I was forgotten about in a medical room after having rang the bell several times. Dr Torres is not good. I went in for my annual and he forgot to refill my medications--the whole point of going in for the annual as they won't refill meds unless you make the app!! idiots. I asked for the refill again at a follow up--still no refill. Dr Torres does not read or pay attention to what is in portal. I had a positive test and mentioned it in the appt and he looked at me blankly like he had no idea what i was talking about. He seems confused, unorganized and has difficulty with rapport as he can barely make eye contact. Definitely not returning here.

The hospital was great too, amazing nurses there. I was always able to see my specific doctor and I really never had an issue. She was in a panic when I went with her to the next appointment. He came in spouted about 30 seconds of nonsense and started to walk out. I stopped him and asked about the ultrasound. He said, "Oh, that was all ok" and walked out. Insensitive and obviously just waltzing through as many appointments as he can to get the money. Not cool.

Seems like he just wanted to get paid and didn't care at all about my comport with him intruding on a personal part of my body with no real explainaion. He's a fast talker and a doctor that likes to use his power to get money or get off on something or both.Totally disgusted with him. Can't say stay away enough…read more Had a reoccurring bartholin gland cyst. After having it drained in the er I went in to her office for a pre op. Was talked in to having the surgery right then and there under local. To save me money. Lol The pain, is not easy to explain in words. I guess, razor blade on fire cutting open your vagina lips? It is infected, so not easily numbed. She dismissed that I felt anything, yelled at me to stop moving. I felt every slice she made, every squeeze, every stitch. After getting in 5 of 6 stitches, she said "oh I guess you are in too much to continue. " oh.... now you think so? My insurance didn't cover that. But thankfully she knew exactly what she had done, and I wasn't charged for the visit. Even was referred to therapy for what they had done to me. Sadly, my insurance did not cover it. It's been almost a year. And I refuse to go back to another obgyn for anything cause getting on that table is terrifying. Do not come here to see this woman.

Dr. Arcangeli delivered our daughter last March, and we have nothing but nice things to say…read more I switched to Arcangeli pretty late in my pregnancy after finding out that Carson Tahoe Regional Hospital is a much more affordable option for deliveries compared with Barton Health here in South Lake. I regret that he wasn't my OB for my entire pregnancy -- he has a great bedside manner, is very engaged and had detailed, intelligent but jargon-free discussions with us. When I discussed wanting a natural childbirth, he was very supportive, which I found refreshing compared with my previous OB. I ended up needing a c-section because my daughter was breech (hospital policy does not allow breech deliveries for firstborns), but I'm confident that Arcangeli is not a doctor who pushes unnecessary procedures, and that he will do everything he can to help his patients meet all reasonable birth plan goals, natural or not. Although I wanted to avoid a c-section, I am as happy as I can be with the results -- I had no difficulty with my incision, had a very easy recovery and have a very healthy baby girl.
