I work in the area and my boyfriend lives near by we love HEB. The service here is outstanding. The staff is always friendly and willing to help the prices are unbeatable. After all the help H-E-B gave during the last disaster they have me as a loyal costumer! read more

One of the nicer HEB stores, especially since it is so new. I was disappointed that they had to move further from my home, but it's only a few blocks away and in a nicer area, so it feels safer. This place can get rather crowded on any week night and on Sunday's, so beware! The only real complaint I have about this store is that it is laid out in a really confusing way. Not ideal, but it's tolerable. They have a great selection and variety of foods, and a pleasant staff. read more

I regrettably have to write this review as this store was our favorites when we lived in the area. The review does not reflect the store in general only the Floral Department. I was told by a major event planner in Houston that they used HEB for some of their events. So this morning I went in to order Four Dozen Roses for a event I am hosting Friday Morning near this location and after waiting 10 minutes to get the Floral Manager to come to the desk I was informed by her that after speaking to her store manager that they would not be able to get these for me. I was also going to order a balloon bouquet for the event but instead I went to another supermarket close to this location and got my order taken care of. About the only time I have ever been dissatisfied with HEB's service. In our organization we have been trained to raise our hand a little higher when it comes to customer service so this was a real disappointment for me. read more

This has been my favorite grocery store for the past three years. I love HEB in general because of their commitment to selling local Texas products. I always find what I need here, and every cashier I've interacted with has been friendly, even when the store has been busiest (for example, I shopped here the day before Harvey hit. The store was in chaos, but the employees were still helpful and efficient.) I also am a huge fan of their sushi and poke bowls. I'll continue to shop here as long as I live in this area! read more

Poor check out service. No help with bagging our groceries, we had to bag our own while other workers standing around.

First let me say that I generally love Heb and I couldn't wait for this store to open. It's much closer to me than the Bunker Hill store, which is my favorite. However, what a huge disapointment! The layout is awful and the organization of foods is crazy, you will waste lots of time looking for things that aren't grouped with like items as in every other grocery store including their others! Also, the parking is ridiculous....they were so focused on leasing other spaces to different businesses that they forgot there wasn't enough parking to support them all. I avoid this store if at all possible, it's just too frustating to park and then run around the store looking for my groceries. read more

LOVE this place!!!! Came from out of town this place treats you like family. Cant get enough. Everything is definately is better here at H-E-B read more

This store is a good store. It has a lot of variety of things. I, although, prefer the smaller building where it used to be, but oh well. I see few of the employees who work there from the Fountain View location. The only thing that I see and have dealt with so far is I wish that they would better train their cashiers/ baggers on how to properly bag items. Like which goes in which bag and with what. If there is an item that is sharp or has jagged edges, BAG THE JAGGED ITEM IN A DOUBLE BAG OR EVEN TRIPLE THE BAG!!!! I was given a large and ugly gash on my leg because of an incompetent bagger who obviously did not know what the heck she was doing. I mean common sense...really. I should have taken a photo of it and taken the photo in to them so that they could have seen what I was talking about. read more

Great store. They have so much of what I need on a day to day. The service is always excellent and they are well staffed on busy days and times. Great prices on everything! read more

Best customer service ever!! A rain storm popped up with little warning. All of a sudden the sackers and managers appeared with umbrellas and led customers to their cars and then packed up groceries in their cars. read more

I went to this store on grand opening weekend. I liked it. It seemed on the small side, but overall it was nice. It was just an ordinary HEB. It doesn't quite compare to the HEB Marketplace in Sugar Land or Missouri City. One feature that I remember the most, is the wine feature. They had a wine tasting bar and a wine cellar. It also has a restaurant attached. To make this HEB amazing, I would have probably used the restaurant space to add additional room to the store for more product or another feature that would be valuable to shoppers, especially since there are plenty great eateries in the area. Overall nice store, but I can't imagine myself driving across town to purchase groceries. read more

Just a damn good grocery store! Amazing beer and wine selections. They have a wide variety of food staples and specialty items. The butcher shop, deli and bakery are top notch. Ya can't go wrong with HEB! read more

