They are accommodating with appointments and the salon is always in spic and span condition. I go every month for a wax and the lady is a sweetheart, definitely puts me at ease. They use a type of wax that doesn't involve paper strips, which I have found to be way less painful. They are normally very meticulous but the one time that I went home with a bit of wax still attached, they were incredibly apologetic and offered me a free session. I also routinely go here for nails. I don't like gels just because of what they do to my nails, so I always go for the Performance line. These are a non-gel that acts like a gel. Dries in 5 minutes and comes with a 10 day guarantee. Perfect!

In addition, this last visit was the worst. I got a huge burn on my face. I thought it would die down after the first night but it looks pretty bad now and I've had to go into work for big presentations trying to cover this up. I've had burns before but this is by far the worst.

The staff is fabulous and the owner Liz is so welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I cannot understand the one negative review here. I honestly found the staff very friendly and kind the woman who did the treatment was especially…read morenice. However, I feel the HydraFacial was overpriced for what you actually receive. The treatment only included the pen and red light therapy. There was no deep cleansing or exfoliation before using the pen, and they did not extract or clean pimples. In other places I've been to, those steps are included, so this felt incomplete. I used a $250 birthday gift card, the HydraFacial costs $200, and the $50 tip was mandatory -- which didn't feel appropriate given the limited service. it's overprice.

I also got a pedi clean up and a quick clear coat simple. I had a couple hang nails that were annoying me and she cleaned them all up for me. Wild Orchids is a Chinese nail salon, located in Westwood. This was actually my first time getting my nails done at a Chinese-owned salon, in the US. I am Chinese myself, and felt comfort hearing some Chinese tunes playing. I felt at home honestly and wondered to myself why I haven't gone this place sooner. Today, I decided to get a chrome gel manicure, no acrylic extensions. Lol, also the first time I opted for no nail extensions & did natural nails. My nail tech was Fanny, who was very kind and did a great job! My nails came out exactly how I wanted them to ;). I asked for two coats of OPI Funny Bunny, one coat OPI Bubble Bath, + chrome finish. The nail salon was super clean. The tools used are all sterilized well. I consider their prices pretty fair, compared to other nail salons I have been to in the city. I would come back again and recommend coming here if you're around in the area!

BEWARE! Stay away from this place. They are extremely unprofessional. I have attached photos of the…read moretime stamp of when this incident happened along with the bank charge to show solid evidence. I paid to get eye lash extensions, which went terribly. The white tape they placed under my lashes got stuck to the false lashes and was sealed with glue which was impossible to remove, unless you remove all false lashes and re-do, entirely. When the lady finished, I noticed, and immediately mentioned it to her. She said it would wash off after I showered. The man at the front desk was a witness, and noticed. After noticing, he semi smiled, laughed, and spoke to her in whatever language they speak that wasn't English. I got home, showered, and of course it did not come off. I called that very same day stating that I showered washed my face and it still did not come off. I notified the man who witnessed everything and he told me to come back the next day, so they could fix it. When I came back, the lady tried pulling the white clumps, which did not help. I requested for them to remove the lashes and issue a full refund. They refused, despite the job being done improperly, and the fix being half-done. They said that if I wanted to get them removed I would have to pay. While I understand they have a no refund policy, this was incomplete/poorly done work. They didn't even offer a credit or to redo them. I have bank statements and the date I took this photo to show I am not lying. The table you lay on had a sheet over it that was extremely dirty filled with someone's hair dander. I had to request for them to change the sheet. I should have taken that as a red flag! This place is not new. It's owned by the same people that owned Diamond Nails, because when they charged me, it showed up as their old name before they remodeled the place. They had to change their name because of the terrible reviews they had. They also wrecked my lashes. She trimmed my natural lashes. I'm not sure why, and I noticed when I had lash Bar remove them.

She is super friendly and personable and really listens to her clients and quite frankly that is really hard to find now a days because all these other estheticians want is your money rather than loyalty. The moment you walk in the environment is super clean and neat, which is super important in the beauty industry. I love the decor in this place. Daniela is so sweet and passionate about what she does. You can definitely rely on her when it comes to what she thinks your skin needs without pressuring you into upgrading or purchasing anything. P.S- ask for the blueberry enzyme - a little tingly but does the job and makes your skin feel amazing! Daniela and I can converse for hours about literally anything haha but if you need your me time she can do that as well. We talk all the time, but I still feel relaxed. She has some of the best prices around here-including Boston area. And to be honest, she is worth way more than what she is charging already. I highly recommend getting the package deals she offers. Plus, if you purchase another package before your 1st package is over you get a complimentary facial!! (100% worth it) Super easy to get to this place. I use to live in Brookline and now I moved to Malden and still drive 45 minutes to an hour to get here. There are plenty of estheticians in my area and in Boston that I pass by to get here, but I one thousand percent choose her any day! I literally leave this place glowing and feeling like a brand new person. She does wonders to my skin! Plenty of street parking and public transportation drops you off a couple stores down. I brought my boyfriend here recently and he wants to make it a commitment to come back once a month together. That was his first time getting a facial and he is hooked. Daniela gets booked pretty quickly, especially on the weekends so I would suggest booking as soon as you leave. Or you can easily shoot her a text. She is super quick at responding. Keep in mind that she is the only one running the show here so the door will be closed until she is finished with her previous client.
