Huge signature HEB with excellent customer service. As you enter to left of store there are making seafood with wine tastings by the produce area. Very easy to find way around the store and we'll organized. Came in for a few items and was happy to see how fresh their produce was . Would return.

I love Heb but the last 2 times I bought sandwich tray for my gue, it was nothing inside it , it was so embarrassing, I had guests and all the sandwiches was kind of em, this only happened in westhiemer location I always bought from sugarland and they are great .

H‑E‑B is my kind of store. This place has an out of the world deli. They also offer many choices for organic and vegan food that my fave yelpie recommends. If it wasn't for the 80s music playing throughout the store and the huge selectionOf organic and healthy fruits and vegetables I wouldn't drive this far for my shopping needs. Plenty of parking good customer service and managers they will help you find whatever you need even if they are out of stock.

Your friendly neighborhood HEB. Located near Tanglewood, it's at a fairly busy intersection. The interior is laid out very awkwardly compared to Bunker Hill and Heights, and things were more difficult than needed to find your groceries. Service is friendly!

Still 2 stars. Come here at your own risk on the weekends. Road work around the shopping center here makes this supermarket difficult to get in and out. Almost got ran over by an Ohio plate car on the crosswalk (meant for pedestrians (pedestrians have the right of way)) and stared at me while she almost hit me in the middle of the crosswalk. Area has more transients now since the supermarket moved here from westheimer. Sad thing is that I try to go when it's not busy then they run out of stuff for example weekend or weekday nighttime.

It was my first-time shopping at this H-E-B Store. I was Yelping in the Galleria neighborhood. I had choice of this or Kroger. I chose this due to the distance from where I was. I really wanted to catch sunset because I had an awesome photo at Kroger Store. Not sure how my calculation went, by the time I got here sun was already set. I don't know about you but I always park far away from entrance, when I shop at an unfamiliar place. Okay. So, there I was in the store. There's only one entrance from the parking lot. After the entrance, there's a "lobby" then one door to the right and one door to the left. I'm right-handed, so I walked to the right. It was nice and clean with lots of space. Not knowing that was the end of store layout. I should had entered from the left door. Okay. Okay. Let me think backwards. Produce section is quite fresh. But because I entered from wrong entrance, it feels like I should exit after finish my shopping... Without going through cashier line? No way. What's going on? Because it's a huge store, I would come back one day to go through the right entrance. After I got home to find out one of the 7-up bottle was half empty. No. I'm not going back for that.

A nice H‑E‑B. Good size. Good location. Good selection. The app sometimes gives you sweet freebies. Like literally. I got 18 cookies free from the bakery. I like their chocolate covered espresso beans are tasty, soups, and some of their sushi.

Honestly .. these look like a skin disease! :)

Shame on HEB. While Gov. Abbott said his decision not to mandate people to wear masks supercedes Judge Lina Hidalgo's, business owners can still refuse to allow people to enter a business with no face covering. I was flabbergasted with all the folks not wearing masks at HEB. I was highly upset. HEB had announced that it would require people to wear masks. I asked to see the manager. Bryce came and said they can't enforce it. Excuse me? People think their rights are being violated. Shoppers' personal freedom doesn't outweigh the health and safety of us shoppers who are wearing masks. Shame on HEB not wanting to confront rebels. Those folks should read about all the restrictions being imposed in Spain. While I found the groceries I was looking for at HEB, I left highly disappointed.

So please feel FREE to come and do GROCERY It's easier than learning your ABC It's easier than counting One Two THREE It's easier than being gay in PARIS Than France being invaded by GERMANY Than Cochran declaring you're NOT GUILTY And getting the DA to accept your PLEA It's cheaper than Barbie's hourly FEE It's easier than bribing a FIFA REFEREE It's cheaper than Barbie on a SPENDING SPREE Everything on sale's more than one CALORIE It'll make you get larger, I GUARANTEE And all that OJ you SEE will make you run and PEE And if you have $$$$ you can go on ME But it'll be worth it, or my name's not BAMBI Come and get some juice at HEB WHAT This HEB as hard to get to unless you're already in the Galleria area, which admittedly many people are, but many people doesn't usually include Barbie and I. Not too convenient then, as it's a little ways off of any Highway. Closer to 610, but that road in this section can be a nightmare, and coming up here from 59 can take forever in the daytime. Really, these roads around here are awful. And there are cops shooting radar too. It is next to the gym we used to go to but we stopped because the downtown one is so much better. We used to like to come here late at night shortly before closing, after we got out of Jim, I mean the gym. They usually have some good stuff, but sometimes they're sold out of other stuff that they have more consistently at the other locations we frequent. But this HEB design is really nice and honestly a palace compared to some of the others. Employees have usually been pretty nice to us and pretty decent generally speaking. There are very noticeable exceptions though. Will definitely come back here again in future and it's also a good store for people-watching. Definitely a better crew than some of the others. We stop here when we need to pee Or when we need some grocery The prices aren't low But it's still where we go Because hot girls shop at HEB What?

The parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was easy enough because it was a calm Tuesday morning. To get from the parking area to the store, you just take the elevator one level down, and then you're right inside. This place is surprisingly big, filled with all kinds of snacks, cookies, and coffee. The highlight for me was their shawarma breakfast wrap. It was top-notch and exactly what I needed. You choose between whole wheat or white pita, and it's filled with scrambled eggs, your choice of fresh or sautéed spinach, and they add potatoes as well. Then they top it with shawarma chicken, tomato, and a delicious sauce. For $8.5 it was worth every bite. Hands down, a five out of five. I also tried their coffee, which was just a standard brew sitting in ice for hours and nothing special. At $2.50, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. The real stars were the cookies. I got a coconut pecan cookie and an almond crunch cookie, and both were absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to explore the whole store, but there was a great selection of fresh produce, chocolates, and all sorts of small treats. Overall, the staff were really friendly, and the entire visit was smooth. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Five out of five stars!

My father wanted bakery items for breakfast and settled for the usual Hostess and Hostess-like choices you'd find at, again, a convenience store. However, the gentleman behind the register was pleasant and helpful. A customer came in and while checking out casually mentioned he had a close friend die the day before in a car crash. I know it seems backwards, but you're way less likely to get approached by someone asking you to buy them something. For the record, the store doesn't feel unsafe--homeless unsafe--but sometimes, you just want to grab your groceries in peace. Now, something that never fails to annoy me: one of the entrance doors is always locked. Every time. So you're forced to walk around to the main entrance. Minor, but annoying. Thankfully, the elevators from the garage always work, so silver lining there if you park downstairs. Today I was reminded of another classic Randall's feature: the smell. I stopped in on my bike to grab some veggies and, like clockwork, was hit with that signature aroma, somewhere between a porta-potty and a city park at noon in July. I think it was coming from outside this time... but I've definitely caught a whiff inside before too. Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it so conveniently located that I keep coming back anyway? Also yes. To be fair, the prepared food section and the bread game are on point. If carbs are a love language, this place is fluent. Bonus points: they've added EV charging for our green-driving friends. But I think they shrank some of the parking spots. I watched a jacked-up truck on stilts struggle to park in a handicap space. Waiting for the driver to hop out onto the hood of the next car over.

I grabbed some drinks and snacks, and the variety was just okay but not great either. Maybe it was just because I went at night, but the warm food didn't look very fresh or appealing. But what was their fault? Not actually giving me half of the things I did manage to order! I got home, excited for my stash of groceries, only to realize I had basically made a charitable donation to HEB. No cheese. No sour cream. No coffee. NO MAPLE SYRUP. The donuts? Trash. Stale, lifeless, and the long john with "cream" filling? A cruel joke. Either it never got filled or the cream evaporated from old age. Tried calling the store--no answer. Unfortunately there's only one in the city, but it's "centrally" located (get the pun?) off Westheimer and 610 near the Galleria. We frequent this grocery store a few times a month, and though the products are more expensive overall than your normal Kroger or HEB, the selection is amazing and worth the visit. Here's what I love about Central Market: the produce, salads, sandwiches, meats, seafood, wine, cereal, yogurts, bread, coffee, ice cream, spices - actually pretty much everything. Even their flowers are incredible. Now here are some pro tips; listen carefully: - if you want the real, full CM experience, go on a Saturday or Sunday. You'll feel like you're at Costco waiting in line for samples and trying to push your cart without running someone over. But if you want a quiet, peaceful experience, go on a weekday during the day. You have to work, you say? Take a few hours of vacation or personal time off and head to Central Market. It'll be better than your last few vacations. - they have an app and it's amazing! You can save 20-30% each shopping trip with their offers and coupons. Make sure you add the deals in your app before you go to check out. (This part is a little annoying.) - ice cream section: buy the Hellenika Ube coconut. Just do it. Taste it and you can thank me later. It will change your life. If you want to overpay for it, fly to Seattle and find it at Pike Place Market. - stop buying spices like peppercorn and coriander seeds in bulk that are stored in bottles and jars. Go to Central Market and just buy exactly what you need for your recipe. You'll spend 24 cents for this and 58 cents for that, etc. Not $5 for a jar of spices that will lose its flavor or expire after a year. And the big question everyone asks: Central Market or Whole Foods? Whole Foods has way more locations, but CM takes the cake. It's just amazing. Trust me.
