I usually give any company grace because we're all humans and things happen, but the product quality and service through curbside has gotten out of hand. What used to be one bad product out of the order every once in a while has turned into almost the whole order being bad. Fragile food items broken because they're not handled with care, produce items and perishables rotten and beat up, and meat products that aren't even visually appetizing. We don't live close enough to the heb to be going back and forth returning everything after making a run into town, and we check what we get there at the store. With checking our stuff, we give it a look over because we're trusting that we're getting good quality stuff and the right stuff. The last 3 times during these holiday times, they put more effort into bagging our items in a way to purposely hide the spoiled or bad products which is just very sad. Wish they put that same effort into selecting good quality products and having good quality products in the store. Last order, deli meats and cheeses were literally slimy and had an odor. Not sure if they were left out of the case too long then just packaged up or put away. This order, our meats were either old then packaged, or left out of refrigeration. Purchased 3 days ago, and they were bagged with extra bags and the nasty spoiled meat on bottom of the nice good fresh looking meat. Slimy and odor to the meat. Supposedly they select items as if they were the customer, but I don't know what customer would look at an item that clearly has signs of being spoiled, I.e. discoloration and packaging having pressure from gases being released, and choose to purchase said item. Very disappointing.

Definately was over due, H-E-B prides itself on quality products at an incredible value! Offering fresh produce, deli, seafood, sushi and meat department, it is the one stop shop store for most of your shopping needs and the prices are just as low as Walmart but way better quality and variety makes everything here better. This new store was opened on 7/17/15 and is the second store to open in Odessa. There's a plus including an inside restaurant True Texas BBQ located in the store offering fresh bbq choices eat in or to go and also a Wells Fargo branch and ATMs. This location also offers H-E-B Fuel including diesel and is in all a very clean and spacious store not to mention friendly employees and low wait time on the check out lanes. I live near the first H-E-B on 42nd however anytime I'm on this side of town and in need of some groceries I'll be sure and stop at this H-E-B #711!

This H-E-B is certainly better than no H-E-B…read more I've only recently discovered the glory of this chain grocery store in the past year. This Odessa, TX, location is conveniently located on 42nd Street. It is always crowded. The usual cons were experienced on Good Friday 2024: - limited baskets (grabbed one from parking lot) - crowded aisles - boxes and crates in the middle of the produce section (with no employees in sight) which created several bottlenecks - checkout lines moved slow when I was there at around 5:15PM - people can't park between the parking lot lines - sloth-like pedestrians who refuse to look at drivers... why y'all do that? - I hate how absurdly fast most Texans drive, then how stupidly slow others drive especially when exiting on the Grandview Ave side. Our shopping prices: - Morton & Bassett dried sage ($6.58) - Salt lick chicken seasoning ($3.98) - HCF turkey stuffing mix ($.93) - Stovetop chicken stuffing mix ($2.48) - Krusteaz natural cornbread mix ($2.14) - HEB natural boneless chicken breasts ($10) - Reddy 7-lb bag of ice ($2) - yellow onion ($1.38 per pound) - celery ($1.28) - Swanson natural chicken broth ($2.52) Pros: + mostly friendly customers + fast cashier, but why two grocery baggers? Seemed like overkill. + I really like their H-E-B line... more affordable than other bigger name products & just as good

I called the store and the shift manager expects me to bring the packaging and my receipt to give me a refund, REALLY the meat is rotten it smelled so bad, I even rinsed it off with water thinking maybe it was the packaging, NOPE it was the meat!! I had to throw it all outside in the dumpster and now she expects me to go outside and get the packaging out of my trashcan and bring it to her with the receipt before they can give me a refund! And not only that, I live completely on the other side of town. Horrible customer service‼ I will never buy MEAT there again

The meat in here is probably one grade above what is served to prisoners. There is a smell that has been in the store since the last grocery store in this location closed. It smells like a spoiled gallon of milk that they still haven't been able to find. Most of the products are off-brand of questionable origin. But, I guess the welfare cheats have to have some place to shop. Also, they don't bag the groceries for you (even though I've been to some stores in the DFW metroplex that do). They'll charge like 15 cents per bag and you have to bag them yourself or scrounge through empty boxes to find one that just might hold your stuff. Do yourself a favor and go to another store.

This morning my husband went to pick up a 6 pack of Odouls (non-alcohol) beer…read more My husband was trying to put in his reward number, when he was approached by Peggy the front end manager. Instead of offering to help him with his code, she asked him how much he had to drink this morning. He explained that he was completely sober and this was non alcohol beer. She questioned his truthfulness and refused to let him make his purchase. She stated that he was wobbly. He told her that he walks a little different because he has had a stroke. But instead of giving my husband the benefit of the doubt. She doubled down and embarrassed him in front of other shoppers by telling him... he could come back in a few hours and purchase his non-alcohol beer. This occurred at the United Supermarket at North West County rd and West University.

I made my way around the store and stocked up the cart, check out was quick and the cashier was very courteous, overall friendly employees, clean store, and quality groceries which make this visit a great one at Albertsons Market...your in for something fresh!
