This is a great store but the people who work here are AWFUL. I have been here several times - they are not friendly and SLOW AS MUD. When I checked out today it seemed like my clerk had better things to do and I was just wasting her time. One of our favorite stores for shopping!!! They have an awesome kids/babies section! I have a 3 year and a set of 2 year old twins. Perfect place to make sure they stay looking cute LOL. And of course I take a lap or two around the women section. Hahah from business attire to lounge wear, I never know what clothing items sneak to the register with me. They always have a sale going on which is a plus to my bank account. The store is easily accessible as well. Park at the main entrance and walk straight back to the right and you're there!!! read more

went here with my sister and mother, a cashier was extremely rude to my mother, didn't ring up a dress and made us late to a party and then when we talked to the manager about the dress she told us over the phone that we could have the dress for free if we brought the receipt. We ended up paying for the dress and the cashier that was previously rude was heard gossiping about us saying that we were trying to "steal" the dress. We were not, she just can't perform her job correctly. Quana and Ayana, thank you for causing us to be late and we appreciate the attitude, props to your talent to push paying customers away. H&M has been renovated! Well... not just yet. It's pretty much done and already looks incredible! They made another entrance for the "H&M MAN" section and made great improvements to the mens section overall. It looks to be slightly bigger, but most of the improvements come in the staging and atmosphere due to the new looks. The selection of H&M is always impressive and keeps me coming back. They have jeans ranging from $50+ to just $20 (more my style). The accessories section is highly impressive compared to other store with mens clothing as well. They have suspenders, hats, belts, sunglasses, bracelets, and much more. The kids section has been moved and is now behind the mens section. It too looks to be a bit bigger in size. Along with the remodeling, they have added a few new registers. This is always a plus because the front registers are always packed. They now have one in the mens sections! The Grand Re-Opening will be July 20th at 10AM. I look forward to the whole place being finished! read more

Goodness! why is the men's section so small? And why is it all expensive Fruit-of-the-Loom type t-shirts that I would have to pay $20 for? bleh. I've had some good shopping experiences in the past at the DC store, but I can't tell if it is just this store or a general trend for H&M in general. Either way, major bummer. Lots of women's clothes and there is a new kids section. Even some of their women's clothing is sub par in my opinion. Many of them are very conservative Little House on the Prairie type styles. H&M is a large high street fashion store that caters wide selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. The store is globally known for well renowned designer's collaboration. The brand provides latest fashion trends, that's what made them stand out. You can be fashionable without over spending that much of money. I hate to say, but it's not everyone cup of tea. Sizes would be one of the biggest concern, not everyone can't pulled off slim fit. MacArthur outlet is one of the store that I always go to. The store looks fantastic and well displayed. A bit messy sometimes but I totally understand because its also a busy store. IT'S A SHAME that the customer service is very poor. The staffs are not willing or able to help and forget that customer exist. They have finally increased the men's department (okay the change happen a while ago, but still)!! Prior to their increase of items in the men's department - I would've recommended the one in Lynnhaven to the males out there. Items in store: They do have a good variety of clothing. They have a decent size section for the ladies. A rather good size of children's clothing and an improved size for the male section. Service: The customer service is give and take. I have good customer service and I have felt like I shouldn't have even asked for help or a question at that. The place is relatively well kept, and you aren't finding piles of clothes in the dressing room, which is great. I enjoy this store a lot. H&M is my go to for clothing often. They continue to be underwhelming and unimpressive. On this trip today with a friend to help him shop for work clothes I noticed that there appears to be no one working on the displays. There were clothes all over the floors so can't be sure the inventory is clean. That and the general appearance that a hurricane has gone through the displays makes this one of the messier stores in the mall. I can only imagine that the people working here are more involved with socializing than they are with selling merchandise. The only person that appeared to be working was the young man in the fitting rooms. I wonder why anyone would spend money here. read more

This is another place that I check out pretty often whenever I'm in Mac. Mall. They have some really good summer special going on right now with some items as low as $4.95. H & M has a good assortment of accessories, as well as intimate items (bra/panties/etc) and shoes, purses, hair accessories, jewelry and more. They have men's clothing and women's clothing. For women I know that they carry casual attire, career attire, jackets, sweaters and bathing suits. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the MacArthur Mall Shopping Center. read more

I really like H&M's selection. They have a large storefront in the Peninsula Town Center and I just walked in there for the first time the other day. I was already somewhat familiar with their selection having shopped at the H&M in MacArthur Center Mall. However, I can say for sure that this is a larger location and seems to have more to offer. I'm not really a big fan of their t-shirts, but I do like their large selection of button-up collared shirts, which I tend to where quite a bit. They also have really cool accessories--cool hats, belts, scarves, etc. It's definitely very chic, and while it's not bargain-hunting prices, it's still pretty affordable overall. read more

nice clothes. reasonable prices. This place is big, and crowded. So much stuff I'm not sure where to look. Did I catch all of the jeans? are there dresses upstairs too? I looked through a tightly packed section of belts and found just what I needed. only $6.95. When I got to the front area I debated wanting to stand in that really long line for just a belt...did I really need it? There were only 2 registers. one that took all payments and one taking only credit and debit. You can imagine how this slowed things down leading to the occasional confusion. A guy in front of me moved back from the register and lingered to the side with cash in hand at his waist. The lady at the credit register had rung him up but could not take his payment. I was next in line...The other cashier let me know that after he finished with his lady he would need to take the other guys cash. A good way for him to avoid a potential blowout with someone who would wonder why the guy was "jumping in front of them." But I understood the situation so I was not that person. my $6.95 belt rang up $3.18 with tax, felt a little better about the exhausting wait. read more

This was my second time visiting this location and I must say that I enjoyed the experience. I came in to purchase a specific item and I was in and out in about 10 mins. The store was spotless and there was a nice variety of pretty much everything. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that NOBODY greeted or acknowledged me the whole time I was there. I wasn't familiar with the sections of the store so It took a while to find what I was looking for. Once I finally found it, I headed to the register to check out but had a hard time finding it. I passed a couple employees during my search but they were too busy talking and laughing with each other to notice that I was lost. I eventually found the register and nobody was there either!!! I stood there for literally a minute before I asked the young lady(who was folding clothing about a couple feet behind me) if she worked there. She said yes and eventually came over and assisted. I love H&M. I enjoyed being able to visit one other than the one I live near. Can't really say one is better than the other, but in this one the line was ridiculously long, but seemed to move quickly. In comparison with the one in Raleigh, I didn't feel rushed as I was being checked out at the register so I appreciate that. This one had a children's section as well! Even though this store touts a European fashion sensibility, I really don't see it as any more fashionable than Papaya or WetSeal. H&M falls into the normal Lynnhaven Mall style, very suburban and following the already established fashion curb. There are, however; two great things about H&M: They have a great selection of professional but still fashionable and youthful business clothes. This is an aspect that's definitely missing from the other stores in Lynnhaven. The prices are up there, but the quality is great and it's a totally worthy expense if you're a professional up and comer. The second saving grace is the constant sales. H&M does a great job marking down items, so you'll find tons of steals if keep checking in. read more

This is the WORST H&m I have ever been to! The store is a complete mess. Clothes on the floor, Starbucks cups on the floor, and the racks are overpacked with clothes ! So overpacked that you cannot grab a shirt off the rack without stretching the neckline out. The staff is extremely rude and they do not help at all. And watch where you're walking because if you're in the way they will not say excuse me and walk really close Infront of you . Oh and if they need to put something back on the rack that you're at, they will get in front of you as if you're the one that's in the way read more
