This H&M is located on the second floor just off the food court. The selection here isn't as great as other locations. For some reason I just couldn't find a good deal! This store usually has good deals and hidden gems, not this time. Not even a sales section. Maybe next time. I like H&M for beautiful tops, dresses and accessories. This store is also good for stocking up on basic leggings, tanks and tees. Not much to add about the employees, no one offered to help me. read more

Well, it's not quite what I remember from "back in the day" when I used to shop here in Virginia. I remember this place was always great for finding really cute inexpensive items. However, this trip I was not so lucky...or my taste has outgrown graphic tees, cropped shirts and leggings. Either way the selection seemed a bit picked over and cluttered. I did browse the Men's and kids section and that seemed to offer better variety (and much less clutter). I guess I'm glad to see Charlotte finally got H&M. And if I'm shopping for a guy or kid I may stop in but I just don't know if I'll be running back to this location for any of my personal shopping needs. read more

While I've enjoyed H&M in NYC in the past, this location leaves something to be desired. I didn't see many sales people On the floor to assist. 3 stars for now, didn't really see much to catch my eye to make a purchase. After visiting this new location in the Charlotte region, I can honestly say that it is like that new car smell that you hope to never go away. I was able to pick up great winter weather items. Clean and refreshing from the madness of a mall atmosphere. First of all, I go there often but it's not for me. My wife was born in Finland which is the closest counrty to Sweden and H&M is like their name for everyday 'closet'. It's a decent sized shop. The men section actually has some cool stuff. They have the European style slim fits and also the comfy shirts and sweats. The colors are modern, not too colorful, and the jackets are pretty warm for the price. I don't shop there recently but I know because I used to go to another H&M before I movrd to Charlotte when I was younger. The girls section is just full of all types of clothes. Personally I think it's for twenties and early thirties only but it could work for anyone who needs aomething to go out for dinner. Last, the price is just awesome. read more

I had no idea this H&M was even open, but to my surprise they were. I came in and saw a great selection compared to other locations, as well as very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this location to the rest. read more

Northlake Mall - Charlotte, NC - Purchased a pair of khaki pants for my teenage son. We washed them as soon as we got home. The pants bled after the first wash. No, we did not use any bleach. We went back to the store to exchange for another pair. The manager refused to let us exchange them because they had been washed! She then turned her back on my wife and walked off! No respect and with a bad attitude! Unbelievable! We spent over $100.00 in that store that day. It will be the last time we will ever buy anything from H&M again. Poor quality and no customer service gets a zero rating!!! read more

This H&M location is basically a more mature version of Forever 21. If you are looking for basic pieces such as cheap leggings and skinny jeans this store is great. Besides that notthing else seems worth the price for the crapy quality. My biggest gripe is the customer service. They seem to hired people that have never handled a cash register much less worked with the public. Slow doesn't begin to describe the cashiers. read more

The new H&M stores in Charlotte are nothing like the one in Atlanta, GA at Atlantic Station. I used to rack up on clothes at H&M, so much that I'd have to put stuff back to not overspend but now I hardly see anything worth buying. I think the Carolina Place location is better, although its a smaller store than Northlake. We shall see how the Southpark Mall location is compared to these two. It's usually soo packed in H&M it's best to go in there during the week when people are at work. read more

Finally Charlotte gets and H&M! Guys have been missing an option to buy this sort of clothing for a while here in town, so I am glad we finally got it here. The worst place on earth. Their employees doesn't know how to treat their customer. They are bullies and they make fun of people behind their back like their are jokes and they like to talk nasty about the customer on their heads eat earpiece. A lots of people shouldn't be working because they don't know how to do their job. They don't like to help and customer service is terrible terrible terrible. I came to H&M early in the day and purchased some things. Then needed to come back a few hours later because I made up my mind about a jacket. The only medium was on the mannequin. No one was in the area so I was taking the medium off and I was careful then an employee came running from outside the store yelling at me. Excuse me ma'am! You can't take things off the mannequin. Then 2 other employees also came from outside the store. They were more concerned with what they would replace the jacket with if I took the medium. And they double checked that I was telling the truth I guess. So she said she can take it off the mannequin THIS time. What? I said I've never been yelled at tying to purchase something. The guy who I assume is a manage never apologized. I left the jacket and walked about and past them (still more concerned with their displays) I said I left the jacket and have never been treated that way before. Then he wanted to talk. Sorry you have that impression. I continued walking and said no, I won't be shopping here any more. I was so embarrassed to be yelled at like I was stealing their most prized jacket. Very disappointed. I get it if you want to help remove it from the mannequin but NEVER should you yell at a customer and tell the customer THIS time. read more

We walked in the store and no one was available to help and answer our questions. Fitting room was a mess and dirty. We waited 25 minutes at the line to check out. The cashier was so exhausted to talk and have a smile on his face. I hope their corporate put their act together and do something about it. I took 2 thirteen year olds to shop at H&M. They were so excited, but that didn't last long. Not one person greeted us; not one clerk asked if we needed help. When we checked out (on the men's side), the clerk acted like we had disturbed him and was not a bit friendly or kind. Even one of the 13 year old girls said "their customer service stinks!" I personally will not be back in that store. What happened to decent customer service?!? read more

H&M is really a hit or miss for me. Their clothes goes from casual to formal to whatever is in style for the youngsters. I really like their style of choices for men because I went with my brother and he found some really great items. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is that I was standing at the fitting room entrance where the women's intimate items are and 2 of the workers stared right at me while I was standing there, I thought I was waiting because all the fitting rooms were full but then I stood there for a good 6-7 minutes until a store manger came in the fitting room section and noticed me and informed me the entrance to the fitting room is through the men's side and I had to walk around. Walking around isn't what I'm complaining about, what irritated me was that the 2 workers working the fitting room clearly saw me with clothing items in hand, waiting and let me stand their looking stupid. Maybe it's because they're all new workers but come on now, it's common sense. read more
