Sometimes Santa gets so busy, he can get his addresses mixed up. It doesn't happen often, but when it does you can rest assured that one of the employees at H&R Block will open up the package that wasn't addressed to her and put it in her car for safekeeping. So, I get an email notification that my package (Christmas present for my girlfriend) was delivered to the wrong address on 12/15/2021 at 4:30 PM. I show up to pick it up and the girl who's working goes "ohhhh, it's in my car, I thought my boyfriend had something delivered to me, but I called him and he said he didn't". Hmm...not only must we have the same exact name, but he definitely got the size wrong. She then says "well, I called my boss and she said she didn't order me anything either." I'm thinking Okay, so then why is it in your car? Are you saying your "boss" told you to steal it or keep something that wasn't addressed to you? Maybe she thought it was part of the stimulus package this year. It was also opened and the original UPS box it came in was missing. Gotta ditch the evidence. Needless to say, I will not be getting my taxes done here. read more

Got a letter from the IRS brought all my stuff back it's all there what I presented to the H and R block. The person doing the taxes didn't put "other taxable income" I now owe 2000 dollars and they won't take responsibility.... Good luck coming here the FFF you over read more

Had to update good review. So apparently Fraud Letter I received from the IRS was because H&R Block filed my taxes claiming another state. Why?? Dont know. This was Jessica's mistake. Older asian lady. Came back and Rosa said she would fix it. She gathered all my info and sent it to the "proper" location so the issue could be resolved. A month later called the state for my status report. Apparently they never got it. I gave them the address Rosa sent my info to and they did not recognize it. Long story short, guy on phone helped me out. Issue took 2 years to resolve and get my money. Avoid H&R. The employees nor the manager know what they are doing. read more

It was super convenient to get my taxes done here. I had always wanted to try having my taxes done by a professional instead of using software and was glad I did! I even got more $ back. Sarah is very pleasant & professional and answered my questions patiently. She walked me through the process and made sure I would get my maximum return. Also, I noticed the receptionist offered to get me some more water as I was about to walk back to the front to get some more. I was very glad I tried getting my taxes done here! read more

Cons: Bad experience. Have been going to another place the last ten years. This time we came to H & R Block. After telling us what our return would be less, we just politely left. Doesn't make any sense that we are going to get less this time when the only changes there have been are changes that benefit you ( new baby & new home). We felt nickel and dimed (didn't bring the exact paper for something so they were going to make us pay for an additional tax form) also, the "refer a friend" deal wasn't going to be given to the person that referred us because we were doing our taxes first and they needed to have done them first to get it. To keep your customers, maybe you should give a referral fee to be nice, or at least attach "fine print" to your so called "deals". Currently we are on the drive to our reliable tax person, which is way farther away but worth it. Even if he tells us our return will be what h & r told us, it costs 1/3 of the price they were going to take from us. Never will return here. Pros: Guy that helped us was understanding and polite. The wait to be seen was very short. UPDATE: got $500 more going somewhere else..... and paid less to have taxes done too. read more

What a great experience! I was totally lost with an IRS OIC paper work that no body knew how to fill out. I walked in there without an appointment, confused and sad! The front desk girl was nice and I told her why I was there. She called Mr. Roberto C. Escoto and I explain what the problem was and he showed me to his desk. I gave him the IRS paper and he began helping me too fill this out. He was able to help me and was there for a long time making sure it was done correctly. The entire time he was professional and kind. He saw how stress I was about his paperwork and was very understanding. Once everything was complete I ask him to please charge me for his services..... and he said no don't worry about it... I said, no I insists... it's free!!! I was happy to help you... This place was a nightmare for me. I highly suggest going ANYWHERE ELSE. I mean look on Craigslist for someone that does taxes I mean anywhere. It'll save you weeks of problems and you'll actually feel confident knowing the person doing your taxes isn't googling "how to do taxes" Sadly enough I called to check Roberto Escoto's background and he's been doing it for more than 10 years! It was so bad I had to call corporate 3 times just to double check nothing funny was done to my taxes. I was also charged more money than agreed upon without being informed until AFTER I signed the documents. I was told I was going to receive a check for the money Roberto Escoto overcharged me and still haven't received it. I can't stress enough how ridiculous the entire process was and it's still not over -__- Oh and you'll never get a hold of a manager and you'll get told different names of who the manager is I had to report that also. Never going to H&R Block again and definitely not referring this business to anyone. Just Save yourself! read more

People! If you want your tax to be returned, dont go to this office. People who work there dont know their job at all.They even do not know how to determinate resident or not. They only want you to pay them. I paid them but felt all my documents by myself. read more
