First of all, let me thank the Yelp reviewers for their posts of this business!…read more I have a tax preparer that I've used for a couple of years. I called them initially, but they said that they were all booked up for the season and this isn't even 'tax time". They are located in North Hills. Even though I've been in Palmdale for 5 years, sometimes it's so much easier to continue working with companies (mechanics, hair stylists, tax preparers, etc.) I had before moving up here, but that was my cue to find someone closer to home to do my taxes. When I'm looking for something, I usually do exhaustive research before committing to anything. I not only look at the good reviews, but I look at the reviews with the lower ratings as well. Based on my review of the overall ratings of this business, I decided to contact them to set up an appointment. It was very convenient to set up an appointment via email. I had a great experience working with Dara! I had 2 years of taxes that needed to be done and she took care of me quickly and was extremely precise, answered all of my questions and gave me great advice of things to do in preparation of next year's tax season. I especially enjoyed her great sense of humor and professionalism. It was the most fun I've had getting my taxes done! I have found my new tax preparer! Thank you Dara and I'll see ya' next year!

I was referred to this business from a coworker. Despite the negative reviews regarding appt timing etc I gave this company a shot. I schedule the appointment and the day of 8:08am I texted to confirm if our appointment time was still on. No reply so I decided to called since online it showed that the business opens atb10am. Good thing I called because OF COURSE he told me he would be late and be there around 9:30-9:35 am. I said ok so I decided to go get a cup if tea. Once I arrived shortly after 9am I was informed that he was actually there. The whole time I'm in his office waiting he was with another customer. Here it is after 10:15 am and I'm still waiting. I finally ask if he had another customer before me because I thought I was his 1st customer. His assistant tells me he had a walk in. I explained to her as well as show her my communication with Marquez that I only arrived after around 9am because he told me he would be late. Not for me to arrive and he puts a walk in in front of me. I explained to him and his assistant that she is the face and he has bad reviews regarding not keeping his appointments but I was a referred and was giving his business a chance. I stated its only right to let someone know what they're doing wrong so they could improve it if possible. So I did just that and let them know that my time is just as valuable as theirs. No apologies nothings. They didn't seems to really care or even want my business. Nice location however the service doesn't live up to the location.
