Joe, the estimator, came a couple days after my request to price out the job, which was full replacement of my front porch and rehabilitation of my front walkway. The quote was reasonable, but the timing was about 10 weeks in the future (due to back log of jobs, also reasonable). The crew showed up on Tuesday, and I had a beautiful new porch by Saturday. The crew was SO hard working (~8:30 am till 7 pm!) and always cleaned up promptly each evening. Rick, the foreman for the job, was updating me daily and was very receptive to my questions. My porch sits on top of a cold cellar, so it was NOT an easy job. They replaced the entire decking it sat on, no longer will I need to worry about it caving in! The job did come in over estimate due to the added cost of replacing the porch decking, but it was completely worth it. A+ work in an A+ timeframe.

Water had been collecting on the exterior of the wall for years, which was causing the wall to slowly sink over many many years. They offered an honest sensible solution, which no other contractor could do. Now the wall is structurally sound, the water is all being pitched away from my home and we ran a trench to the street as well. The workers were friendly, worked VERY hard and showed up on time each morning. It may have taken them time to get to my project but when they did get to me they were great! I would recommend them to anyone!

We had been getting quotes and researching of company's that installed fences. We look into the…read moretypical Home Depot, Lowes fencing but they were outrageous with their pricing and the quality of fence was not the greatest. We came across All Jersey Fence and called them up for an estimate etc. They were very professional and very communicative and understood what I needed and my budget. At first we wanted a certain amount of fencing to be installed (removing our old one of course), we also asked for the removal of the remaining fence we had up which was old and wood. The quote was great so we went with them. When they started, they had the one side of my house which originally was 35ft that was originally going to be replaced, taken down in less than 1hr and ready to start on the installation, as they were installing we decided to keep adding to that side so they continued the run, the left side of my fence was a bit tricky do to having an old tree that is basically dead in between the run of the fence, they were able to cut to it and it looks great! When then added a few more feet of fencing to finish off our back yard and we are extremely happy with the job, it took a total of 3 days only because my right side of the house had a lot of work but the third day was really 1/2 day to do the final touches which were the gate doors and a 3ft piece on the side of the house. The installers paid attention to detail and made sure that the fence was both plumb and level. It made a huge difference to our home and we couldn't be happier! Ed really helped us get the project started, Charlie, which I believe is the owner, was excellent and wanted to make sure I got what I needed and was happy with the job, and Mary at the office was a pleasure to speak to with the paper work etc. They made sure they took all the old fencing down and that the back yard was left clean. We are very grateful for they work and professionalism, we will recommend All Jersey Fence to everyone we come across that is interested in getting fence work done! Thank you guys again!!

We had 25 privacy bushes planted this past fall, a costly investment and a big decision, especially as a first-time home owner. The pricing was fair, they got the job done quickly (without cutting corners), and they've been super responsive throughout the whole process. Work: Asphalt driveway, Belgium blocks, and circular short wall…read more It was a pleasure to work with Seamus, David and their team. I have a long driveway with a circular on top. As this would be a fairly extensive project, I took 8 different bids and asked many questions about how each would complete the job. I also researched the final 3 to make sure they would do a good job based on their online reviews. At the end, I decided to go with Empire not because they were the cheapest, but because I was convinced that they would do the best job. This is important as I'd like my driveway to last a long time. Empire wasn't able to get started right away because they are booked solid. This is a good sign, but that means you need to plan ahead. Seamus was able to slot me in for a week since I'm considered a small project. Then covid happened... At this point, we all try to be reasonable and I told Seamus to let me know when they would be allowed to work again. Seamus is a good communicator and called the week before they could start. Given that they would be outside and in masks, this is a home improvement project that can still go ahead. Every day, Seamus, David and the team would come to my home at 8am and work till about 5pm. They wore face coverings and maintained social distance when possible. They also picked up each day. They did a great job on everything. It's been a month later and I've walked the driveway several times and still very pleased. I would highly recommend Empire.
