Hotel du Louvre has been extensively renovated. The suite we stayed in was spotless and clean. My favorite part of the hotel is the central location, which is across the street from The Louvre. I love the high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony facing the street. We were on the first floor and it was loud at light on Friday night. I think there was some sort of activities or event. It was quiet the rest of the time we were there. Turn down service with a box of chocolate on the pillow and extra bottled water is a nice touch. As a guests of Globalist, we also had complimentary breakfast each day starting at 7:00 am at Brasserie du Louvre. Great breakfast selections! Although the staff are very friendly and helpful, I feel like they are understaff in the Concerige area for a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel with attentive service in an A+ location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel du louvre. The rooms were cozy and bathrooms generously sized. The breakfast options were delicious and fresh every morning, including the pastries. Service was impeccable. Lastly, you can't beat this location. Central walking distance to so many shops and sites but also right on the metro line. Highly recommended.

Our stay started out absolutely horrible. By the 2nd night new perspective and things improved but our first impression is now burned in our memory. Our bad start put a damper on our stay and I blame it solely on our Receptionist at check in who was very uncaring, lied and should not be in the hospitality business. So here goes. We were part of Uniworld river cruise. We were "promised" our room would be ready at hotel upon arrival at 12:30 pm. After a 7 1/2 hour overnight flight, 6 hour time difference and not being able to sleep a wink on the flight we were anxious to get into our room. We just wanted to freshen up, change our clothes and crash. At this point we had been awake for well over 28 hours. To our surprise at check in we were told our room was not not ready. We were told check in starts at 4pm but they would try and most likely get us in earlier. A total disconnect in communication between Uniworld and the hotel. (Uniworld blamed it on the hotel). The small lobby of the hotel has 4 total chairs...two chairs on one side across from the reception desk...and that is where we sat for the next three hours thinking any minute we would have gotten a room. We were too exhausted and seeing double to walk around Paris during this wait time. Two hours passed by, still sitting in the lobby, reminded the reception desk we were still waiting and explained once again just how exhausted we were and we were told it wouldn't be much longer. In the mean time we see another "Uniworld" guest who had just walked in, had a different reception check in gal and was given their room within 20 minutes!!!! Omg...we were dumbfounded and angry!! I was practically in tears, approached the Receptionist, tried to remain professional and calm, and questioned as to why they were given their room when we were now waiting 2 1/2 hours? She told me they paid more which turned out to be a total lie as everyone from Uniworld paid the exact same amount. Due to that reception check in girl she ruined our first day in Paris and we wasted our entire day in the lobby. We ended up waiting 3 hours in that lobby for our room, then another 25 min for our luggage to arrive. No one apologized and no one seemed to care. On top of that our room did NOT have a view...we faced a very dull and boring courtyard. Here we are in Paris first time and facing a wall in a courtyard. Paying an exorbitant amount of money for this hotel and we could not be more disappointed. I originally had a reservation at a different hotel but switched bc Uniworld uses this hotel. On a positive note, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever had at a hotel but this was partly bc I finally fell asleep before I hit the pillow. Bottom line...things happen but most importantly it is the way it is handled that makes all the difference. In this case we did not feel like valued or appreciated guests. Nothing was done or acknowledged.

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed 5 nights. We had included breakfast at their brassiere, also highly recommended. There was a glitch with our room AC that couldn't be repaired in a timely manner so they changed our room the next day, no fuss. Even sent someone to move our luggage to the new room. For our trouble, they gave us a complimentary meal at the brassiere and apologized profusely. Everyone handling the situation was very polite, professional and efficient. Stuff happen, we all understand that. You want a place and a team like this working on your behalf to resolve unexpected issues. Excellent job. The bed and bedding is nice, the pillows soft. There is a mini-fridge with 2 bottles of water free daily. The mini-fridge is not filled with expensive junk either(more kudos) so you can really use it. It's not far from the Big Bus sightseeing main information center also. Of course, it's across the street from the Louvre and the there are lots of sidewalk cafes in the area. You won't regret staying here.

I so wanted to like the Hotel du Louvre given the perfect location, the classic Haussmann architecture, the extensive internal renovations and Hyatt management. Unfortunately it was not to be. The renovations were done poorly. There appears to be no management and while the staff is indeed friendly, they don't seem to understand the concept of service. In fact, they don't seem to know how to get out of their own way at times. Truly a disappointing experience on all levels.

So instead of going in line for two hours to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, I came to this bar. So happy I did! Such great service, great vibe and the drinks were to die for!

Over the past 15 years we have visited Paris, France numerous times and stayed at five different hotels. We were on a Uniworld pre-tour and upgraded our room to a balcony view and so happy we did! Our room was beautiful! Hotel du Louvre is in the best location to everything and steps away from the Louvre museum and metro entrance. Staff are super friendly and well trained in serving guests. This is the best trained staff we have ever encountered in France. Very friendly and polite to Americans. Breakfast at this hotel is better than the many corner restaurants. Consistent and perfect cappuccino's with super flaky croissants just the way I like them. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This is an older historic hotel and well maintained. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Paris. I would give them 100 stars out of ten if I could.

