For years I was told (if my wisdom teeth don't bother me don't bother them). Well, because I didn't have them looked at by a Oral Surgeon I developed an infection around one wisdom tooth because food was getting trapped which affected the tooth in front causing intense pain. My visit was so easy. But what stands out the most for me was the compassion and urgent care the office provided. The front desk girl told me not to even have a seat in the waiting area. She called a nurse who immediately took me in the back for more extensive X-rays and had me sit in a consult room for a few minutes and then went to get Dr Rothman. My own dental office had me wait for an hour that morning to be seen. Not long after Dr Rothman came in with his beautiful smile. He educated me and left the decision about the others in my hands. But said let's get you out of pain. He was not pushy in any way. The office was very clean and his office staff was incredible, from the folks at the front desk, to the nurse with him during my surgery (I believe her name was V- she is fabulous). They made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. And his nurse even held my hand. After the procedure I had a little pain and some swelling, which I expected. Dr. Rothmans office called to check on me the following day. I would highly recommend this office and will be going back for my other wisdom teeth to be removed in April. About a week before the appointment, the front desk called and asked if we could move our appointments to 11:00 AM. I told them that wouldn't work for us, and they said that was fine. During the same phone call, I specifically asked the receptionist to confirm that both my wife and I were still scheduled for 10:00 AM on June 27, because I wanted to make sure we weren't accidentally booked on different dates. The receptionist clearly confirmed that both appointments were at 10:00 AM. However, when we arrived today, I was called in for my cleaning first. After I finished, I noticed my wife was still sitting in the waiting room. When I asked why she hadn't been called, the front desk told us that she wasn't scheduled for today at all and that her appointment was supposedly next month. We were completely confused because we showed them the appointment confirmation text message, which clearly stated June 27 at 10:00 AM. Even after seeing the confirmation, the receptionist simply said they didn't know why it happened. This is extremely unprofessional. It appears that this office changed my wife's appointment without notifying us. This isn't even the first time they've tried to change our appointment--they had previously called asking to reschedule, but we declined. Somehow, despite that, they still ended up separating our appointments without our knowledge. We planned our schedules around these appointments and booked them six months in advance, only to have one of them changed without any notice. This shows a serious lack of organization and respect for patients' time. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dental office.

No one called, texted, or emailed me to let me know it had been changed. The receptionist just kept saying she wasn't the one who made the appointment and there was nothing she could do. No one offered a solution or even tried to fit me in. What disappointed me the most was that the dentist never came out to explain what happened or apologize. She did not call to apologize or to see how their office might resolve my situation but rather to very nastily defend her staff. She yelled at me n continually spoke over me. I ended up telling her to have a nice day n hung up on her. With regard to the response to my review where Dr Vanaria states "I used foul language". Never. Not once did any such thing happen. It's frightening to me that a dentist n owner of a practice would flat out lie. Disgraceful. And btw no one can force a Mamogram just as no one can force dental X-rays. I had a full set in 2022. I am currently being treated for an injury n receive X-rays every 3 weeks. It's my right to decline dental X-rays until I am no longer exposed to constant radiation. Common sense n kindness goes a long way which is something this practice lacks.

I mentioed a sore tooth to my previous dentist at a Deptford NJ family clinic and he just said he could do a root canal. (Also, when I said that I didn't want xrays every year, they said ok and cancelled my cleaning appointment!). When I finally came back to Dr. Wooley, she found the clinic's actions hard to believe, did a quick bite test, small grind on the tooth and the pain disappeared, at no extra charge. Once, in previous years, they even refunded my payment when they found that I had no insurance at the time. They also seem to know the details of insurance plans, which is surprising since mine won't interact with a dentist but only reimburse me directly - the insurance doesn't affect them at all. Uh, I'd say that they go beyond just being professional.
