Absolutely terrible... unorganized, dishonest, and deceitful. The classic "take advantage" repair shop. I fully regret taking my boat here.

I was originally attempting to sell my used but excellent Searay 185 SP via Boat Trader and…read moreFacebook Messenger, but it seemed 90% of any inquiries were a scamming attempt. Luckily an acquaintance at my Marina asked if I had tried "Bancers Marine" which I was unaware of previously. I passed by their offices on 620 and met Tom and Hector and I was so pleased that I did. This Team is very highly experienced at boat sales and service. They guided me through the entire process , took care of some repairs and every detail ! They have now concluded the sell of my boat and my experience and interaction throughout was agreeable, professional, friendly, and pleasant. I highly recommend Bancers Marine

Experience told me I did not want to sell it outright, direct to buyer, and needed a wholesaler to buy it from me for 20 to 25% off retail value and save me the HUGE hassle of doing it myself. Hector Hernandez at Bancers Marine provided me with EXCEPTIONAL brokerage service. Hector was and remains as professional, personable, buyers-sellers market/boat-motor-trailer mechanical knowledgeable and trustworthy as I could have hoped for. We quickly agreed on a mutually agreeable transaction and most importantly, HE TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. If you are looking for a turnkey, quick-sale of a good boat for a reasonable price, I cannot recommend Hector Hernandez and Bancers Marine HIGHLY enough! JR

What a rip-off! This week I had two jetskis serviced at the new Full Throttle Seadoo place in…read moreKingsland. All that was done was an oil change and replacing three spark plugs. The bill came to $863.13 or $432 per jetski!! For an oil change which takes 3.5 quarts of oil and a filter! The parts came to about $112, the rest was for labor at $170 an hour plus shop supplies, hazardous waste charge (oil), and credit card fee (3.5%). And by the way, it took this Master mechanic (at $170 he must top-of-the line) 1.5 hours to do this oil change! Incidentally, I looked at an old 2023 bill, when the exact same mechanic changed the oil in the exact same jetskis and it took him 1.2 hours per jetski then. And of course the hourly rate was a lot cheaper back then too (37% cheaper), but it's different ownership now when Full Throttle took over from Highland Lakes Seadoo. I guess they had to increase the time the mechanic worked on these jetskis or raise the labor rate even more to get more money in, but how much more than $170 per hour are you going to charge for a guy doing a basic oil change? Or perhaps the mechanic is slowing down in his old age, who knows? My advice? Perhaps it pays to look for a different place. By the way, all the positive reviews (with the exception of one) are about Highland Lakes Seadoo, which were the previous owners. I liked that place. The new ownership has turned greedy.

I went in on a Saturday to look at a specific kayak they had in stock. As soon as I opened the door…read morethe smell hit me. The shop smells like a litter box. There's at least 1 cat walking around and it's clearly been using several items in the place as scratch pads. One kayak had the flooring all torn up. The furniture with padding is disgusting! There are birds too. Cages were disgusting. Even the fish tank was gross. In fact, the place looks like it's owned by hoarder. There's stuff stashed in various areas. The more you look around, the more you see. Now on to the shopping experience. I told them what I was looking for and they directed me to a "salesman". He showed me what I was looking for which was outside covered in dirt. That's where his usefulness stopped. He had no clue about any of the kayaks I wanted to see. Told me the kayak had 800lb weight limit but it's actually 650lbs. When I asked where the floor inserts were he said they didn't come with them, but they actually do come with them already installed. Asked for a specific color and was told that color was "defective" and the manufacturer was recalling all of them, and that's another lie. When he realized I wasn't going to buy one right then and there, he proceeded to follow me around the store for the remainder of my visit. The only way he would've gotten closer was if he had ridden on my back! I ended up driving to San Marcos the same day and bought the exact kayak I wanted. If you buy anything from here, make sure you disinfect the hell out of it.

This place is just foul. This is a hole for sure. Walked in and immediately smelled cat piss. I…read moreonly noticed one cat but you can tell it laid on everything in the store. It had hair and scratches in the boats and furniture. Then there were bird cages that smells bad as well with almost black looking water in them. Fish tank didn't look too good either. There was a bag of open chips and other food items like salsa out in what looked like a break room, along with what looked like newspapers and trash laying around. It looked like hoarders storage unit. The boats were dirty and the kayaks were stacked on top of each other outside. So you had to move them to look at the other ones. It just looked completely unprofessional compared to other places. The sales guy didn't know anything. Everything he said was completely wrong from the pamphlet they have of the kayak I wanted sitting up front for anyone to take. If I can't get this kayak I want from anywhere else, then I'll just swim around.

Had my boat on consignment with Pat for three months, he told me in order to sell hit he would need…read moreto invest some time, and money to fix a few things to have boat ready to sell, I said ok that's fine no worries. So summer comes around, boat still hasn't sold. So my partner on the boat and I decided we wanted to pick the boat up and keep it. Pat seemed aggravated by this and told me he had all these customers in different states interested, but no commitment from anyone. I asked what it would take to pay him for everything and get the boat back. ($1,420.00) I paid that with no problem because I trusted him. Well I get home and the three speakers he installed for 375$ weren't even wired in and were 45$ speakers on amazon. I called Pat and told him the issue, which he thought he would resolve with cussing and yelling as well as hanging up on me three times. I decided to let this shady gentlemen keep the money and I'm moving on to avoid confrontation. Pat is a complete SCAMMER In my bill it clearly states the 300$ I paid for the storage fees. So there was nothing free about it . AND I told you everything about the boat and asked if you wanted to get in it and look it over with me in which you said no, it looks good from down here. I had no problem paying for repairs until I was ripped off. So I don't know where you get FREE And I never didn't want you to fix anything , I paid you 400$ to replace a vinyl strip... On top of that I cut my price 5 thousand dollars and you couldn't sell it. So don't say I was using you as a free storage facility .
