Family trip to the Poconos to meet another family from out of the area and decided to check out H2Oooohh on a Saturday. Kids along were 11, 13, 14 and 15 plus 4 adults. We arrived around 10:30AM (park opened at 10AM). Rented 2 lockers to hold our dry items, you either need to use a card or use exact cash - small lockers are $10 and large lockers are $12. That gains you access to the lockers for 24 hours, with as many in/outs as you need. There was a decent crowd but not overcrowded. We easily found 8 lounge chairs together to place all of our towels and flipflops down (we highly suggest wearing flipflops to the park). The kids enjoyed the non-working wave pool, the 3 slides, wave rider (surf machine). The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The wave pool and wave rider had warm water, the hot tub had hot water. Two of the slides are for 1-2 riders and one of the slides was for 3+ riders. The water for the 3+ riders was rather cold but the slides also go outside and this is the middle of January. The hot tub only allows those 18 and over, which was a nice treat for the adults. There is a tiki bar inside the water park with margaritas, frozen drinks, and beer - a decent mix of options. The bartender was extremely friendly, as were all the staff. There is a food stand with a large mix of options and the food was okay, with typical prices for this type of revenue. Everyone had a good time and we ended up spending 6 hours total at the water park. All in all, it was well worth the admission fees and is a place we would return to. read more

There's a lot to be desired. Not clean. Most attractions aren't working. Only one of the slides worked/was open and we saw a few roaches. They are in need of desperate repair and it's sad because it could be really nice. My 5 year old who loves pools was ready to go after 30 mins or so. I was skeptical of this place because of the reviews but decided to check it out anyway. I was trying to keep my two sons busy during their long school break and the prices here were reasonable. It was a nice hour drive up here for us to get away for the day. I guess I had low expectations but for us I was presently surprised. It was clean and easy to get inside compared to the other water parks and a fraction of the cost. We spend about three hours here and my boys loved it (they are 4 and 7). I could even sit down and see them at all times. Two of the big slides were not turned on, so me and my little one went on the only big one available. This waterpark gave a discounted rate of $35 a person. However, there was only 1 waterslide working, the hot tub was broken and Jungle falls was shut down on day 2 of being at the water park. The website should include a list of broken rides so that buyers know what to expect. There was also a 50 minute wait for overpriced food and many of the bathrooms were out of order. read more

Great place. My husband and I took out 11 yr old son, 3 yr old grandson and our 6 yr old granddaughter and they had a great time. Lots of fun in the water park, wave pool, slides, little kiddie area. The food was pricey but everything tastes good. Hot dogs, fries, chicken sandwiches. There was pizza available and other items. We all loved this water park and had a great day! H2Oooohh is a great example of what happens when marketing and sales take a severe departure from the reality of a product. The water park does have water; unfortunately, none of it is in any of the hot tubs the park falsely advertises as operational. Where there is water, it's a very cool 77°, which is a great air temperature, but cold for water. The park advertises three water slides, only one of which is running, and it isn't the fun one. What happened? H2Ooohh appears to be a failed experiment in attaching an indoor water park to a time share development. Time share owners are forever trying to either get rid of their time shares or reduce the annual maintenance costs they're obligated to pay for the rest of their lives. No doubt the cost of upkeep for a water park they are free to enjoy for all of one week a year was among the first cuts every owner targeted after their first maintenance bill showed up in the mail. As a result, here we are, years later, with a cold, barely functioning water park that our kids almost enjoyed for about ten minutes. (I did add an extra star to my one-star review because the surf machine was working, though only for short periods due to understaffing.) read more

I would rate it a 0 but that's not possible so I give it a 1. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a waterpark in my life. I used to come here as a kid all the time and I would get sick after EVERYTIME. Now fast forward a few years later I have decided to give it another chance. I was looking foward to stepping in the nice warm hot tub but guess what. It was closed. Along with the 2/3 water slides and play gym. On top of that the water in the pool was colder than the water I shower with. This place is a complete waste of money that no one should spend . We said yes we would still like to go in and there was only 1 slide open out of 5 slides, but they originally said that only 2 were down! Also they did not mention that the hotub was broken too! I can't say anything about it because we didn't go because only ride open was wave pool. The day before only 2 rides were open. I'm told two slides are never in operation. The resort itself has had the pools closed multiple times by the health department for murky water.So i'm connie glad we didn't go. read more