Hands down best HEB in Texas. Their customer service is phenomenal. Prime example: I went in today to get a cake for our company's admin day tomorrow, I selected a plain cake and had "Thank you!" written on it, the girl sloppily wrote it on there and I felt bad that I would bring that into work the next day. I didn't feel comfortable bringing it back to the girl to redo it so I just asked a manager if they were able to first. The managers went out of their way to take my cake back to the bakery, they rewrote the message even put something nicer on it "Happy Admins Day, thank you for all that you do" so sweet of them. And on a bigger cake! And then told me they were giving it to me for free! I certainly do not ever complain for free items ever, having been in service industry myself, the thought of them doing this almost brought tears to my eyes. There are such good people in this world, just open your eyes, they're right in front of you! I am so thankful for them making our day special tomorrow (I am an admin) and feel so thankful that this is MY heb! read more

So annoyed at the people in the catering department. There is never any service that is available. All the people behind the counter see you but choose to ignore you. I went to get the HEB tuna salad (so good).. At other locations it is available all the time. I went yesterday and they did not have it available, so I tried back this morning, the lady said they were waiting on the shipment of the fish, but to come back at 11AM because they will for sure have it. When I came back, the person behind the counter said they would not have any for the day, when I told him, I was told it would be ready by 11AM, he changed his story, and stuttered, "uuuhhhhm ohh yea, the shipment should be here any minute..." They lied to me several times. I will not be returning. Other locations have better service. read more

I like this HEB, but honestly the rock music blaring in the background makes me feel I'm at Woodstock. Truly annoying. Really HEB?

I have been waiting for this new HEB to open so I would no longer need to drive to Bunker Hill or to Central Market. I enjoyed my initial experience, however the whole coffee bean section has to be just an afterthought and appears to be be the same small and limited coffee section that was in the Westheimer location. How can you build such a large store with so many great offerings, like the other large HEB locations, and not have a similar coffee selection? I will still need to drive to those other locations. read more

It's pretty hard to get excited about a grocery store, but Whole Foods on Post Oak and San Felipe changed all that. So this HEB with it's semi-gourmet restaurant had a lot to live up to. Sadly, it misses the mark by a Texas mile. Cluttered food aisles that are not so wide as claimed by previous reviewers, a frozen food section that's practically hidden, produce department too far from it's bakery & cheese department, a deli regulated as an afterthought and a floral dept just sitting there to navigate around. Despite the hype, this is just a mediocre store at best, and at worst, a misstep from HEB that reached it's peak with the Bunker Hill location. BH still is the king in this area with around 60k more sq ft. The Table 57 Restaurant with prices rivaling an actual sit down tablecloth experience is turning out inexcusably small portions and lackluster presentation with a taste that makes you regret eating here. The kitchen while overwhelming isn't actually impressive to watch, the seating is a bit drab and the service is pretty horrible. And to accomplish all this, the lunch deli that excels at Bunker Hill is shoved in a small nook for this location and the "free" seating doesn't exist. It seems that HEB didn't care to replicate the "Cafe on the Run" which is odd given the usefulness of it. It's a huge miscalculation given how popular and wonderful the Post Oak Whole Foods turned out. Granted HEB sees more revenue in actual grocery sales than all that "hype" and so, will fall back to concentrate on that. Yet, one sits back and wonders what the forthcoming Voss Whole Foods will bring. read more

My friends and I always talk about how much we love HEB. Sure, it's a grocery store, but it's not just any grocery store. Unless you have moved away from Texas or you're experiencing it for the first time as an out of stater, it's difficult to understand the love for HEB. The quality of the products are phenomenal, and the prices are very reasonable. HEB is my to-go to for all my basic groceries. The brand new store opened on February 18th at San Felipe and Fountain View. This HEB has a lot of features that many HEB stores in the city don't offer. Just to name a few, this HEB has a jerky bar where you can buy jerky by the pound, a hummus bar, a meat market with fridges that display their dry age beef for a minimum of 21 days, and a sushi bar where you can order a custom made bento box or bibimbap bowl. My favorite feature of this store would have to be Table 57, a restaurant that is the first of its kind in Houston. Sit down restaurants can be found at one HEB in Austin and the other in San Antonio. Those restaurants are not at the caliber of Table 57, a menu that was created by Chef Randy Evans. Refer to my Table 57 review for foodie recommendations. For those who are familiar with Central Market, also in the same family as HEB, this San Felipe HEB has a very similar feel to the upscale grocery store. Expect for there to be heavy traffic when visiting this store, since it's brand spanking new. Store hours are 6 AM-1 AM daily, so avoid peak hours if possible. read more

