Turns out I was not the expert I thought I was (or that turbo tax made me think I was). Their tax guy Jon spent some time learning about the money my wife and I make as well as how we pay tax on it. We have a fairly complicated situation with her being a part time teacher and small business and myself a regular job with some investments throughout the year as well as loss carry overs from prior. They went through the process to review my past return as I requested and found a number of errors that I had made that turbo tax didn't see. They corrected them and it resulted in an amendment of 2018 that provided me a 'stimulus' package of my own for right now :). Their fee is below most others I have seen and the modification refund to my wife and my taxes more than covered it. I don't often make recommendations but felt compelled to do so hence this review. 2019 was a complicated year for our family but feel comfortable knowing the Rebel team will handle it for us as we have many other things that need focus right now. Great personal service and didn't make me feel silly for the many questions or ignorance I had around specific topics. Secure file transfers for everything as well.
