I recently relocated to Las Vegas and needto find a new auto mechanic for maintenance on my Lexus RX350. I needed an oil change and I did need my rear brakes to be replaced I dropped off my car and they did the inspection and let me know the costs. There was no pressure and not pushy at all. Also they do tire alignment which I find a lot of mechanics don't offer and refer you to a tire place. Overall my experience was great Also this location is right across the street from a med spa (Advanced Aesthetics) If you are a woman needed to get you car fix, I would recommend getting a facial across the street while you wait for your car lol read more

Made an appointment for diagnostic service on my car. they said it is $140.00 for an 1 hour diagnostic, i said ok. The day of the appointment i receive a phone call at 5:30 am saying 1 of their staff has a family emergency and they need to cancel, i said ok. i call back today to re-schedule, they say they will not re-schedule because the car is an 1998 (NEVER HAVE EVEN SEEN THE CAR) I mention that the car was already booked with the knowledge it is an 1998 Nissan Maxima I was told it takes to long to diagnose an old car and parts are hard to obtain!? I mention that A; any part for a Nissan can be purchased, and B; at $140.00 an hour, is that not enough per hour? Still turned down, in retrospect i believe I was lucky read more

I was a solid and loyal customer to this place for years. I was even a loyal customer to Pete before he started the business, but I've noticed a decline in the quality of work as the business grew throughout the years. The most recent and last incident with them was with my Acura TL when Bernard recommended to have the spark plugs replaced along with my request to have the timing belt replaced. A day after the replacement, i noticed that the car wouldn't start properly like it was low on battery in an intermittent pattern, but i knew that wasnt it since the battery was new. I informed Bernard, the front desk guy, of the issue that it has something to do with the last big job they did because the ignition issue started a day after they worked on the car, but all he said is to come back when it stays consistent or get worse. That didnt help at all. I kept reminding them of the issue as months went by as I came back for regular minor maintenance, but they did nothing. A warning light finally came on a year and half later and they said it's something about the valves and wanted to charge me 1600 to get them replaced, and of course I said hell no. Fauling probably built up in there since something was not reinstalled properly and I wanted them to take responsibility for their negligence, but of course, they were too prideful. They did something to my car that even until now, 3 years later, it still has the intermittent start up issue. Even the new and much better car shop that i now go to had difficulty diagnosing the issue because htech messed something up in there bad. The new car shop at least was able to find that the timing belt was one teeth off, which somewhat helped with the intermittent start up issue, but there's still some lingering start up issue left. Htech workers damaged my baby permanently and did not want to admit fault, and Bernard was even balls brazen enough to gaslight me by accusing me of using low quality non premium gas for my premium only car which might have caused the issue, which is of course incorrect because I keep all receipts for the premium gas I filled the car with. I have never used low quality fuel for my acura. I even periodically buy additives to keep the car running smooth. Pete himself is a great and skilled mechanic, but his team needs more training. His front desk guy definitely needs to quit the gaslighting and manipulation. I like Pete but I will no longer be returning. They lost a loyal customer who never asks for discounts. My father was good friends with Pete but always asks for discounts. I personally pay the asking price since I respect small businesses. All I wanted a the same respect back. My car functioned better before they took it apart for that big job. Thats how I deduced and isolated the issue back to them. Hopefully, they learn from their mistakes because this is not good for business. I would tolerate mistakes like this but it's the pridefulness and gaslighting that really pushed me away. read more

I called H-Tech Auto to see if they do oil changes for a Lexus RX350. Thomas answered the phone and let me know that they do, so I asked to see what times were available, the cost, and the estimated time it will take. They had a 9:00am slot opened the next day which I booked. I arrived at 9:00am and they had me fill out a short single page form and took my vehicle in. The estimated time was 45 minutes, which is how long it ended up taking. The cost was exactly what they said. They also did a 36 point inspection and went over the results with me. They gave me the recommended repairs along with the cost for each one without any pressure whatsoever to get it done through them. I informed them(at this point Pete the owner was in the room) that I would be getting my brakes done somewhere else, which they were not offended one bit by which I really appreciate. I had already agreed with another company beforehand to use them. Overall I was very pleased with the fair price and how fast they did the job compared to the dealership(it never fails that I wait 2+ hours at Lexus) and they actually took my car in at 9:00am, the actual appointment time. This never happens at the dealership. I will be bringing my vehicle here for future oil changes. Thank you H-Tech Auto for making this a smooth and quick process. read more

