He also offered to give us a quote on my car insurance, and they were able to save us a substantial amount along with a bundle discount. Manny was very thorough with his explanation of my coverage and actually pointed out that I was underinsured. He was still able to save me about $500 every 6 months! Reason for canceling, high fire area. I contacted 4 neighbors, all of them have State Farm. I called a second State Farm Agent to get additional information. CS rep states within 30 seconds that they can't insure me based on my zip code. Claims other neighbors must have been "grandfathered in"? Sounded like BS to me. We can't insure you, but we'll continue insuring all your neighbors. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there and there and there, just not here. Tracy's office wasted my time and money by not checking in more detail before accepting my money and allowing me to cancel the insurance I had! So they got free money from me for doing NOTHING!!!! And now I have to find different insurance, AND WAIT FOR A REFUND! The whole situation sucks and could have been avoided. They should not accept payment without full approval from underwriting!
