I have mixed feelings about this H&M. The front section of the ground floor is very light and airy with a double height ceiling but once you get past the balcony, it gets very dingy and cramped. The mens' section is unfortunately in this area of the store, so you are in for a pretty dull experience.
The clothing looks a bit better than the city centre branch but that is all I have to say. There is no homeware section, and I feel like that is what I go into H&M for the most. My local branch in Edinburgh doesn't carry homewares but there is a nice, large branch at Ocean Terminal shopping centre which has all of their ranges.
The kids clothing has an entire floor devoted to it in this store! There is a staircase at the back going up into the childrenswear bit. I saw a sign for a lift but it was barricaded off the last time I entered. Also on the signage above the door, the &M is illuminated but the H isn't which really irks me. read more
