Cons: My experience with the dealership and financing process was challenging. When I first visited to look at the Tesla(May9,2026) , the experience was fairly positive. I didn't feel pressured the way I have at some other dealerships. When it came time to discuss financing, I specifically stated that I wanted dealership-arranged financing because the APR being offered was better than what I could get through my credit union. Despite that, the salesperson and finance department repeatedly encouraged me to use my own bank. The paperwork was completed, I signed the contract, and I left believing the deal was finalized. About a week later, I started receiving multiple calls asking when I would bring in a check from my credit union, even though I had previously stated that I was not financing through my credit union. I was then told I needed to return and sign a different contract. Since I believed that the deal was already done, I was confused about why another contract was necessary after I had already signed one. I returned to the dealership the following weekend and met with the salesperson and the general manager, Pauline Noaman. During that meeting, there was a disagreement regarding the financing paperwork and next steps. As a result, I chose not to sign the new contract at that time and left the vehicle on the dealership's property.(May 17,2026) Later, I received communication from the dealership's attorney stating that the original contract remained valid even though I had not signed the new one. I was also told I needed to retrieve the vehicle within a certain timeframe to avoid potential fees. When I returned to pick up the vehicle (May20,2026), Pauline was not present. I worked with another finance representative, who stated she was unfamiliar with the situation. To resolve the matter and move forward, I signed another contract. On June 1, I received another call from Kal, the Finance Director, informing me that an additional contract needed to be signed. This would have been the third contract presented to me. I declined and stated that I would not be signing additional paperwork. My issue is not with the vehicle. My issue is with the financing process, the repeated contract revisions, and the handling of the transaction. Based on my experience, I would recommend that prospective buyers refrain from this location.

When I got inside, the car felt like a furnace, the steering wheel was so hot that I could barely hold it without burning my hands. I was surprised that the staff at MINI left my car sitting there. It was a little disconcerting to see the lack of consideration shown in how my car was parked and returned to me, when it could easily have been avoided by parking the car in the shade right next to me, as I could see the other cars parked in the shade. I ended up driving over to BMW next door and speaking with Rocky, one of the service advisors, who kindly offered to run my car through the car wash to help cool it down. I have known Rocky since his days at MINI, and he has always been extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He has consistently made my experiences exceptional, and I truly appreciate his kindness and willingness to help. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the mechanical work performed on my car at Mini. I love driving Mini's, I wouldn't drive anything else and would highly recommend the MINI/BMW dealership in Monrovia to anyone. I look forward to continuing to do business with them in the future. Mark has helped me around June for a different recall for my LEAF vehicle and has been my contact since. When I reached out to him again but about my rearview camera, I felt relief and reassured that he listened to my concern thoroughly and provided the written documents (for paper trail) I had requested because I definitely did not want to shoulder a backup camera issue that was affected from 2024 that's showing signs of acting up 2 years later since it couldn't withstand normal hatch operations. I was dedicated to getting my hardware replacement for free (under this old recall issue), or just walking away, and definitely Mark showed incredible competence and communication with me during my visit. At the time of writing, my vehicle is getting the replacement on the same day! He is absolutely wonderful with excellent customer service and I strongly recommend him to other customers. I watched Jeff become visibly shaken when my husband started asking questions about the additional charges. Instead of sitting down with us and calmly explaining exactly what we were being charged for, he became defensive and tried to kick my husband out of his office simply because he wanted answers about our own money. I was sitting right there and witnessed the entire interaction. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly shocking to watch someone who is supposed to be handling the financial side of a major purchase behave that way. What made me even angrier was that when we tried to contact him, he avoided us instead of having the professionalism to speak with us and explain the charges. Nearly $2300 in add-ons is not pocket change. We have every right to know exactly what we were charged for and why. I can't help but wonder whether the additional commission from those add-ons was more important to him than being transparent with his customers. In my personal experience, Jeff Garcia was completely incompetent and unprofessional. If you cannot explain the charges on a customer's loan and stand behind the paperwork you put in front of them, then you have no business treating customers this way. I left that office angry, frustrated, and feeling completely disrespected. My advice to anyone buying from this dealership: DO NOT LET YOUR GUARD DOWN IN THE FINANCE OFFICE. READ EVERY SINGLE LINE. What I noticed while having my car serviced (during my wait/hang-out time) was that several regular customers stopped by, to discuss work needed, to pick up parts ordered, or to discuss a current project. I'm already into cars, but I learned a bit more just by listening that day. As well, I was able to go over certain things with the mechanic on my vehicle, have a hands-on discussion about the rotors (which I don't need to replace yet) and the under-panels, and overall just got to know my vehicle that much better. Stewart and I even discussed their oil choice, which is top-quality, and the differences between it and what dealerships typically use (again, goes to knowledge). Price: very reasonable. Recommendation: if you want to put your Italian automobile in quality hands, desire to have a good discussion about it and possibly even learn something, and are ready to be pleasantly surprised by a very reasonable price compared to dealership, ABSOLUTELY turn to APC. [If however you don't care much beyond lowballing the price of goods or service, at least be reasonable when you deal with a specialty shop like this.]

He gave me an estimate on my car and did not go over budget. As a female, it's always intimidating to go to a new mechanic; you never know if they will be honest with you. Scott's estimate was accurate and fair and I had my car back within the estimated time he said the work would be completed. They do ALL types of repairs, not just transmissions, too.
