If you enjoy eating good food and can forget about counting calories for a night, then here's my bullet proof recommendation: Start out with the bread and the amazing garlic/Kräuter butter that will be offered to you. Take it easy on the bread, regardless of how delicious the butter is. You have to remain hungry. Order the Gamba's appetizer - it is served in hot delicious garlic oil in which you can dip your bread. But again, take it easy on the bread. Then, for your main course, order the lamb dish (see provided picture in the business overview). Oh yeaaaaah.....

This is where you had to go to get a decent stick in the cologne area. They know how to make steaks here, they're thick, fresh and juicy. I really know how to prepare the meat here, better than anywhere else. Every so often I would crave a steak after eating so much chicken and pork, prepared the German way. It's a little bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth it. If you're going to get any kind of steak in Germany, make sure it's at an Argentinian restaurant. Go to where you know they know properly prepare the meat and get the right cuts as well. A lot of German steak dishes, usually consist of behind her back side of the animal. Not always the best cut of the animal.

We were at Royal Iberico for a Yelp Elite event and were greeted by a well-decorated, chic atmosphere and our warm and friendly restaurant hosts. The restaurant is small but intimate and cozy. On to the food- we started with a delicious and smooth Cava Apertif which was refreshing and tasty, and an olive bread with a garlic dip. The appetizer was a beautifully presented zucchini hors d'oeuvre, and we also enjoyed a charcuterie platter with Serrano ham, cheese, and chorizo. The main course was the highlight of our evening- Iberian steak with potatoes and mixed vegetables. The steak was both crispy and tender, flavorful and delicious. It had a tad too much salt for my taste, but overall it was very good. In between courses, we enjoyed live violin and accordion music, which was a great surprise. They played dynamically and romantically and added to the charm of the evening. Five stars for a lovely dinner and evening.
