The first one was receiving treatment for heart worm when I took her and Dee was wonderful about picking up the dog to take her for the treatments at the vet while I was unavailable at my job. I was made part of all decisions about the dog's care and shared none of the expense of treatment. When special vet diet was necessary, Blue Moon provided it all for me. I couldn't be happier with how the adoption went. Though my lovely German shepherd only lived 4 years after recovering from the terrible disease, I wouldn't trade one minute I shared with her and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to know and love her! Additionally, I was fortunate enough to foster some dogs through Blue Moon after adopting my next pet. Every person who fosters, transports, processes applications, or performs home visits for prospective adopters is a volunteer.
