After feeling brushed off elsewhere, Jenni and Kayla stepped in and were amazing from the very first conversation. They treated our project like it actually mattered, even though it was on the smaller side. No attitude, no short emails, no making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Just genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to help. Their design team designed our event tickets with creativity and care, walked us through options, and made the whole process easy. Customer service was top tier and the final product turned out better than we even pictured. It honestly felt like working with family. If you want someone who's responsive, talented, and actually excited to bring your vision to life, SLI Custom Designs is the way to go. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Guardian…read moreAlarm reached out to me after I posted this review and agreed to work with me regarding my issue. I will give them credit that they did follow up and did offer some concessions. The issues I outlined below are accurate, but as compensation, they agreed to refund $113. This doesn't quite make me whole, but it is better than I expected. What the representative told me was that the manager should have offered to send out a tech to unlock my board and only charge me the $85 service fee for doing that. I still don't like the fact that the board was locked in the first place as that ties you to Guardian Alarm even if you paid for the system as I did. No matter what you weren't leaving their service without at least an $85 fee. They informed me that locking the board was for security. I believe if you are going to follow this practice that you should have some remote way of unlocking the board and just do it for customers who are choosing to leave. I still believe if a customer is choosing to leave and has fulfilled their contract and paid for their system they should be able to leave without any additional fees. As I wrote below I paid out $175 to change out the board, which was my only option at the time. By Guardian refunding me $113 I am only out about $62 above and beyond what I knew I would pay to change providers. While I wish that cost was $0 I can live with this and I give them credit for reaching out and initiating it. I was no longer a customer and they didn't need to do anything. It is not like I had any recourse. So I am updating my original review. ____________________________________________________ Be very careful before using these guys. I found their monthly monitoring service to be very expensive. I was no longer under contract with them so I tried to negotiate a lower rate. The only way they would lower my rate was by signing a new 3-year agreement. I decided to switch to another company for monitoring and that is when I ran into trouble. My new company discovered that Guardian Alarm had put a lockout on the mainboard so I could never switch to another company and then refused to give me the code to unlock the board! I was forced to pay an extra $175 to get a new board installed! They did this deliberately so I could not leave them. My system was paid for and I should have owned it and received this code. When I called and requested the code they gave me the runaround and tried to blame my installer. My installer even called Honeywell, who made the system and verified the board had been locked and there was no way in and the standard override code would not work. I actually listened on speakerphone when he talked to them so I know he was telling me the truth. This is a shady business practice and total B.S. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Very thorough HR training from someone who is clearly passionate about helping others learn, and…read morepassionate about Human Resources in general. My co-worker and I signed up for this as an offsite training for us to get a little more knowledge about HR laws and how to have HR conversations. We received an email from Steve, our trainer, the week before the training saying we were the only ones to sign up (which I now think is crazy knowing how great he is) and offering to come to our office as well as volunteering to center his training on topics that we wanted to know more about. Steve came to our office with cookies and fruit, as well as a very personable and approachable demeanor. He answered our questions and listened to our personal and "what if" situations to help us learn the "right" way to handle them. I believe we will be reaching out to Steve again in the future. And I would highly recommend HR Bones training for anyone that needs an HR brush up, or needs to gain more specialized knowledge in a certain area!

I walked in around 5:30pm and there was no wait. The first customer service representative motioned me forward and there was a sign by his station indicating that he was in training and asked for patience. Donovan asked if I was there to pay a bill and I said yes. He took the relevant information and I pulled out a credit card. He immediately asked if I wanted to save on the $5 credit card charge... of course!! Donovan then showed me to the customer kiosk, located near the back of the building. He typed in all of the information necessary to pay a bill and the bill was paid in a minute or two max. I've paid bills via phone in the past and the process was far longer (waiting on hold) and more complicated- requiring account number, last four digits of social security number, and so on. I couldn't believe how easy this was in comparison! Donovan had only been on the job for three weeks and told me he had no prior customer service experience. Well, he's a natural and his upbeat attitude made me feel so much better about paying a bill that many locals (including myself) find ridiculously expensive. Awesome job, Donovan; thank you!!

Derek and I met about 10-12 times in the parking lot of Lowwes in secret because I wanted to surprise my wife with a CD full of love songs that I sang for her and she loved it. Derek walked me through the process: choosing a quality Karioke microphone, recording song on my phone, giving phone to him where he put all songs on a CD and sim card, showing me how to operate mic, sim card, and USB port. He even took the time to give clear and written step by step directions for everything whild always maintaining personal and professional patience. He even created a system where I could listen through head phones and kill the TV volume so I wouldn't disturb wife while she slept on her recliner. I cannot say enough about Derek. James in Monroe