We just moved here from AZ and looking for a reliable mechanic, and I thought oil change is a good start. Found this place from Yelp, it's a small shop surrounded by other shops. It barely has enough space to wait inside, and the parking situation is not better either. The mechanic was nice enough to take over my parking situation (lack thereof) and get my car in the shop fairly quickly. I had my check engine light checked out at Autozone and they told me it was the knock sensor and a few other things so I called these guys and asked for a quote. They told me those CEL reads are sometimes wrong and to bring it in to properly access it and that they couldn't just quote me over the phone. Turns out, it WAS the knock sensor and autozone was right. So basically, I got charged $120 for something that Autozone did for free beforehand. And before they respond with "we check for everything else", I never asked you to check anything else. I just wanted to you to check the knock sensor and diagnose that part. read more

This company will hold grudges, and deny you service for petty reasons out of your control. In December 2019, I was coming home from work and ended up swerving onto the curb, and bending a lower control arm. The car would not drive straight. I brought it in. These guys put it on a lift, and quoted me their price. They gave me a full rundown of everything they will do to the car to get it driving straight again. Everything up to this point was fair. I could not afford it because they were using new oem parts, but this was my car to get to work. I can't just sit here with a broken car and get fired because I couldn't make it to my job reliably. I had no choice but to go over to my Uncle and he got it fixed, and he did the most backyard mechanic worth of work ever, but he got it running straight. Months later, my car had starting problems. (At this point in time, I had the money to get it fixed no matter the cost.) I called H-Tech to replace the starter, told them I am bringing in a part, and they even agreed to use it. When I came back, they told me to not come back because I had my Uncle fix my car. I did not bother to argue because this was the first time I've ever heard a business getting bothered because I could not afford their service (in the past). This is really unprofessional, and I advise most people who want work to be DONE to take their car somewhere else. read more

This is a very professional and knowledgeable auto shop. They got me in quickly, diagnosed the issues on my Acura MDX and it was finished within a day. Don't hesitate to take your vehicle here. A previous shop told my daughter that the car had an oil leak that would cost around $600 to fix. These guys found the problem, and replaced a couple of gaskets for less than $100 bucks. I have finally found a trustworthy local mechanic in Vegas! I have been getting sick of being ripped off by my Honda dealer service team and have been looking for a honest and reliable local mechanic to service my 2015 civic. When my rear driver side window stopped responding I decided to take it in to H-Tech auto based on their amazing yelp reviews and was glad I was not disappointed. I called in and spoke with Thomas who was very transparent about estimate pricing up front and scheduled an appointment for me. I dropped off my car and got a call later with the good news that the window was just stuck and there wasn't anything wrong with the window regulator so they were not going to recommend replacing it. This transparent honesty really impressed me as I know many dealers can easily still say they need to replace it to fix the window. H-tech has won me over as a lifelong customer with their honesty. My ac isn't working good at all and so I took my car here and unfortunately because I have an Acura it needed a special part and it is expensive so I told them that I will definitely come back when the time is right. Although I wasn't able to fix my AC they were very nice and very helpful they even temporarily fixed the ac just to get me by for now I thought that was very nice of them. I had been a Wally's Honda devotee for many years, but after they changed their logo a few years ago, the prices kept going higher and higher past the Honda dealer prices. It was found that my radiator fan was broken; Wally's quoted $500 and H Tech Auto quoted $255. If I were going to Wally's, I planned to wait for several hours. But at H Tech Auto, my car was in and out within 30 minutes. I feel the guys here are honest and do great work. Will be coming here from now on. Went in for a diagnostic and was charged their standard but high compared to other mechanic shops. I figured I give them a try thinking their price was quality work. I dropped my vehicle and they lead me to believe it may take some time so I arranged a ride back home. After a hour from dropping off my car they called me back in saying my alternator and water pump needs to be replaced immediately and also that my axles and struts/shocks need to be replaced asap as well. They quoted me $1900 to replace alternator and $2500 for front axles, struts/shocks. The price was too high for me to afford at that moment so I called another mechanic to get a second opinion and it turned out my alternator was completely fine and just needed to replace pulleys connected to alternator. I've been driving about 2 months now from my diagnostic from h-tech auto without any issues. With that being said i feel safe to say their diagnostic was fast but disturbingly inaccurate. I fixed my issue less than the $4500 they quoted me. This shop up charges estimates unnecessarily to customers so not trustworthy mechanics in my honest opinion.
