We like this place…read more We've been clients for almost two decades, starting with our first-born, J, a shiba inu. We now come with our lab / German shepherd mix, A, who is something of a social butterfly. J was an introvert who liked socialization, but also needed his me time. He semi-enjoyed his days at Lucky Dog while we skied, but didn't love it. Our little girl, A, on the other hand, seems to really enjoy Lucky Dog and eagerly goes in, in the mornings. There is some beautiful mayhem going on. I love how much freedom visiting dogs have to interact and socialize. They have a reasonably large outdoor area for those who wish to go out. At one recent pickup, I saw that two little ones with thin fur, who seemed to prefer to be indoors, were allowed to stay in, while rambunctious, larger pups (with more winter fur) charged outside. It's great that care is personalized, that the pups can choose for themselves. By the way, pickups are fun and crazy. Give Laure and Duke a heads up that you're coming by if you have an internet / phone signal. Otherwise, you might find yourself walking into a 15 dog party where ALL of them think you're the most interesting human ever and jump all over you at the same time. I sort of love it! But you have a better chance of getting the news of the day from Duke and Laure when it's less chaotic. p.s. I'm just now reading the prior review about a lost/escaped dog. Our pups weren't / aren't big escape artists, I guess. They've always been able to free range in our private woods and unfenced yard in CT. But when he wished to do so, J was insanely smart and could open gates / doors or dig under fences. A can jump improbably high fences. (She tends to draw a rapt audience in Central Park whenever she exhibits this skill.) Either Lucky Dog's enclosures are now (circa 2024) effective or our pups chose / choose to be there. Either way, it works for us.

The next day he couldnt wait to go back and jumped right into the Adventure Mobile (and he HATES cars). We have a stubborn, 100lb great pyrenees and they were able to have him off leash, which we can barely do, so they know what theyre doing! We'll never use anyone else, they are the best! Also we had a 2 wheel drive and they were nice enough to find a spot for drop off that didnt involve hills. Truly the kindest!

Our 3 dogs have been seeing Dr. Anderson and her team since we bought our place in the Valley over…read more4 years ago. She is very knowledgeable and keeps up on the newest research at conferences etc and applies that to her veterinarian care which is best in class. We share our time between the Valley and Boston and I make sure my dogs receive all their care from Dr. Anderson. She is better than veterinarian care back in Boston. This week our oldest lab had an emergency visit (severe temperature with severe pneumonia). She got him in immediately when we called and ensured to cover all details to get him onto the right medication for recovery. She is invested in her patients and you feel like family. She even followed up today even though it's her day off. You won't find a more dedicated vet.

She made the process so simple and truly provided such an enriching and loving long weekend for our dog, complete with many hikes, walks, and swims. She kept us updated all weekend with photos of him, and brought him for our wedding portraits. He was so calm and relaxed, freshly shampoo'd and ready to go! We are so forever grateful to Debby for taking such amazing care of him. It was the best feeling being away from him and knowing he was in such capable and kind hands.