Hey y'all! I love this location I can always find what I need. It's also a big location. With a small restaurant inside. It's a cheaper version of whole foods with a variety of good quality brands. read more

If you're shopping anywhere else, lose my number!!!! I lived in the area when the previous HEB on Fountainview and Westheimer was still up and running, and as soon as this location opened it was immediately the best thing happening in my life. Awesome selection, good lay out, the staff is friendly and judging by some conversations I've had with them are well compensated and happy to be working there. On the first of the year I moved to East Downtown, and the ONLY thing I was worried about missing was this HEB. Now that I'm here I drive 12 miles across town, and past 2 other HEB's just to do my shopping at this location. This place is AWESOME!!!! That being said, Buffalo Speedway and W. Alabama HEB need to step their game up! -Josh read more

This review is for the employees at the Sushi station. The older gentleman with the glasses is one of the most arrogant human beings I have ever met. Evidently they are not employees of HEB and he does not feel like he needs to provide the same level of customer service that HEB prides itself on. Arrogant, rude, and an all around miserable person. HEB should get rid of you my friend. You are truly worthless. read more

H-E-B San Filipe could do better about enforcing curbside parking only. It's beyond frustrating to arrive with no open spots to collect curbside delivery items only to find near half the spots occupied by cars with no drivers. read more

Michael, the wine guy, at this location is knowledgable and friendly. Tastings are always fun learning experience. We walk out with at least a case of 6 every time. I mean I can't say no to 10% off. I just can't. read more

This seems like a good HEB. It's definitely different than the one I am used to in Pearland. Pearland has an HEB Plus, which is the largest size HEB builds. This location is smaller than what I am used to, but maybe a little more upscale. I feel like little details were added to this one that are not normally added to others. For instance, it has a TX BBQ station and an upscale restaurant inside of it. The restaurants line is crazy long, so I have never been able to try it out. On the other hand, I was trying to buy a trash can and apparently they don't sell that. The Pearland location sells trash cans, furniture, electronics, clothes, etc. As someone new to the area, I'm not sure where I will end up shopping for groceries. This place is a definite possibility. read more

H-E-B is one of my favorite stores to get groceries from. They have a really good selection of produce; even tho the layout can be confusing and things aren't where you expect them to be. But you do get used to it just like I did. They have a real nice selection of wine and beer. They have nice selection of fresh cut cheeses and boxed imported cheeses also. They have a nice deli and a good restaurant attached also. I would not suggest going here right after work because it gets crowded and you would have to wait for people to get out of the way, because I like taking my time and not having to wait for anyone either. One other thing I like about this place is every time I've been there and the store started getting busy the manager would put more cashiers on the floor. read more

Miniscule organic section. Produce scattered, doesnt look fresh & interesting; not well displayed. Kind of messy store in places.

This store boasts a wonderful selection of almost anything you can think of. The fruits and vegetables are great, the bakery is wonderful and the chocolates and pastries are very tempting. They also have a variety of cheeses and wines. One of the best grocery stores I have come across. read more

I like the store okay though I was hoping this would be a big HEB like the Bunker Hill store but it's not. Just wish the parking wasn't such a nightmare. Ughhhhh read more

This HEB has an amazing floral section (HEB Blooms)!! I'm always super impressed with their selection and variety of different flowers. The Floral manager is extremely helpful and sweet. He is very knowledgable when it comes to flowers and gardening in general. I wish I had booked my wedding flowers with him earlier as he would have been a joy to work with. Keep up the great work! read more

