroom ceiling leaked while it was raining before it crashed, and to replace a sink faucet when we had no water. Lastly, upon renewal when emailing a property manager and the director, Robin G, we had a very disturbing experience. They did not respond to two of my emails when we asked questions about the renewal. I had to respond multiple times and loop in others to get a response. They pointed the finger at me, saying I did not respond, and when I proved that it was actually them, they never admitted fault, but instead said by default I had renewed my lease. This was extremely appalling, considering the email thread was regarding our potential departure. Now I'm forced to pay an unreasonable rent increase for a year despite requesting more information before signing a new lease. They should be ashamed of themselves for claiming they have anything more than subpar communication skills. I know the company was founded by two Penn Grads. As a Penn Grad myself, I am discouraged after having this experience with this company. TLDR: not worth your time. They could have at least responded to my emails ......

He seems to be nice as of yet. As far as Landscaping goes not so great, I believe the center of the complex gets the best work. When you come to look at the apartments watch the gardens as you walk in and towards the office, you will notice that there are hundreds of weeds. Anyone who has been a Homeowner knows that you are not suppose to have plants growing at the edge of the walls let alone Ivy creaping up the walls. The reason for this is drainage and outdoor pests that head indoor I think the management has never had the oportunity to own a home or a nice home because she seems to think it is nice looking when this is going on and also has no clue of the reasons for stopping this, to which I said google it. Well it could be that she does not live in one of the front propertiese, therfore does not care. origanally all Ivy was kept at least one foot in front of the bushes against the wall and I have been asking for at least 2 yrs for them to stop the growth from getting to the wall. I asked for it to be removed before it made it to the bush, I asked when it made it to the edge of the bush which would have been a simple fix if not ignored. I have asked and asked now it has killed the bush out of the front door and is growing to the windows, walkway and now towards the door. I finally saw one of the men from the owners and confronted him about the unkempt garden areas he said he would see about it but when the office was called to see when the landscapers would be around I was rudely told that she does not keep track of when they come and also was told that she thinks its nice as earlier stated. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD BE SAID AT THIS POINT.

The gates are iffy and several don't work. If you don't like having your place sprayed for insects on a regular basis, don't move here. If you're not big on pricey rents, steer clear. You're steps from Camden as well as freight train tracks. If management tok as good care of their tenants as they do the lawns, this would be a great place. Beware.

I have mixed feelings about the townhome that I am in. I love the location of the property. Cooper…read moreRiver being across the road is a plus. The location is 10 to 15 from Philadelphia, huge plus. It is also close to everything in Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Camden (if you go there) and other surrounding townships. I am not happy with the properties poor responses to some of my concerns. First concern was no hardwood floors like in the pictures advertised. Secondly, my kitchen renovation was a nightmare. Was suppose to take 2 days and it took about a month to complete. Not to mention, the contractors lost my key to my apartment causing my locks to have to be changed. My safety was potentially in jeopardy. I wrote the corporate office and have not heard back from them on either issue. This is displeasing and unacceptable. The townhome and location was the reason I moved here but I am not satisfied with the customer service and lack of corporate responses that I have yet to receive. The property manager is nice and has done what she could do with her authority but as far as upper management, their lack of response and slow responses to the hard wood floor issue is very disheartening for the amount of money I spend on rent.

Editing review post moving out: the absolute worst experience in two years. Erika is one of the…read moremost unprofessional people I have ever experienced in my life. We were extremely respectful, kind hearted, payments all on time, friendly with the neighbors etc and Erika from day one has been the most disrespectful person to us. When we moved in we had to wait an extra 5 days because the townhome was completely trashed. After fighting for 2 days they finally replaced our carpets and picked up the trash they left all over. No one, not one time did we get an apology. Over the 2 years we had issue after issue but continued to stay patient as we did enjoy our neighbors and neighborhood. Now we are being charged for normal wear and tear (pictures attached) . As you can see there is dirt on the steps mind you in the check out letter it states "carpets must be vacuumed" never once did it mention they needed to be shampooed or we would have done that as we owned a shampooer. 2 weeks before we moved our our refrigerator broke and 3 maintenance guys trotted through our home in their work boots leaving dirt in that walking path. Erika's response was "well why didnt you tell us to clean it" constantly blaming us. Always. Never once did that woman take accountability for her actions. When you run a property YOU take responsibility for YOUR employees actions. All she did was hide in her office and tell her staff to tell residents she was "on a call" every time you called. I could go on forever about his disrespectful and cold hearted she is but I will leave it at this. Just because we are renters doesn't mean it's not our home and we shouldn't be treated better. Erika I hope your kids never experience someone like you as their property manager. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Especially in customer service jobs as I am in customer service as well. However, our experience has been absolutely Horrible since the day we picked up our keys. We love our home, we love the area, we love the location. However, the staff here has been an absolute nightmare. No one responds to emails. After sending 3-4 we will finally get a response and 9/10 times they still do not apologize or try and make things right! We respect our neighbors, we pay rent on time, we are constantly being treated wrong! When we first applied we spoke with Danny and we were so excited to finally have an amazing, caring, responsive leasing agent and of course Danny gets promoted a month before we move in. I absolutely hate writing terrible reviews but enough is enough. We had a neighbor tow our visitors car due to an honest mistake that we owned up to. Even after apologizing and moving on from the mistake the neighbor called the leasing office accusing us of stealing his parking cone and threaten to Call the police if it wasn't returned! Meanwhile the cone was in another neighbors front area and no one called to apologize to us after showing them we did not do such a thing! Meanwhile neighbors have 4-5 cars parked all over, no stickers, and nothing happens to them. Now the fitness center is locked and you cannot enter the building when the leasing office isn't open. Unbelievable and I will NEVER recommend anyone moving here.
