Today is my second visit to this salon, it's super clean and very friendly. But best of all the quality of the nails was outstanding, Moon did my great gel nails fill and made a repair also . And Tiffany did my pedicure today and she gives an outstanding leg and foot massage. She really went the extra mile to fill my acrylic nails on my feet then give me a pedicure. I will be returning as often as I'm in town. read more

Updating my review to re-emphasize how amazing this place is! Let's talk about loyalty-- since moving back home to Georgia, I have not found a nail salon that excels in every category like H2K does. Because of this, I decided to fly to MSY for one day just to get my nails done here. I arrived in town at 9:50am and was gone by 5:30pm. The caliber of customer service and quality work provided here at H2K is unmatched, and I'd take a day trip to get my nails done again! This time, it was necessary as I did not want to potentially have my birthday nails messed up by somewhere else. I'm grateful for Ceci and her amazing work, as well as the young man who did a great job on my pedicure (I can't remember his name). H2K has a lifetime customer in me! read more

Made an appointment for the gel mani & pedi. No wait time. They were plenty techs available. The atmosphere was friendly as always, clean areas. They offered refreshments. The tech checked the water temp for my pedi to ensure my comfort. I picked a different nail design for my bday. They were accommodating and checked in during my visit. I've received plenty of compliments since. Recommend their services. read more

I have been looking for a salon closer to home and after a few rough encounters I think I found my go-to! Not only were they super accommodating and sweet, they outdid themselves on my dip mani. One nail tech started the mani and dip, while another hopped in to complete the design I asked for, which she imitated perfectly from the picture I showed! I will absolutely be back and am grateful to find a salon I look forward to going back to! read more

You know you are are no longer a native when you walk in the salon and ask for a "no chip" manicure and everyone inside looks confused. Initially, I assumed my accent was the barrier, I later learned no one in Nola calls it that. It's a midwestern term. Shellac or Gel manicure = no chip. I came to this realization after spending some time talking with one of the nail technicians when the difference in terminology was pointed out in a lighthearted way. When I was asked if I were from the area, I answered I am but I live out of state and, a different tech blurted out, "I knew it because you said no chip!". As I laughed with my mouth wide open, several other patrons said they wondered what I was asking for. And so, despite having absolutely no idea what I was asking for, I was politely offered to choose a color and I was serviced immediately on a Friday afternoon 2/16/18) with a pretty decent size crowd inside. I loved the finished product and it was done in less time than I expected. Now, it is certainly not the fanciest salon you've ever seen, but their service and quality certainly makes up for it. And, I was given a small box of chocolate as a parting gift. If I ever find myself visiting and in need of a shellac manicure, this would be my go to place. read more

Omg I think I just found my new favorite nail salon! I made an appt for 11 and they were pretty good with getting me in by 11:05. I got a full set with designs and gel. Let me start by saying, they are quick! I mean I was expecting to be there well into an hour pushing two. No, she got me in and out in an hour and it would've been less but she did have to stop a few times to assist other places. They do have covid precautions in place. Personally, I would have preferred to have been more spaced out from the next person but besides that they are doing everything! Temp checks, hand washing, shields between you and them and MASKS.. (wearing them correctly as well)! They were also had really well customer service so I'm excited to come back. read more

Always friendly and accommodating. The quality is by far the best in the area for powder dip nails. Pedicures are a must here as well.

I thought the gelicure price was very reasonable, and the girl was efficient. It didn't take too long, and she did a great job. The staff are wearing masks, but they don't have to. read more

Well.. Unfortunately this is not a place I would recommend . Lets start with the hygiene it was good, place look tidy and was organized. I was treated with respect and the environment was pleasant. Paid for pedi and mani. Pedi was okay but I paid for extra services which in my opinion is not worth it for 4 extra minutes. He also didn't clean out my toes like im use to barely call it a pedicure .My mani was a disappointment the technician started by cleaning out the areas but unfortunately he took away to much which resulted in 2 nails hurting . Today is my fifth day and they all already peeling off. I ask for a simple gel french and was not pleased after seeing the peeled after the 3 rd day. I spend 97$ and truly very dissatisfied. read more

I go here every other week for pretty pretty princess day. I've been to so many nail salons in town and have always been disappointed with the results. I am also very prone to infection. This is the only place I have ever been and it's never happened. Not once. I love going here. I am treated like part of their family. Do yourself a favor and hop on over and experience what it's like to be cared for. They want to heal what hurts you. You feel that. I cannot recommend this place enough. I've brought all my friends here and they keep going back. Ten stars!! read more

The staff is very friendly & will take care of you. I got a mimosa while receiving services. I went with a gel manicure and a pedicure from 2 diff ppl at the shop. The gel looked nice, but I could tell the nail artist was new because she made it so thick that it peeled off in a week!! (Supposed to last at LEAST 2) so, that was disappointing. The pedicure was amazing, the guy did them ( didn't catch his name) and it lasted forever! My toes looked great, would definitely go back for a pedicure. Not the gel. read more

Contacted when I was about 45 minutes away. Very friendly. Took me right away. I was running late and still accommodated me. I was happy to have the same person doing both my mani and my pedi. They were very accommodating as far as scheduling the appointment and fitting me in. Upon my arrival they were very busy but seemed to provide all of their clients with the service they required. I wanted a powder dip with tips and pedicure however the nail technician indicated that due to the natural curve on my nail bed it would look bulky and not appear attractive. This was disappointing because I've gotten that service completed at a different salon with no issues. The pedicure was completed first and the color selected would match the power dip selection previously chosen. With the switch in services the color no longer was a perfect match but the next best thing similar to the selection on my toes. The tech instead completed a full set with gel nail however within 3 days I had already began to experience issues... 3 nails were already broken. It was a waste of $90 dollars! I was attempting to try out a new establishment though initially hopeful turned out to be an epic fail . read more

Deceptive - told them we had plans in an hour they sat us in the pedicure chairs with water then didn't work on us for 1/2 hour. Then without asking they charged for the most expensive service which took more time and made us late. All of this when they were told up front we had plans and had to be finished by a certain time. read more

I was in search of a nail shop bc both of my shops in Laplace were damaged due to IDA. I ALWAYS read reviews before I spend my money anywhere, I looked up their shop and they had great reviews! So, I decided that I would go. I arrived at opening time and walked in. I was not greeted when I walked in, she looked like she had just woken up and looked at me funny. (It was 9:30am) So, I was like ok...it took her at least a whole 2-3 mins to even acknowledge my existence and ask me what services I wanted. I did not make an appointment bc it said that walk-ins were accepted and I figured if I arrived early I would beat the rush. When she finally asked me what I wanted I said "Hi, I would like a pedicure + dip manicure". Her first question was "Did you make an appointment?" I said "No." This is what she said in exact words... "You have to wait until more people come in and then we'll figure out IF we can see you..." This response was VERY off-putting bc firstly you were rude. She didn't look at me when I was talking and turned her back to me. Secondly, you're telling me that I have to wait however long then you MIGHT have time to service me. My time is valuable as well. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or if she was aggravated that I did not make an appointment. I sat down on the bench inside the shop and started looking for other places, I found another one down the street (Beyond Nails & Spa) they did an amazing job, I was greeted when I entered the building (she was very enthusiastic) pretty much everyone screamed "Good Morning!" when I walked-in and it did not take long for me to be seated. Beyond was an example of how I, as a paying customer want to be treated. One thing I will not do is spend my money where I don't feel I will receive good service. Not saying that this is a bad shop bc apparently they do great work but unfortunately based off of this experience I will not be returning. read more
