That's shows the lack of respect the owner has for the customers. The employees have no respect including the owner. On the computer screen big and bold they show people's socials security card numbers, easily personal identity can be stolen. When people are calling and they verify instead of having the person over the phone verified the SSN in front of other customers sitting in front of them someone can easily write you're number down. You're personal information isn't safe at this tax office. They shout out people's personal business if they were locked up or in jail with their name, no shits giving. I refuse to get my tax done here. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting hey taxes done here either. I wouldn't feel comfortable with my personal information be given to them. I do not have enough happy and awesome words to describe Pratt-Wasko!…read more Carol Wasko walked me through the entire process of incorporating my business when I first started my company back in 2007. She handled all of the paperwork and made it mindlessly easy and pain-free. Since then, she's also been my CPA, handling everything from my business taxes (quarterly and year end), my payroll, paperwork for my 1099 contractors, and she does my personal taxes, too. She keeps track of all of those weird, sneaky deadlines for state and Federal filings and documentation, and when I've accidentally dropped the ball she made it all better. I never took a single business or accounting class in my life; I didn't know any of the most basic accounting lingo. Carol explains it all to me until I understand it, and helped me use Quickbooks better so I don't keep making the same mistakes over and over. I've recommended a bunch of people to Carol, and they've thanked me for sending them to this gem. I would be completely lost without her, and even when I move my business to another state soon, Carol is still gonna be my Accounting Goddess. Note: As the owner/operator of her firm, she can choose her clients, and she chooses not to work with jerks. Can you blame her? So, don't be a pompous ass when you meet her or she'll send you to H&R Block. (Your mom taught you that, right?)

The process has been exhausting and felt like a constant cycle of phone calls and confusion. During this time, I spoke with customer service representatives who were impatient and not always helpful, which added to my stress. While following up on one of these calls, I was given a phone number that unexpectedly connected me to Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. That call led me to James L. Petrucelli Sr., a tax consultant, and it restored my faith that there are still truly good people in the world. Even though I was not calling about tax services, Jim took the time to listen to my situation. He scheduled an appointment with me and went out of his way to help. Jim used his knowledge and connections to guide me through what I needed to do to get my applications submitted as quickly as possible. He was patient, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. What stood out the most was Jim's kindness. He helped me simply because he cared and wanted to support another human being during a time of distress. That level of compassion is rare, and it meant more to me than I can express. I am truly grateful to have met Jim. His professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help went above and beyond. He did an outstanding job, and I cannot thank him enough for his time and compassion.
