I also used Acupuncture to aide in my shoulder surgery recovery. The treatment helped to reduce pain and swelling so that I could perform my therapy more frequently, thus speeding my recovery. This parlor was kinda low scale but I wasn't there for the décor , only a good massage. After undressing , she came in and wanted to get the bill settled before the massage. She handed me my bill for the $48.00 I was quoted plus a $20 tip. I told her I thought that was rather excessive and also tips are earned not guaranteed. Had I been dressed I would have left but instead I offered her a $10 tip. She told me that $15 was the minimal on tips. Reluctantly I agreed and proceeded with the massage which was alright but nothing to write home about. I have never gone back. There is many parlors in Lubbock that are nicer with great massages for the prices these people try to extort from people.

For nearly an hour the same spot on my shoulder got massaged. Supposed to be a full body massage. Nothing done on the legs. Again, I was left on the table while they took off to do something. I got up, got my stuff and asked to speak to someone who could understand. They wanted to charge me for a full massage, but I explained them that I didn't get one. Ended up forcing me to pay $38 for nothing. Last couple of times at this place, the massages have been less and less competent. Should not be that way.
