We came on a weekday, wasn't busy. My first time trying hookah, we got the pineapple head with mint I think, We left it up to the guys to choose. They played contemporary rap which I enjoyed. I do wish they had tea and snacks. The hookah was still good not harsh, after 1.5hours. They changed the coals and check on the hookah a few times. We came to Habibtea for a late afternoon treat on a Wednesday. The store is a thin narrow space next to the hookah bar, and had lots of cardboard boxes stacked up. There is no seating and the store was empty, with the singular worker hidden at the back of the store somewhere. We ordered a classic milk tea light ice, 75% sweet ($6) and a green milk tea with boba, no ice and regular sweet ($6.50). We were surprised by the cost, since rhe menu prices ranged from $4.00-4.50 and must have been un-updated. The regular size is around 24oz large. Both of our drinks didnt taste like tea at all, mostly just sweetened water with a touch of powdered creamer. The boba pearls themselves were not bad, sweetened and chewy. The green milk tea had a strange off taste to it, and we ended up throwing it away after a few sips. The classic milk tea wasn't enjoyable but we were able to keep drinking it. Overall, definitely would not recommend this place for boba. read more

Absolutely TRASHHHHH THIS IS SCAM CITY. After 50 minutes of waiting and waiting, we gave up and decided it was not worth staying. The vibes are trash; the building is small and run-down; the decor is cheap, so are those cheap Walmart sofas; and the walls are dirty. There is only one guy working on the hookah and a cashier out front who enjoys watching a group of friends shoot dice. Music is blasting on a crappy Bluetooth speaker so loudly that you can't hear the person next to you. read more

How cool? A place that serves boba, crepes, and has a hookah lounge? I went for the very same reason. Totally took the bait. The boba and crepes are on one side of the establishment and there's a full wall that separates it from the hookah lounge. Totally didn't expect that, but whatever. I went to the hookah lounge first. $20 hookahs, not bad, right? The server asks me what flavors I wanted, but for every flavor I chose, they told me they were sold out on it. So what flavors do they have that they have stocked? The server says, "Anything else." So I pick another flavor... That one is sold out too, and that one too, and that other one too. Like wtf, why didn't the server just tell me what's available, which was really just 5 flavors of the 30 listed? There was another table that had pineapple heads on their hookahs, so I asked the server what it does. The server goes, "That's what I was trying to tell you to get! It makes the hookah taste better and last longer." Wtf again? You never tried to tell me anything about the fruit head or try to get me to order it. You just told me you were sold out on everything other than 5 flavors. When the hookah came out, there was no flavor in the smoke whatsoever. I got guava with a hint of mint and I couldn't taste anything in it. I asked the server again why there was no flavor and he told me that it could probably be the coals. He "could" change the coals for me, but it would cost me $10 because that was the "Refill" price. Wtf again? Refill on what? I can't taste anything, to begin with. He said I was at my booth for 20 minutes and that I could be smoking out the whole bowl already... but 15 minutes of the 20, I was sitting down waiting for my hookah to come out. This whole experience was all red flags. The server doesn't know how to do his job and forgets shit he says to his own customers. Maybe if he stops leaving his own store every 5 minutes to go outside to smoke hookah, he would know what his customers need or want and attend them better. Also, there's some shady as shit going on when he leaves and all the customers are left alone. There's people who go in and don't order any hookah or anything. They just sit around and group up and talk among themselves. These people are dressed and look super sketch. When I was leaving, the groups of people are looking at ID cards and other stuff they took out from some black plastic bag with their high-beam flashlights. Idk what's going on in that establishment, but they should really have someone attend to the store and kick out people who don't belong inside before this place gets the rep as a super shady gang hideout. read more

Sketchy, and weird vibes. Waited for an extremely long time for hookah-never received the hookahs. I noticed there were many other people before us that didn't receive any service but yet they take your money at the door. Once you walk in, you realize it was all a scam and a trap. Plus they don't issue refunds once they wasted all your time for no service what so ever. Screams scam! Only one person is working while others are doing nothing hence the long wait. He seen we ordered drinks yet we never received them. No decor, cheap sofas, & no tvs-music sucks on a lousy speaker that sounds horrible. Great service and hookahs. Owner is very considerate and makes sure all his customers are satisfied or will do what he can to satisfy your hookah needs. My only suggestion is that Sunday should open at 3 or 4 for those who work early Mondays and want to come by for an early relaxing hookah session. First off I am only adding 1 star in order for this post to be public , but there is no stars at all given from myself & my friend . Let me start by saying that we were recommended to try this place out by a friend one because of hookah, two because of boba served as well. The inside is dark with nice booth style seating and small coffee tables(big enough for hookah and drinks) . It's a bit confusing because it is actually two separate buildings one for hookah the other for the boba and crepes. While inside after about 5 minutes we were greeted by a young man who was welcoming, looking for the boba we were told that it was next door and the drinks would have to be ordered there. There was only 5 people total inside and 1 single table outside that was occupied with 2 people. While getting our drinks we decided to go back in to the hookah shop and give it a try. The music is very loud, there is not proper air ventilation for the smoke, but as mentioned there was only one outside table. The young man asked what flavor we wanted and recommended we try a pineapple bowl with our hookah and a special fruit mix he would make for us."I'll take care of you guys and hook you up" (also because he knew the acquaintance we knew) so we got our hookah which was yummy and nice, 30 min in we noticed he was saying good night since his shift hand ended, while smoking we noticed no owner was around in both the boba shop and hookah shop, no hookah pricing, young ladies who work there going in an out to sit outside and eat at the table that we ended realizing it was occupied by regulars or employees. Regulars going in and out and behind the counters doing as they please with hookah items,(which I've seen these regulars do before at other shops here in Fresno) these people doing as they please, grabbing drinks from the fridge as they please, walking away from the counters where registers are leaving them unattended so they can eat, smoke, have conversations as if this is what they get paid to do. In the end while catching the young ladies attention to pay our bill for one hookah it was over $40 dollars, no special "hook up " as told. In my opinion if you're not a " Hot girl in a crop top" or a "regular" you are over charged while these other people pay less or don't pay at all. Save your money and your gas & find another place. We really were excited about trying this place, but not at this cost and horrible service. The owner needs to watch what the employees are doing. If you're on the clock there is no reason you should be smoking hookah, eating and having conversations outside with your friends while the customers are inside alone just watching money be blown and wasted. read more
