I have been going to Liberty Tax for years (since they moved from Rancho California). This last…read moretax season I went to Liberty Tax in Temecula, even though I moved two towns over. Everything went as scheduled until the stimulus checks started being mailed out. I could not sign in to tbe IRS website to see what happened to my check. I looked at my tax return paper work and found the tax preparer put the wrong address on my return. This was after she had my driver's license, my W-2 and the form filled out with the right address on it. She still got the address wrong. I called to tell them what happen. Spoke to the woman who completed my taxes. She said either try to go to the home where the stimulus check was being mail to or wait until 2020 tax season. No mention of refunding the money I paid to have my taxes done. This is not the way you do business!! It was your preparers mistake. All she said was "sorry." I am sorry that I got my taxes done at Liberty Tax. Please do not trust your taxes to them.
