I'd been very frustrated with our past CPA with whom I'd worked for close to 10 years…read more As a result of that experience, I'd spent 4 months looking for a new CPA with some key criteria. The new CPA had to be very organized, responsive, and use technology to collaborate in more of a "distributed / remote" way. Of course, we also wanted someone who was ethical in their approach to tax laws, and had high core competency around tax laws for small business, medical and health related expenses, homeschooling, as well as investments. Kareena Sharma of KS Tax and Financial Services met all of our requirements from day one. When I reached out to her, she quickly responded back to setup an intro call. She was clear about her office's core competencies, what staff she had available, and offered to research some nuanced questions we had. Once we got the final results of our completed tax filings, we were impressed. We got better results than what our previous CPA had estimated in October of last year. Hoorah! I also loved the time saving of working with her, sharing all of our documents on a secure platform, where we could simultaneously work on the them. No more insecure emails or keeping track of who has which version of a document. What's more, she completed all filings and setup a web conference call, even though she's somewhat local to us. This saved us the time to drive back and forth, while still being able to meet "face to face" via video. Since then, I've also learned she works with clients across different states, using the same online tools and web conference capabilities. This is why I personally recommended her to all of my friends and family across the US. Give her a try. I think you'll be impressed!

Shaila Chamberlain, CPA, has been my financial wizard for several years now, and let me tell you,…read moreshe's nothing short of magical! Whether it's tax season or just another Tuesday, she's always available to help me untangle the financial webs I get myself into. She not only handles my numbers but has also trained my team to handle things so smoothly that I almost believe we know what we're doing. Shaila usually answers my calls and texts with lightning speed, like she's got a sixth sense for when I'm about to have a financial meltdown. Except for today... Today, I felt like a red-headed stepchild--left on read and waiting for a response like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck that never comes. But hey, even the best of us have our off days, right? So, Shaila, you still get five stars from me... for now. But don't make me come back and edit this review! (Kidding... mostly.) Keep up the great work, and maybe shoot me a text back before I start looking for adoption papers.

She has been extremely helpful in answering all my questions whenever I felt I was worried about something in regards to my business. Any time she finishes filing taxes for me she is more than willing to sit down and discuss any of my concerns. Something that I do not find often with other CPA's is that she offers mini courses/speaking engagements where she will basically go over how taxes work in the business world. She explains each business entity clearly and thoroughly. Definitely worth the investment. Please ask her or her team about it. Lastly, she is clearly connected with businesses in the Riverside and Inland Empire where she is quite knowledgeable what is going on in the business world for her city she is working in.
