My old dry-cleaners shut down and I wasn't sure where to go so I tried Oritani. It's a small…read moreoperation. Maybe a family business? There is a gentleman and I think his wife and then another older woman who does the tailoring. I bought a few items in, maybe 7 or 8 and was pleased with their work when I picked them up. The woman at front is a bit elderly and sometimes seems to be a little confused. I was surprised to see a gentleman come in and fill out his own slip but the next time I did the same and they just checked each item and wrote the price. Odd but I didn't mind because she seemed to need help. Pricing is excellent by the way. I wish I had could remember exact pricing but they are very reasonable. You definitely have to have patience at times. I went back once when my clothes were supposed to be ready but one of the skirts wasn't done. He told me and was apologetic and I said, fine, I'd return in a few days. When I picked my items up the skirt was beautifully done. It was a white wool skirt with a leather band and belt and he did just as great a job, as another higher priced "specialty" dry cleaner. I took a dress and jacket set that was a favorite of mine -that I hadn't worn in a while because of a stain that I thought couldn't come out. Well -I was very happy that they were able to make it like new! My daughter's little fancy dresses look like new also. I now feel confident taking my more expensive items because they've done a great job with what I've taken in so far. They've been in the area for years. I'm going to keep coming here. It's old school for sure and the location isn't great. There is a very small, awkward parking lot. don't expect some grand operation- they seem to be just hanging on, but if want your items nicely dry-cleaned at a very reasonable rate, want to support a small mom and pop operation, and like nice customer service you should give them a try.

They are very tech savvy and we love being able to text for pickup/delivery or any questions. They…read moredo a good job and they are very meticulous, alerting us of missing/broken buttons or any other fixes needed. We had a drop off missed twice, but that's in 6 months of using them. They were apologetic and definitely more communicative about when drop off would be. They do quality work and take customer service seriously.

1 star This was my…read morefirst time using Englewood Green Cleaners, and the customer service left a bad impression. On the 22nd I got a receipt showing an invoice number, the amount, and "paid." When I picked up my items, I paid with my card and got a second receipt for the same amount, this time with a reference number instead of an invoice number. Two receipts for the same amount, both showing payment, looked to me like I'd been charged twice. So about half an hour after leaving the store, I called to ask. The cashier, David, couldn't explain how their receipts work. Instead, he suggested I shouldn't be calling him at all and should have checked my bank account first, as if asking the business about its own receipts was out of line. He checked with what I assume is their main office, but his answers stayed unclear and left me more confused. Eventually he called back to say this is standard and I was only charged once. I'm glad I wasn't double charged. But there was no apology for the confusion and no acknowledgment that two "paid" receipts would confuse anyone. When I told him I wasn't happy with how he'd handled it, his response was that he hadn't cursed at me, so what was my problem? That says it all. Not cursing at a customer is not the standard for good service. A simple "sorry for the confusion, here's how our receipts work" would have been enough. As a first-time customer I didn't feel valued, and I won't be back.
