My wife is currently in extreme pain from severe migraines. She saw both an internist and a specialist, and both prescribed the same MRI. This center managed to mishandle her file to such an extent that we still do not know if she will get the imaging she needs on time. Here is the timeline of their failure: 1) They mishandled the initial pre-authorization from the internist. 2) When the specialist prescribed the same MRI, New Jersey Imaging Network recommended we call insurance to cancel the previous request. This was terrible advice. 3) They never followed up on the new request while lying to my wife that the pre-authorization was in progress. The negligence is stunning. I got the insurance company and New Jersey Imaging Network on a conference call today. The Center tried to blame my wife for having a complicated file. Then, they admitted nonchalantly that their pre-authorization team only looks at the first page of the file. They misled a patient in pain for over a week simply because they did not read past page one. The staff here needs to be more empathetic and thorough. I hope management reads this and fixes their broken process immediately.

At Hoboken radiology you have a private room with TV to relax while you drink the contrast. The woman who did the procedure was amazing and caring and sent me home with a goodie bag of warm socks and PJs. It was such a kind gesture that I still tear up when I think about it. Sadly, as a chronically ill patient it's rare in a medical setting to be treated so well. I'm so happy to have found this location in Hoboken.

Granted, I had low expectations of this place - it's an imagining center in the heart of the Kennedy Center in Union City, so by no means was I expecting 5-star service. However, I have been pleasantly satisfied with both experiences. So far, I've had an X-ray of my foot and an Ultrasound of my Thyroid. These are obviously two non-invasive procedures, so if you are coming here for a different kind of test, I can't speak to that. Both times I had an appointment - I was able to create an account and easily book it online. The company sends several reminder messages via text and also allows you to upload everything right to the portal, including your insurance and the order. When you get there, they just verify everything. (You can walk in with a prescription, however this place definitely gets very, very busy.) My first appointment was a Wednesday at 4pm for an x-ray of my foot. They had called and asked if I could come in earlier (since there was no one else on the schedule) and I was happy to do so. I walked in at 3:30 and the place was absolutely packed with people - like standing room only. It took a few minutes just to get checked in, and I was like, "There is no way I will be getting out of here in a timely fashion!" However, I was pleasantly surprised - the tech took me right away and the x-ray was done with no issues. The tech was incredibly mindful, polite, and knowledgeable. I was out in under 30 minutes. My second appointment was an ultrasound of my thyroid. I went when I was off of work, and so I was able to get in in the morning. The place was a lot less crowded and quiet. My appointment was at 12:30, and ironically I did wait a little bit longer to get in to see the tech - but I was out by 1, less than 40 minutes all together. The tech was great - she made me feel comfortable. Both images/ reports were uploaded to the port within 48 hours, and were sent to my doctors. Honestly, no complaints about this place. I got done what I needed to get done with minimal issues, and every staff member (from the desk staff to the techs) were great. I even accidentally dropped an item in the office and a staff member called me right away to come claim it - I didn't even realize I had something missing. I can understand why someone would want to go a place that is 'fancier' than this imaging center, but for what it is - it gets the job done!

The report to accompany the disk was never received by my doctor so we had to wait an hour for it to be faxed over. Now it's time to pay and I cannot get anybody on the phone. Tried multiple times and the one woman who can help me is "not here" or "she's on lunch". If the payment instructions were on the invoice it would be a lot easier. All in all you're better off going to another locations. MRIs are expensive and this isn't worth it.

I called the office and spoke to billing, who assured me that I had already paid this charge in the office, and the bill would be deleted. But every month, the bill comes again. Last month, after being told the bill would be dismissed, they went ahead and CHARGED my credit card for the amount instead. I hadn't been in the office for nearly 6 months, yet they pulled out my credit card number from my visit and charged it without my consent. I only found out by noticing the charge on my credit card statement. I spoke to reception in Park Slope and Hoboken, billing, even the doctor of the practice who assured me that I had already paid, and would take care of the monthly bills. They refunded my credit card. Today, I received a notice from them about my lack of payment, and the multiple notices I have apparently been ignoring, with a threat to pay within 10 days or else they will be forced to "pursue other collection options." I am at a loss, as they are threatening to send my bill to a debt collector for a charge I have already paid, and have been told I have already paid by multiple people. This is harassment. I have wasted HOURS on the phone dealing with this charge, for a visit that was 8 months ago. And now, despite being told that the bill is incorrect, I will have to deal with a debt collector, over something I have already paid. Save yourself the headache and stay away. This is either a shady business practice or they are simply too incapable of handling a single bill--either way, you are better off going somewhere else. On Wednesday March 31st when I called FemGyn another ultrasound tech stated she would text her co-worker and let her know to follow up with me which has not happened. Being that FemGyn and PDC are not the same entity I also called PDC direct hotline everyday and only received a call back on Friday April 2nd in which the women on the phone said she would call a doctor and see what he could do and call me back. She never called me back either. Even if she had no answer for me I expressed my concerns to her so for her to not call back and say sorry I couldn't reach a doctor or anything it's UNACCEPTABLE. Due to my frustration FemGyn employees also tried to assist me in reaching out PDC and also have had no luck. This is NOT okay. This is people lives. Why does a patient have to run around for answers especially when they aren't feeling well. I will be reporting this further up. I was really hoping for good things out of this company as they specialize in my issue but now I don't trust that I would be cared for properly.

She recklessly took advantage of the opportunity to perform aggressive liposuction on me with little training and no prior experience. I was naive. I only went to her for vein treatment, but was persuaded heavily by her and her staff to commit to her new offer of liposuction. The biggest regret of my life!!! She ruined me body! I was awake but sedated. The wheels of the table I was on were not locked, so as she was jamming the burning tumescent scope into my hips and thighs the table was rolling all over the place. As she went to move to treat the opposite hip and leg, she lost her balance and grip on her tool, she fell down on the floor, leaving the scalding, burning scope inside me as she scrambled to her feet. I have spent over $40,000 in doctor's bills on revision lipo, fat-grafting, continuous injections and other procedures since my fateful encounter with Gina Louie. Desperate to correct the damage she did and to recover some semblance of the beautiful and natural body contours once I had. Bottom Line: Went only to Gina Louie's office for vein treatment. Never even considered plastic surgery before. She played her loud music and gave me a sufficient of benzodiazepine during the vein procedure. She talked about this great new liposuction she was offering, and for only a limited time at a discount. In my medicated state still during the procedure,I said I might be interested. Next thing I knew, once my vein treatment was done and I was waiting still in the treatment room, her sourly nurse comes in asking me to sign a contract for lipo treatment at a discount to be performed upon Dr. Louie's return from CA where she will be undergoing medical training in the procedure. So here I am signing an agreement and paying a deposit to have a brand new form of laser liposuction performed on me, not by a plastic surgeon, but by a vein radiologist with absolutely no prior experience. This woman has killed me in so many ways. Her greed has stolen so much from me and has filled my life with grief and regret. I wish I had called her out much sooner and much louder, but at the time I was so naive, distressed and depressed, and so ashamed of myself for allowing someone to take advantage of me and my body image.
