For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. They were offering free food and beer from 1-3 PM, which was such an incredible way to show appreciation to their customers. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly. They also had several free raffles, and our family ended up winning the TV! What an awesome surprise! It made the day even more memorable, and the excitement from my family was priceless. To top it all off, they were incredibly generous and even gave my husband a whole box of cups because they had extras. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really showed us how much they genuinely care about their customers and community. You could truly feel the positive energy throughout the whole place. Great food, great atmosphere, generous people, and an awesome Customer Appreciation event--we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will absolutely be back!
