When a veterinary hospital shows so little care for a family member's final arrangements and the handling of their remains, it raises serious concerns about the level of compassion within the overall practice. I recently tried making an arrangement to pick up my cat's prescription medication only to be told on the phone by a woman that they're not going to allow me to pick up medication unless I make an appointment to get X-rays and injections for my cat-you know, extra expenses that are costly that I can't afford right now nor that my cat really needs since they've been bouncing back extremely well on the medication alone. The prices are also very steep here. $100 just for walking in the door for the appointment. It's literally a $400 expense everytime you make an appointment here because they get insistent on tacking on expenses. The visitations become less about real animal welfare and more about squeezing every last dollar out of you.

She makes last minute appointments when needed and always makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing. She gives real advice that fit my needs and my dogs needs. I always know what treatment is occurring and the cost I am facing before treatment. I have boarded my dog there multiple times and she has always come back happy. My dog has a nervous gnawing at her paw, often becomes raw and bleeds when I'm away. Each time she has stayed there she hasn't had it happen which means she is comfortable there! Most importantly, after my military discount, the free package of necessities, and the same day appointment, I had the breeder come out to show me how to keep my little boy as bright white and clean as when I received him. Each of the dogs I saw were bright white, well groomed, I reviewed the AKC, CKC purebred pedigree registrations, all vaccination and vet records were in order, I even asked about the cray to prove each Maltese had four to five puppies a litter. Received services back in June to assist in training my JRT. Training was 80% talk. Talking about what BB stands for...theory about being the alpha and making noises to correct a dog's behavior. The techniques are so antiquated. Other trainers I have worked with can't believe I went to Bark Busters for help. Working with other trainers has actually led to results. Results I was hoping to see from BB. What really gets me is that after the 2 sessions, I have never heard from Bark Busters. Not the company, nor the trainer. I guess they do not stand by their word or contract. Like Steve Miller sang, " Go on and take the money and run". I will never ever recommend Bark Busters. For those of you who have had success, cheers. Our experience..or lack of...was very underwhelming to say the least.

Lee is an amazing dog trainer. I've had and loved dogs my entire life but I've never had any so…read morewell behaved as the two that Lee has helped us to train. My husband and I adopted 2 black labs that were bred to be working dogs for TSA. The dogs didn't make the cut so we adopted a brother and sister when they were one year old. We've now had them four months and what Lee has done and taught us to do is beyond believable. When we brought the dogs home they had never been in a house, only in a kennel their entire life. They were not potty trained, were not good on the leash, and didn't know even the basic commands such as sit, stay, come. They barked in their crates non stop and would go potty in the house AFTER being brought in from outside. The male dog would not look us in the face and was afraid of the garage and the car and had to be picked up and put in the car for vet visits. He was 60 plus pounds at the time so needles to say he only went to the vet when my husband or sons could put him in the car. We phoned Lee and that's the best call we've every made. He came into the room and his presence alone prompted very different behavior in our furry babies. He worked with them, taught us to work with them, answered my emails usually within an hour or so, but always the same day, and has had several follow up visits. Every single visit with Lee resulted in marked improvement. Fast forward four months to present day and now our guys will go their crates simply by saying "crate". They rarely if every bark in their crates and if so all I have to say is "quiet". They ring a bell on the door when they need to go potty. They don't bark at the neighbors any longer. They sit, stay and come. Walking them on a leash is easy easy easy now. They go through the garage and jump into the car now. The icing on the cake is that now when the doorbell rings they bark, but when I say "It's ok", they go sit at the top of the landing on the stairs. The male dog not only looks us in the face now but brings big sloppy kisses all the time! They are loving, confident, secure and a source of pure joy to us. They are so well behaved that they had their first visit to the dog park yesterday and did beautifully. A man was passing out hot dog bites to the dogs and they were jumping and climbing all over him. Our sweet girl sat in the middle of them and waited for him to give her a bite...no jumping, climbing, barking, just sitting beautifully until it was her turn. Our dogs would not be as happy and we would not be as happy if we had not phoned Lee at Bark Busters to help us. It's a joy to watch him train the dogs. It's obvious he has a true love of animals and our dogs love their time with him.