Don't waste your money. Upon waking in the morning we realized that the outlet in the bathroom wasn't working. Neither my companion nor myself could get it going. I called down and asked reception if there is a trick to it. They said no and said they would send up someone to fix it. When we returned from a day of sightseeing at 530pm there was a housekeeper still cleaning our room! We could not even get refreshed before our dinner reservation. We had to sit in the lobby bar and wait. Reception did offer to pay for my drink, which was nice. But it was such a hassel. The kicker is that when I requested a refund of some of the points used to purchase the room due to the outlet issues and the cleaning issues, the hotel caused me of lying! I will post the email in the photos. Ridiculous actions from is supposed to be an upscale hotel.

We had a wonderful experience there. The location is absolutely the best! Just steps from the Louvre Museum. Very unique design from other Hyatt, make you feel the best of Paris. Warming staff and nice view from the room and restaurant.

My husband & I stayed here for a few days during our trip to Paris a while back (sorry, only catching up now!) and let me tell you, the best thing about this hotel is location, location, location. You are seriously within arms reach to the Musee du Louvre and in the center of all the hustle & bustle in this amazing city. A lot of main attractions are within walking distance or just a quick ride away on the metro. When we were there, before all the renovations that are currently taking place, it still retained quite a bit of that old school charm. The rooms are small and feel a little cramped, but they're adequate and they provide you these lovely bath robes which I really liked. We also didn't stay in our room very much as we made a day trip to Normandy to visit Mont Saint-Michel and we were just out and about the city all day. The great part was we were able to stop by the hotel to take a nap in between our destinations because again, location. There's also a restaurant located within the hotel called Brasserie du Louvre (currently closed for renovation) which was really convenient. We took advantage of it on our last evening in town and surprisingly, it was the best meal we had in Paris. Unfortunately I forgot my cell phone & camera in our room so I don't have any photos. Seriously, though.. it was delicious and the service was fast (not common in Paris) and really friendly! If you want convenience and want to be in the center of it all, this is your hotel. Once all the renovations are done, I'm sure it'll be even better & what you would expect of a Hyatt hotel.

A lovely stay I had at this historic hotel! Lucky I am to have the chance to experience the old charms of this boutique hotel, before its total renovation by May of 2019 when it transforms into a grand hotel! The location is perfect for my weekend stay. Easy walk to the Louvre, to attend a performance at the Comedie-Francaise, to my favorite museum, Musee D'Orsay, and to shop along Rue Saint-Honoré! My bohemian suite was on the top floor. Both balcony doors, one in sitting room and the other in the bedroom, opens up to the beautiful architecture of the Louvre. Not luxurious was the interior, with dated furnishings, dim lighting, worn carpet, and very few electrical outlets. Je ne sais pas quoi but I found the aura of this oldness to be so romantic! Exceptional was the service at this hotel! From the doormen, concierges, housekeepers, to the receptionists, they all catered in pleasing the whims of their guests! Special thanks to Daniella and Margaux in taking those extra steps in making my stay here nothing but of sweet memories! CHEERS!

Awesome location!! Few minutes walking distance from Musee du Louvre~ If you enjoy museum, you are going to need a few days to check out this HUGE museum. This hotel location will be perfect! Metro station is right next to the hotel, super convenience! The hotel is definitely 5 stars. The decoration & the service is fantastic. Yes, it is pricey but you definitely get your money worth!

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. We can't wait to return and without question we will stay here again. Many thanks to the staff at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for making our stay so lovely.

I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Les Salons Hoche - Inside the bridal party suites where we got ready. There was a ton of space for bride, groom, and a wedding party of 18!

We had the Haussman apartments for the bridal parties to get ready hours before the ceremony which were large and well decorated, perfect for pictures. Our first look took place in a beautiful Parisian courtyard with our bridal party looking on from balconies above us. Les Salons Hoche provided us with a 1950's Rolls Royce and a driver to take us around Paris for photos (Bir-Hakeim overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and a side road with the Arc de Triomphe in the background). When we returned, our wedding took place on the rooftop, enclosed in glass and beautifully decorated. After the ceremony, we moved downstairs to another room for the cocktail hour with extra space in the courtyard. The reception took place in a beautiful, marble-floored room called Etoile. Every little detail, whether we discussed it or not, was perfectly done. They host a lot of events there, so when you visit before the wedding (we were there 4 days before ours) there is lots of work going on. On the day of the wedding though, the location is completely transformed with tasteful details (white curtains, flowers, candles, etc.). The food was amazing. We upgraded our food package (to "Prestige") and it exceeded expectations. Our guests, who mainly come from New York City and attend lots of weddings, raved about the quality/flavor/abundance of food during cocktail hour and during dinner. For dinner, we had the salad with lobster and mango (excellent), Beef Tenderloin (very well cooked unlike most wedding food), and Assortment of Cheeses (you're in France, of course, this is good :) ) , and the Cake (American style with strawberry inside - this was a huge hit with our guests). This was all made possible because of the hard work and excellent communication of Guiliana. She was amazing to work with and spent hours with us discussing the venue, food, timing, and all the small details. We worked with her across multiple time zones (9 hour time difference) and she always made herself available to work with us. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially from afar, but Guiliana made this an enjoyable experience for us. The true test of the success of a wedding comes after it's all over. When I asked my wife "what would you change about the wedding day", her response was "not a single thing",
