Both classes have been great due to Kate's plant expertise and the magic of the Honu. Additionally, I attended an open house where Honu had products on sale, dialog with staff and patrons along with snacks. Located in Saint Paul across from Pizza Luce and next to Yellow Bird, Honu offers wellness products and services to help live a healthier lifestyle. From candles to essential oils to tarot cards to supplements to handcrafted stones - the shop has it all. Services from message therapy, reiki, workshops, and ionic foot baths, there is something for everyone. Honu sells not only their own products but also local artists from Slow Burn candles to Violet Fox Apothecary. The building layout feels like a home. It is styled with comfort, intention and love. There are 2 rooms for services along with a main entry room where workshops are held. With each visit, I have felt extremely calm and luxurious. I can't wait to book another service in the future. Dr. Jason is always genuine and eager to help. I usually just go in for regular adjustments and he asks if anything is bothering me or any pain that I have. He listens well and works with me to determine the root of the issue, as much as possible. Also, from the beginning he's flexibly tailored the treatments based on what's worked for me and what hasn't- instead of requiring I undergo all types of treatments (previous chiropractors have required services like elecrostim, which didn't seem to help me). Dr Dave tailored muscle strengthening exercises so they were more advanced and athletic focused, complimenting my regular weight lifting routine. When I've been in acute pain his office can usually work me in. He's resolved my pain from exercise overuse strains and spasming low back pain.