My daughter's family and I spent an extended weekend in the Pocono Mountains in Spring 2023. We spent 3-4 hours at H2O water park. The park was clean and not at all crowded. My 2 grandsons, ages 10 and 14, were a little bored. But my 6 year old granddaughter loved the water park. There were 2 working water slides on this day. She wanted to go on the water slides-but was too scared to go by herself. My family and I waited by at the water slide exit pool for a double swimming tube. However, there were only about 5 or 6 double tubes. As we waited, we realized that the double tubes were being hoarded by the same late teenage/young adult men. There was no lifeguard or employee at the water park to enforce any standard courtesy to allow others to take their turn with the double tubes. After waiting about 25"-30", we gave up and took my granddaughter to the other areas of the water park. We returned to the exit pool every now and then, but the double tubes were still not available. I would make some suggestions to improve the water park. First, H2O should purchase more double tubes. It would be helpful to have a sign stating that the water slide riders are to hand in their double tubes as they exit the water slide area, so that other people may use them. Have a lifeguard available to handle any disputes. It seems ironic that at this water park, designed for CHILDREN under 12, were disappointed because of a small group of ADULTS who were not willing to share the double tubes. read more

I'll update to a higher rating if they start heating the temp of the water! Soooo cold. Camel backs Aquatopia and Kalahari resorts both have 84 temp water. It's January and less than 15 degrees at the Poconos. You think an indoor water park would have decent temp. We were all freezing. There was one small hot tub (other one out of order) which was colder than my bath water. 42 inches to ride the slide or boogie board / surf ride. Other than that there's a gentle wave pool, basketball nets in water, little kid pool area with fountains and slide for 2 & under, a leap frog area, and then a play structure area with buckets of water that fall on you. It's $38 or $25 for twilight (last 4 hours) for above 42'' or $33 and $20 under. 2 and under free. They have bathing suits you can purchase in gift shop. Locker rentals $8-$10 but a lot of people just keep true it belongings on their chairs. They serve alcohol and food options - hot dogs, pretzels, Mac and cheese etc. I have a rental property in lake Harmony so I've been a couple times (and they have 15% discounts for timeshare guests). Coupons online and on Groupon too. But now that I looked up temps of the other water parks, I'll just do the drive and actually enjoy the waterpark next time. My kids couldn't even last an hour and a half bc we were so cold. read more

This place is great for the price. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights on Presidents' Day weekend and paid $410 total. The water park is worn, but again, it was worth the price. I will say that 2 of the 3 water slides are broken. I was told by employees that they have been broken for a while. The drink were a little pricey, but I brought my own. Just sneak a soft sided cooler in. The pizza was reasonable and easy to feed my kid. Get there early to get chairs or tables, if not....good luck waiting. Surfing thing was really cool. I would go back again in a heartbeat. If you have been to the other local water parks before, this place will probably disappoint as its only 1/4 the size of Kalahari. read more

This place needs upkeep. Only one slide was open when we went. The wave pool barely makes waves. Towels are not provided for use and they do not sell towels to purchase, so bring your own or air dry. Staff are nice though. read more

I went to H20 waterpark yesterday with my 2 year old and we had such a great time. It was hard getting him out of there at closing time!! The waterpark was clean, safe & had so much to do for all ages. It is also super affordable which is a plus. The supervisor Sal C made our experience top notch. The park itself is a lot of fun, but the amenities are pretty terrible, even dangerous. 1. The dangerous part - the showers are too hot and would burn a toddler. 2. The changing rooms are ridiculously small and near impossible to use with a toddler. 3. Half the showers are not working. read more

On a rainy day when all indoor Waterparks were booked, this one was available and we were skeptical. However this place is good for the price. What they charge is fair given the size and accommodations. It's a small indoor water park, very clean with lots of lifeguards on duty. We had a great time, it kept our preteen and a toddler pretty entertained for 4 hours. Food and lockers were fairly priced compared to Kalahari. I took out a star because we were not able to use the hot tub which was booked for the hotel guests. I know I am being a bit picky and unfair, lol. Also, the water temperature could have been warmer. Been here a couple of times now. Has always had a decent crowd, but not CROWDED. Yes there's only 2 slides, but the lines typically move pretty quickly. They also have the boogie board / water ski thing that other places have HUGE lines to the point that it doesn't make sense. Here, the line moved quickly so you were able to enjoy your wipeouts. lol The only complaint I have is their tidal wave pool had floating bits of algae. Well if you do plan on coming, get here when it opens because they got to max capacity fairly quickly (within an hour). I was upset because we bought a Groupon and traveled to get here so it was pretty frustrating. Apparently this is popular location in the winter. After killing time in the arcade, we came back and luckily we were let in. There are very few lockers and not enough chairs in the place (although there are *those people* who take up a bunch of chairs with their stuff and never actually use the chairs) so if you aren't lucky enough to find a tiny locker, you'll have to put it on the ground somewhere since you clearly won't get a chair either. The lockers are tiny and like $6 so that was disappointing. It's a place you can spend maybe 2-3 hours in and in the winter, it's a refreshing change of pace. A lot of the space seemed aimed at kids with a big jungle gym and the wave pool play area. There are 3 slides that are pretty fun and the line moves quickly on those. It's not going to satisfy like an outdoor park, but when the temperatures are in the negatives, it's fun to try but maybe not hurry back to once tried. Make sure to bring your own towels. I think their site says you can't bring food in but they don't check, so I recommend bringing some snacks and water because their stuff is overpriced and there was a long line. read more

