Before he passed, he recommended Maria and told my dad she does an excellent job and truly works with her clients to get them the best return possible. As I started earning more income, I unexpectedly owed taxes for the first time. I had always done my taxes myself and never had to pay before, so this was confusing and stressful for me. That is when my dad suggested I go to Maria. My dad is very particular about who he trusts, so when he told me she was amazing at what she does, I knew I could rely on her. It has now been 3-4 years working with Maria, and I can confidently say she is the best at what she does. She is quick, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I know tax season can get busy, especially closer to the deadline, but when I reach out early she completes everything within a day. My refunds are typically deposited into my account within two weeks or less. Even as my income has increased over the years, she continues to help me maximize my return. She asks thoughtful questions and looks for opportunities that I would not have even considered on my own. Overall, she is professional, kind, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy tax professional.

My first 5 star rated business and this place deserves it. I've always done my own taxes through…read moreTurboTax; I was a w2 employee and didn't really have much to write off. After meeting with Vina I regret doing my own taxes. To file jointly for my husband and me, both w2 employees, it cost $225 - cash or check only. My experience with Vina was so spectacular that I have already recommended her to 4 of my friends/family without reservations. Location - office is in an office building complex - third floor. Go up the elevators, turn left and she's at the end of the hall. Parking is ample. Reception - I called about 2 weeks ago and easily made an appointment a week and a half later. Within 24 hours I was emailed a new client letter as well as a 16-page new client organizer. The email did indicate that I needed to PRINT and bring several documents with me such as my 2015 tax returns, W2 and the new client form. I was running late for my appointment (~10-15 minutes) so left a message on their voicemail as I had the first appointment and office was not yet open. Receptionist called at 9:05am to tell me it was ok and that they would hold my appointment. This was icing on the cake for me. Especially for such a small firm, keeping appointment times are crucial and I was very grateful that they were willing to accommodate. Vina - SUPER personable. We had roughly an hour session and at the end of the hour I felt very comfortable with Vina. She truly tried to get to know my husband and me without getting too personal. Tax - Vina's approach mirrored what my husband and I were looking for. With her background in auditing, Vina has an in depth knowledge of all the deductions we were owed; even ones that we never considered. My husband and I are fairly conservative when it comes to our taxes, but we were looking for someone who could be more aggressive and help us maximize our returns. Throughout the meeting, Vina asked us various questions about our lives and spending habits which opened doors for deductions that I didn't know we qualified for as W2 employees. Vina gave us some great tips for this year to come so that we can organize our receipts and spending's more thoroughly. Bottom line - Vina was able to double our tax returns compared to years prior. We are going to have her amend our previous 3 years after tax season is over. As Vina is the only tax preparer I have ever used I do not have any comparisons. If any of the people I've recommended end up filing with Vina, I will update this review with their input in terms of the returns they receive. I only have two gripes about this place and both are minor and do not warrant losing a star. First would be if I could email all my documents. Especially in a day and age when most people are moving towards a paperless system, it would have been nice to have a paperless option; however, I understand that some people work better with a physical copy in hand. My second point would be to have an online appointment booking system. They can book appointments by phone, email, and Facebook messaging; however, being able to pull up their calendar and do a side-by-side comparison would be nice. However, I understand that getting an excellent online booking system could be very costly and time consuming so not worth burning a star. Overall, I'd recommend Vina to any and every one without hesitation.
