I then requested to make an appointment the same day, and to my surprise I was able to get an appointment. I came down with my wife and kids , and we were greeted wonderfully and was welcomed with a smile. Char was our tax preparer/ lawyer , and I must say that she was a wonderful preparer. She helped us with filing our tax, answered our tax questions, and even gave us advice to get the most on our returns. Once our tax was completed she showed us our documents and even notified us that we could be able to see the status of our refund. This place is a wonderful place to do taxes! We have been to many different tax places and charges us ALOT and doesn't even answer most of our questions, made errors to our tax, didn't return out tax documents till asked, and never even mentioned that we could actually see the status of our refund! With Char she really assured us that her service being done that day was 100% accurate and she stands to them. I highly recommend this tax place! Not only is it affordable, but they are also friendly, helpful, trustworthy, accurate, and dependable! We will surely be returning! Got our tax return with no issues! Also, if you have any questions they are just an email away and will respond asap. The best part about Char doing your taxes, she will teach you each year how to maximize your return and that's very important because the laws changes from year to year.

The best thing that could ever happen!!!. Loy and his office personnel Robert and Elizabeth are the kindest, most helpful people you could ever hope for. A few years ago burglars robbed our house. After calling the Sheriff and credit card companies, I contacted claims at State Farm. About an hour after that Loy Pai called and told us if we were uncomfortable and wanted to stay at a hotel that night he would make sure it was taken care of. He helped us thru the whole process, making a bad situation much easier. Loy always checks and makes sure we have the best insurance at the most affordable price. The office personnel double checks all discounts, making sure we get every deduction. He gave me instructions over the phone on what to bring, etc. An hour drive from where we live, but we still gave it a try. Ample parking. We came at 1200, at our appointment time, and was immediately attended to. We even brought our 9 month infant on a stroller inside with no issues I gave him our documents and he started working immediately, and pausing in between to attend to us, even talk to the baby. He was personable and professional. Tax prep took roughly an hour and we are pleased with the service (and the refund!). We went line per line in explaining the basic items, and gave directions re: getting the refund etc. Fee was appropriate for the service (filing married, itemized), even lower than our previous tax prep. We've been to other tax prep as well and I'm impressed with Bobs service. Make sure to have all your docs available, organized, and detailed if you will itemized deductions to ensure a smooth tax prep. You can pay they check or PayPal. Give him a try!

This is an overdue review. My buddy recommended Stephanie to me since the usual place I go, didn't…read morehave appointments until April (This was early February time frame). Unfortunately due to military commitment, I would be out of the country in April. I called Valley Tax Service and made an appointment for first week in March, I was charged $300 at the time to secure my appointment. Well the day comes, I walked in, I was greeted and told to have a seat in their waiting area. I was intrigued by the train sets they had, I'm assuming they sold them as well. A few minutes later, I was told Stephanie was ready for me and was escorted to her office. Stephanie was professional and welcoming during my appointment. My appointment lasted about 45 - 60 minutes. That tax year, my income and situation maybe changed +/- $2K from the previous year. When Stephanie shared my return, I asked why was it a few thousand lower than the previous year and not much changed since the year before. She assured me, she was giving me everything I was entitled to. She also shared, my returned would be mailed in, this method would ensure the IRS would go over my return and ensure it is correct verse using e-file. A few days later, I received a letter (Attched) from them advising my return was ready for pickup, and I still owed another $300. I called Valley Tax Service as I assumed it was an error, the lady who I spoke with, I don't recall her name (I believe it was Stephanie's mother or mother in law) apologized, but advised the total service fee would $600, no one mention it at anytime duringmy appointment. I was a little shocked since I have NEVER paid over $200. But then I thought, perhaps Stephanie is knowledgeable of all the laws and will get me everything I'm entitled to and my return amount changed since my appointment. I was wrong, nothing changed. Since then, I have continued to utilize my usual place and pay 1/5 of this price (I have never been audited nor the business I go to). I will say, you will be seen with a few minutes from your appointment time. Overall, service was not worth or even close to $600.
