The biggest issue is that Dr Garrin was using a company that he had never used and didn't know how to perform the surgery. As a result, my implants werent done correctly. I woke up in the middle of my surgery. This wouldn't have happened if I were being monitored by a Registered Nurse with ACLS and conscious sedation training. I can't state absolutely that the person who was required to monitor me wasn't an RN or ACLS-certified. Because I never got an answer from her. When I woke up in the middle of my surgery, there were 2 "other people" in the room during the surgery. These "other people" were reps from the "new company". They were teaching Dr. Garrin how to perform the procedure. I heard most of their conversations. I was never informed that this was new, nor was I advised that anyone else would be in the room with me. Not surprisingly, when I woke up, the "other people" were nowhere to be found! If I hadn't woken up DURING the procedure, I would never known that this was Dr. Garrin's first time doing this procedure and he was being trained, nor would I have known that there were 2 other people involved in my surgery. This is absolutely not in accordance with informed consent. The prosthdontist had to redo all the abutments. Yet they took me to small claims court for not paying them 1200$. As many other people commented, the judge knew his representatives well-sounds pretty suspicious! The judge wasnt interested in the fact that my surgery wasn't done properly; all he saw was an outstanding balance Both my children and I had used him in the past without issue (aside from the nasty lady at the front desk). I would suggest to anyone else to proceed with caution and ask questions..

They are pretty diligent in maintaining contact and working with any schedule. I've been attending for about a year. I am currently sitting in Dental Arts typing this because I'm struggling with the now two interactions I've had with this woman answering the phones. I called earlier to confirm and I spoke with her. She picks up, announces herself and I say, "Hi! I'd like to confirm my appointment I can't remember if it's 2 or 2:30p." Now I imagined as with all previous interactions I've had with literally anyone on the face of the planet I've talked to at a doctor's office...that she'd say something along the lines of "ok great, can I have your name?" Instead, I get a sarcastic, "well your number says wireless caller so I'm going to need your name to figure that out." Tone is a powerful thing and hers was not friendly. But I let it go and gave her my information. I figured who knows what kind of day this woman has had and I let it go. Fast forward and I come in and I am encountering this woman for a second time. Usually there's a check in to write your name on but I imagine they took it away due to COVID. so she's on the phone and I stand there until she's done so I can let her know I'm here. She gets off the phone. Can I help you? "Yes, I'm checking in for my appointment." Once AGAIN I get a sarcastic remark. How about SURE WHATS YOUR NAME? Like maybe it's me? Am I asking too much? Am I being to sensitive?! But when she walked away another young lady came up and did the EXACT THINGS I was expecting from the other lady!!!!! Now I have to sit here and try not to go all the way off while I await my cleaning. also I've been sitting here for half an hour and everyone that came in after me has gone back. Happy Trails!!

I work as a registered nurse, and I write this as a patient who had dental work performed here…read more I regret ever coming to this office. All of this happened within a span of 6 months. The first time I came here as a new patient, I noticed my tooth was discolored. I mentioned this to the dental hygentist taking care of me, and he said he didn't see anything, and pulled another dental hygentist in the room to look at my tooth. He said to me "That discoloration is the color of your tooth", as the other dental hygienist laughed at me. Another time I went, I asked the woman at the check out desk which pain medication to take after I had my root canal done. She said to me condescendingly, "You won't have any pain because the nerve is gone". She's right that I may not have nerve pain anymore, but I would have inflammation to the surrounding tissues due to the nerve being extracted. There was no need for her attitude. I went there for a routine cleaning recently, and at the end, the dental hygienist said to me "Has it been a while since your last cleaning? Because it looks like it's been... you know..." and gives me a look, insinuating that I had a lot of plaque in my teeth, and that it has been a long time since I had my them cleaned. If you have ever worked in healthcare, you're taught to keep your judgments to yourself and to care for the patient. Another time I went into their office, the endodontist assessed my tooth and determined it would be appropriate to do a second root canal. They had to move me to another room for the procedure, and when I walked in, I saw a bib on the chair. I told one of the employees that a patient left their bib on the chair. The girl took the bib, left the room, and said "They said that was there for you", and I told her "No, I already have one". I had doubts the room was properly clean. After the 2nd part of my root canal was finished, and after the numbing medicine wore off, I have no idea what the dentist did to me, but I had a fat lip that lasted for days. I don't know how common this is, but I've never had this happen to me before. Last, I had a crown placed one week ago, and it fell out last night. I called this morning to come in and be seen, and they refused to see me because they had no cancellations. I wanted to be taken today because it may not be possible to come in for the remainder of the week, due to childcare, work, and various appointments. The woman on the phone said "Then I will tell Michele next week then". They are refusing to see me over a crown they put in one week ago because they have no cancellations. As a patient, all of this behavior is egregious and unacceptable. I should not have tolerated all that I did, and should have seen another dentist sooner. The only positive thing I will say, is that Dr. Singh, the endodontist, was exceptional. I felt little to no pain, he was personable, kind, and soothing. I would recommend anyone to go to him if you need a root canal done. I don't expect this office to take this review seriously, and I have no doubts the people in this office will make fun of this review. But I'm putting this out there to warn other patients of how unprofessional this office runs.

