Rows and rows and shelves and shelves and three levels (no elevator, by the way) add up to space for a lot of stuff. Appliances, cutting boards, candles, jams, aprons, pottery, lots of wood products made in their store on the premises. And we've scarcely touched the range of stuff here. We should caution visitors that the pricers are not on the cheap side. The quality seems high, but so are most of the prices (look for sale items). That said, if you;re a kitchen fan, this is a very entertaining stop. It's in the vicinity of Dorset not far from Manchester but not a location you just likely to stumble upon (although that's what we did). And set aside some serious time to browse here; the stock is worth it.

Today my mother and I decided to finally enter the store hoping we would find a gift for my sister. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet deigns. One piece resonated as my sister has a phobia of Frogs and I came across a little plate with a frog on it. I then said out loud "Stephanie will love this! It will be a funny joke!" I want to also add that upon entering I gave the owner of the store multiple complements. Once I said the above comment, the owner felt it necessary to walk over to me as say in an extremely arrogant tone "I really don't want my pieces considered a joke." Both my mother and I were speechless. I immediately tried to reassure her that it was a joke between my sister and I and had nothing to do with her pieces as clearly, I loved them. My mother and I then left right away as this left a sour taste in our mouths. I also then thought "why am I reassuring the store owner over a piece I was about to purchase"? In conclusion, I am appalled by the lack of customer service, arrogance and nerve of this store owner. I was about to purchase a few pieces in the store, but I immediately lost my appetite upon being addressed in such a rude and unnecessary way. I was told my work would be showcased in-store, sold as merchandise, and promoted as part of a long-term collaboration. I was promised fair compensation. Over the following months, I created more than 60 original paintings--pouring thousands of hours into a project I was proud of. I was reassured repeatedly that payment and rollout were coming. I believed them. I waited. And then--nothing. Despite multiple invoices and months of respectful follow-ups, I was never paid. Eventually, I was ghosted entirely. No explanation. No apology. No accountability. This wasn't just financial--it was personal. This project was supposed to support my daughter and help our family through a difficult year. Instead, I was left feeling humiliated and erased. Silver Therapeutics markets itself as a community-minded, ethical business. But no ethical business treats local artists like this--especially not those who show up in good faith, create with care, and uphold their end of the agreement. I've reported this to the Vermont Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I'm sharing my story not out of bitterness, but so that other local creators and small businesses can be aware--and protect themselves before investing their time, talent, and trust.
