Not only did I get an amazing outdoor sectional that I absolutely love, but I also received outstanding customer service and the best prices around. If you're looking for quality furniture, unbeatable value, and people who genuinely care about their customers, Berk's Furniture & Mattress is the place to go. I highly recommend them!

Shopping at Craig's is an experience. A very New York City experience…read more Having previously purchased a mattress online and having to return it because I hated it, I didn't want to go through that experience again. I stopped by a few mattress shops in the city, but they were very small and many just carried the major online brands that were non-traditional mattresses (memory foam, no coils). A google search brought me to Craig's: a lot of glowing Yelp reviews, Google reviews, and a New Yorker article describing this "speakeasy" mattress shop. Given that Craig's is located right by my office, I made an appointment online. As others have mentioned, be prepared that Craig's is located on the second floor of an office building and that your appointment will be 1:1. Craig will ask you what kind of mattress you like, cut a piece of cloth for you, and place it on various mattresses as you try them. You never feel rushed or pressured. He IS chatty, so be prepared for that too. I tried many mattresses and ultimately found a mattress that I liked and placed an order (the first one that he showed me!). Fast forward to the day before delivery. I had told Craig I was moving in the morning and would need the mattress to come after noon, but when I got my delivery window it was the first one in the morning. He called the delivery company and they wanted to schedule it for the evening, but he correctly pointed out that because I was in a doorman building they might not let the delivery people up in the evening. He gave me two options: he would go meet them at my building in the morning and let them in OR he would come in the evening and help bring it up to my apartment if they wouldn't let the delivery people up. What? This is a crazy level of service. He also must have spent an hour on the phone between talking to me and the delivery company trying to figure this all out. It turned out my building was able to let them in without Craig being present, but his wilingness to go so far and beyond will not be forgotten by me!

Craig spent a lot of time with us and gave us the opportunity to try out different beds. We found a bed we liked and told him that we were going to go comparison shopping before making a decision. We did go to Macy's plus one other store but ultimately decided that Craig had the best bed for the best price. We appreciated the time he took and the no-pressure approach. We now have our new bed and are totally thrilled with it. I highly recommend Craig as he knows his stuff and gives you the time and space to comfortably come to a decision.

Ricky was knowledgeable and guided us towards the mattresses that would be a good fit for us. He explained each mattress, the benefits of owning that particular mattress and was 100% honest if he didn't think it would be a good fit. When we decided on the right mattress, we were going to tie it to the roof of our car. When Ricky saw that we were in a predicament (we did not have ratchet straps or rope) he offered to drop the mattress off at our house after the store closed at 8pm. To his word at 8:01 he called us and told us he was on his way and at 8:09 we have the mattress in our house. We are very thankful for Ricky going out of his way for us and will definitely be doing our business with him from now on. Thanks, Ricky!

Two weeks... two weeks is all it took to naturally repair three years of back pain…read more As David said, a mattress isn't a physical therapist, but I've been doing physical therapy this whole time. I have a muscle condition apparently, which I've sort of known about my whole life, but it was never this bad. I had tried two new mattresses before this one - a tempurpedic, and a cheap floor model from Sleepys that I took because it wasn't tempurpedic. I figured neither one helped, so it couldn't be the mattress. The difference with Sleep Factory Outlet was that David took the time to listen, and to educate me about what makes a person need a firm or soft mattress. We found the mattress that felt best for me, with all the time and attention in the world, no sense of urgency, and not feeling left alone to my own devices. On top of that, they built me a custom-made pillow exactly to the height I needed, in the shape I wanted, at the size I specified, and I've never been happier! Finally, for icing on the cake... I was feeling absolutely miserable and even afraid of driving from how much back pain I had just two weeks ago. I felt light headed and afraid of passing out just from being in the car chair for too long, going on the highways. Something to do with my ribs, I think. I explained my situation, and while David was unable to accept credit card over the phone, we worked something out and I was able to send payment to him and receive my mattress and pillow within hours of them being completed, without having to drive over to try them out! I'm happy to say that I lucked out with the right firmness, as it feels like a full body hug whenever I lay down. I'm getting a solid 8 hours of sleep every night, and I'm sleeping in past the sunlight and sounds of people slamming their car doors in the morning. No more back pain! Incredible.