I love this new HEB but watch out for a cashier name Deirdre. She was in a big hurry not friendly and didn't even say thank you very snippy. I was disappointed because everyone else in that store is so friendly and helpful. read more

I have been coming the heb on westheimer and fountain view for years, so when they moved just a little but further away down the street I was a little bummed. However, this is definitely an upgrade. This heb is gigantic compared to the old one. I swear I get lost every time I'm in there which isn't a huge setback. I would totally compare this one to whole foods, but with more options and better prices. Parking here is a nightmare because I think the employees share the parking lot. It isn't a 10 minute round trip like the old one was, but worth the extra time when I go because I return with better quality and quantities. read more

First off, this store is clean, new, and huge! But better than all of those traits the employees are incredible! Once it was raining and an employee waited with my groceries while I went and grabbed my car and then loaded them into my car under the canopy so I didn't get sopping wet while trying to load my groceries in the rain. All of the attendants at all the counters are also super nice and knowledgable about their area - deli, meat, seafood...anything! LOVE this place! read more

So I found the bread. As I thought, it was pretty obvious. I like this HEB. I don't like the IKEA-like layout.

I live close to this HEB and another by bunker hill. I love coming to this HEB. It's new with a modern style/look and doesn't get crazy crowded. The service is always great and they have everything you need. They also have a restaurant in this location that I will try soon. read more

This HEB always seems to be packed, but checkout wait time is decent. Store is always well stocked with plenty of options. Some of the aisles are tough to get down at times just to the amount of people stopped along the way. read more

It's about time we have a new H-E-B in the neighborhood that matches the quality of their other premier stores in the Montrose and Greenway Plaza areas. The produce section is clean and has everything you could want. I am also impressed by the variety in their massive fish and meat sections. The quality of the artisan breads churned out at the bakery rivals what you would find at Whole Foods and Central Market. I was also surprised to find that they serve bento boxes and bibimbap to go. I am looking forward to doing my grocery shopping here often. read more

Kudos to the Management, staff, vendors, merchandisers and all who helped put together this amazing store! It is a store I could spend all day in! read more

Of course I had to go check out the newest HEB store and overall I just thought it was ok. Pros: Bright and clean (probably because it's new) store They had some items that the other ones don't carry The spice machine was cool but would have been better if they had more spices. As with every HEB I like how the coupons are next to the item. The bakery section seemed larger This one carries rosemary rolls which I loved at my local Wegmans. Cons: Crowded Narrow aisles and including checkout (tough with kids) -I thought the new store was nice but it would be out of my way to come here. I wouldn't rule out coming back but I'm not impressed enough to make it my regular grocery store either. read more

When they first opened I was extremely annoyed by the fact that their organic produce didn't have an area of its own. At this location they have each produce, organic and non organic, side by side. It makes a lot more sense since you are able to make comparisons between the two right there in front of you. The layout was a little confusing but you get the hang of it. Even when the store seems to be packed it never really feels that way inside. The store has a really hip feel to it with the cool lettering and signs. They always have really fun events going on. Most grocery stores when you think about Saturday grocery shopping you think of long lines never ending cars and etc. well at this location you won't encounter that problem. It's Not busy on Saturdays... In fact I would say it's way less busy on Saturdays than most days. I love this heb and it's a pleasure shopping at this location. My only complaint is that they don't have certain central market items, or other brand items I used to see in other stores. Hopefully they'll bring them in with time. The bottom line, great grocery shopping without feeling like grocery shopping. read more

Ben! So Ben, some employee here... absolute rude, no time for the customers, and presumably a very sarcastic mean person. Ask for help finding the moth balls.. Ben doesn't look at me but says "over there by the pesticides"... I say I must have over looked it, is there someone that might be able to help me look. Then he says we don't carry it. That's a very different answer from the first. Ask for help looking for it again, and here it comes.... wait for it.... his response is, "I'm not gonna waste time looking for something I know I don't have"... awesome.... crappiest customer service nearly ever! As the rest of the employees aren't much more interested than Ben at helping customers. Great job HEB! read more