For years I was told (if my wisdom teeth don't bother me don't bother them). Well, because I didn't have them looked at by a Oral Surgeon I developed an infection around one wisdom tooth because food was getting trapped which affected the tooth in front causing intense pain. My visit was so easy. But what stands out the most for me was the compassion and urgent care the office provided. The front desk girl told me not to even have a seat in the waiting area. She called a nurse who immediately took me in the back for more extensive X-rays and had me sit in a consult room for a few minutes and then went to get Dr Rothman. My own dental office had me wait for an hour that morning to be seen. Not long after Dr Rothman came in with his beautiful smile. He educated me and left the decision about the others in my hands. But said let's get you out of pain. He was not pushy in any way. The office was very clean and his office staff was incredible, from the folks at the front desk, to the nurse with him during my surgery (I believe her name was V- she is fabulous). They made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. And his nurse even held my hand. After the procedure I had a little pain and some swelling, which I expected. Dr. Rothmans office called to check on me the following day. I would highly recommend this office and will be going back for my other wisdom teeth to be removed in April. I moved to the area about 6 yrs ago and chose them because they were local. The 1st few visits were…read morefriendly, normal, went okay but after a few years a see lot has changed. The service has degraded, on all levels. You make an appointment, give your ins info, confirm the appt...all set. Then you get a reminder 5 days before the appointment, then about 3 days before, each time I respond yes, confirmed, complete all the pre appointment intake forms, etc...should be all set, right? NOPE. 2 days before the appt., another text to confirm, then the day before they send a text threatening to cancel my appt if i don't confirm by 6pm today. Really? I still kept my appt., went in on time in the afternoon, 1pm est and waited for about 30-40 min for the dentist. I wonder...can I charge him a late fee? Ha... Meanwhile, while in the waiting room...I can clearly hear the employees at the front desk area talking about people once they hang up the phone, it was bad. It was so uncomfortable because I am sure they talk negative about me as well since I am a patient...I mean, why wouldnt they, right? Now to the visit.. He walks in, I'm chatting friendly and he turns around with a needle in his hand coming for me mouth. I swear I instantly had a flash of Steve Martin and Bill Murray in the Little Shop of Horrors movie 'Dentist'! I asked for a numbing gel since I have Very sensitive teeth and am being seen by a Periodontist still but I have to also continue to be seen by a general dentist. When I asked, the expression on his face was not understanding at all, he looked pretty annoyed that I asked. Moving on to perform 3 fill-ins...Never asked me how I'm doing during the work but conversed with the assistant about personal stuff, like where they like to eat...who di what to who at the party...the entire time. I felt un important to him, and almost like he was annoyed to be servicing me. Now, about 3 weeks post fill-ins, I am in pain on 1 side he worked on but I will not make the mistake of going back to him to fix it...what did Bush say? Fool me once shame on you, fool me 2x shame on... hahaha I'm done now, will be switching my entire family to another general dentist. This practice must not want or need our business. I am not the type of person to settle when it comes to medical...anything.
