Made an appointment to have our family's taxes done, 3 different filings in all. First of all the…read moreoffice is located next to a tattoo and smoke shop and there were guys wandering around the shopping center, not very comforting for my 26 year old daughter. We walked in and the office had a faint smell of weed and there was only one tax preparer on sight. She was younger and did not introduce herself which was odd considering she was going to handle all of my family's private information! I decided to test the water a bit and give her the easier of the three tax return files. She took almost a half hour to review three sheets of paperwork and was asking my daughter questions that she should of known! My daughter and I had to google the clean vehicle credit on our own because she said she doesn't do these much and mentioned the IRS website was very confusing! When we questioned her about write offs for my daughters expenses such as computers and board testing for her doctorate schooling she said we could look into that. All in all the process took over an hour and she still could not figure out the clean vehicle credit, said she had to "speak with her manager and wasn't sure the return was entirely accurate." When it came time to pay she quoted us almost double the pricing I was quoted over the phone! Needless to say we will not have our other taxes filed with her and will be getting a second opinion for my daughter!
