Loved this hotel!
The hotel is located closed to the Eiffel Tower. I think it's about a mile from the hotel and we walked there one evening. One the way to the tower, we stopped by for some amazing food at Restaurant De La tour.
There is a metro station called La Motte-Picquet Grenelle close by that servers I think 4 different lines. We used this subway stop to visit all the major attractions, including the Palace of Versailles, although you will have switch to the RER line to get there. The station has a lift if you have heavy suitcases.
There is a super market within walking distance called Monoprix so you can stock up on supplies, and snacks.
There are a ton of really good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. We stoped by Les Freres Brentons for delicious crepes and L'Asphalte for drinks and ended up chatting up with the locals.
There is also a really good bakery called Ernest & Valentin, which we got our petit dejeuner every morning.
The hotel stuff were very friendly and they all spoke English for us French challenged.
The living room/kitchen/dining room were big enough for 3 of us. The bedroom was small but we managed. The bathroom was tiny but it had enough shelves for the two girls and their skin care and makeup stuff.
I do have to warn you, I think the subway runs thru this building. Often we heard low rumbling in our room which was on the second floor. But this didn't bother us since it was not loud and we were used to noises as we live next to a major airport.
We would definitely stay here again when we visit Paris, and we will! read more
