Today I went to drop off clothing for dry cleaning, after having a real disastrous of experience a few months ago. I had home delivery pick up and I had to take pictures of my own clothing to prove that I was giving my clothing to Matthew who came to pick up my clothing because he did not have any sort of receipt to provide to me as proof that Green Cleaners were taking possession of my belongings. I would only imagine that this is a huge liability for any company large or small due to the fact that there is a risk attached to dry cleaning. The young lady at the counter was professional. However, a few minutes later I received a very unsettling phone call from Matthew, accusing me of posting a FALSE YELP review under the cleaners. Now, I did not have a yelp account that I knew of, and it seems here that people either like Green Cleaners in Hackensack NJ or they don't. For me, I would say they did a decent job with my clothes, however, the customer service is not good at all. Matt called and accused me of writing a negative review about the cleaners. I explained that I did not do any such thing. He then told me to REMOVE the NEGATIVE REVIEW immediately otherwise he would not be drycleaning my clothing. UCC amendment #7 is the right of everyone on American soil, its called "Due Process" I was accused, tried, and sentence in all one sentence. Matthew was NASTY, UNPROFESSIONAL, INAPPROPRIATE, AND THAT IS NOT THE WAS ANY SMALL BUSINESS should treat customers. Just to advise Matthew is White and I am black. Not a good accusation when a white man accuses a person of color of something that is frivolous. Therefore I went back, I picked up my clothes and the young lady at the counter said, "I'm sorry, I have to give you back your clothes, I am so sorry." Matthew came from the back and started yelling and accusing me of idiotic nonsense, posting negative things about his business?. I know-how Ahmaud Arbery & George Floyd felt when they were accused by a white man for something they did not do, and murdered for something so ridiculous. I have never posted on this site prior to today. However today I did not plan to make a submission either. But since I have been accused of writing a post? I decided to write one. I stopped in to get a pair of jeans altered at the last minute as a new customer. I needed it ASAP for a trip to Jamaica. And to my surprise they assured me that they would be able to accommodate my request. I was very happy and what made me even more happier is that the alteration came out phenomenal. I met one of the part owner who apparently worked there as an employee..She immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was very pleasant and professional...She took time to listen to what I needed and even made recommendations. The entire staff was very warm and welcoming. They seems to have an extensive knowledge in their expertise of alterations and certainly display a high level of appreciation and gratitude for your business which reassure me that great customer service is still alive and well. read more

I want to share my recent experience with this company. They damaged my coat and tried to pass it off as a stain. When I asked for compensation, they responded with a threatening message, claiming they would involve the police and an attorney. I refuse to be intimidated by seeking justice, so I plan to share the evidence, including the damaged coat and our conversation, on various platforms. Their unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. The $38.99 they offered does not cover the damage they caused. I am considering taking legal action, and I believe others who have been mistreated should do the same. I will also share the photos of the documents they wanted me to sign, which I refuse to do in exchange for their poor customer service. read more

I am so happy to have found Hackensack green cleaners. When I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly face. I had brought in 2 gowns and one dress that needed a zipper fixed. One of the gowns had ketchup stains on it and the other one was pretty dirty as well. The customer service woman was very honest with me about how much it would cost and said they would try to get all the stains out. I could not have been happier with the results!
