Contacted this office late March, spoke to the owner Sally. I explained to her that I had used her service and she seemed to remember me. She told me how busy the office was, which I replied that I was well aware of how late I was contacting the office. We agreed on my dropping off my paperwork. I know she has a drop box. She said that would be fine. I dropped the paperwork off on a Saturday morning, the office was closed during a time they were supposed to be open. I called the office at least 5 times, at different times to make sure someone had received my paperwork. I was told by her staff person Sandra, when I was finally able to speak with a live person that she did not know if Sally had the paper work or not? So I asked that Sally please return my call. A week later NO CALL back. I called again, Sally answered the phone with attitude, big attitude, upset with me for calling so much. I explained to her that I was simply calling to find out if anyone had my paperwork? She was rude, and not professional. It is not my fault as a customer that she says yes to everyone and stresses herself to make the April 15 tax deadline! Will never use this service again. We selected Nautilus Tax and Wealth Solutions to file our taxes for over seven years until we encountered our first discrepancy with the IRS in 2021. A filing mistake was uncovered, and we were looking at a 20 K liability. Larry was very nice and professional up until that point. Direct correspondence with Larry was now interrupted by his secretary Lisa. The IRS requested a power of attorney to enable Larry to explain his filing mistake. Even after we prepared the power of attorney for which only a signature was needed, Larry billed us. He stated he would charge further for his negotiations with the IRS should we forgo filing a petition. He stated has no cop ability for his mistake and suggested we should just have our new tax consultant file the petition if we don't like it.