Meh. Just meh. It was fine for the 5 and 3 year olds we had with us, and the water slides and surfing area were great. Everything else was...lackluster. It was insanely dark in there and the kids kept saying it was creepy (and the adults agreed). The pools were all dilapidated, needed paint and just felt dirty. My brother in law went to move a table closer, since we had a big group, and the top wasn't connected all the way and sliced his fingers and knuckles fairly deeply. If you need something to do on a rainy day, I guess this place isn't the worst option in the world, but it was also far from the best. read more

Don't bother. Seriously. This place does not live up to the hype on the commercials. It is very VERY small. Your kid will not be entertained for more than an hour or two. There are only four slides, and there is often a huge line. The "lifeguards" are all children, so watch your kids carefully. The food is overpriced and half-price if you walk outside into the hotel. This place is just wayy too pricey for what you are getting. Do yourself a favor and save the money and use it to go to a real waterpark like camelbeach (just 20mins down the road). My 9 year old son and I had a good time here for 2+ hours. I arrived with low expectations (having read others' reviews) and paid the discounted twilight price. Not crowded at all at 5 pm on President's Day holiday. No lines on most rides. The body/surf-boarding area is intense and fun. We spent over an hour here. Challenging for kids and teenagers. The biggest "family" waterslide had only 1 "family" tube operating. Staff told me that the other "family" tube popped and they were expensive to replace. Seriously? Wave pool is a joke - "ripple" pool would be more accurate. Water and air temperature were warm - probably 85 degree water and 80 degree air. We were there on a warmer winter day - outside temp was in the mid-40's - I wonder if that helped. Air quality though was poor. The chlorine filled air definitely irritated our eyes. Locker room floors are an unsanitary mess. Avoided the horrible looking fast food. Bring your own towels to save $. read more

It's a nice indoor water park for family getaway!! We went there to spend time with our niece and stayed for two nights. I'm more an outdoorsy person but for kids the indoor seems safer from the intense UV lights haha. When out of the water, you would feel cold and I shivered a little. Plus the water was cold too. The price was okay price. Few slides, water surfing, jacussi, water basketball, wave pool, and there was umbrella waterfall (that's the name I told my niece lol). Not a fan of their food tho!! Wish they could make some improvements of the quality of their food. The chicken nuggets we bought were so hard that my niece just had one bite and then she was done with it. The pizza, hmmm. Well, we had no choice but to buy their food because we were hungry while playing and lazy to go up to our hotel room to eat. Alert, no outside food or drink allowed inside the waterpark. We went on a Friday, December 9th. We were looking forward to it, and were excited to hear that there were not many people there! We saw many employees there for everyone's safety which was nice. The bad part was that the place was disgusting! While in the wave pool, there was a cup (from the snack bar) floating in the pool. No one picked it up, so I did and gave it to the lifeguard to dispose of. When we went up the stairs to the slides there was a lot of trash including a band-aid, a piece of paper and a hair tie. I watched the lifeguards change their shifts at least 4 times, and people needed to go up and down the stairs and NO ONE picked up the trash. I dont know that I would go back. H2Oooohh is the water park located in Split Rock. I saw a lot of reviews for Split Rock were about the resort, which wasn't really helpful to my family (who was interested in only in the water park). Admittedly, when we went we had low expectations & expected something rinky dink. We were surprised! The facilities are actually pretty good. The kids in our group ranged from 18 months to 10 years old and several parents. All were pretty happy. The toddler loved the various play areas for youngsters. The older kids enjoyed the wave pool and the various slides (as did the adults!). One area they could improve is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They get a lot of traffic and it shows. They weren't filthy, but not as clean as they could be. read more

Great waterpark! My daughters Girl Scout troop went here. They gave the girls a tour behind the scenes, they also had patches for the girls. It was smaller then I thought but in a good way, it was easy to let the girls run in groups to the different areas and still be able to keep track! Great place to play in the water! read more
