Greek Fries
Amber H.

Small with plenty of seating inside. Walk up counter to order, they make your food in front of you. It was busy but line moved quickly. Small business with delicious, fresh ingredients. Gyro was massively stuffed and the pita was so soft. Greek Fries 10/10-crispy, hot, covered in feta and the most delicious garlic sauce!

side of six falafels- loved the sauce!

My husband and I were hungry driving home from Seatac on Sunday night and Gyro Stop was the closest thing to us that wasn't fast food. Holy wow, this was an unexpected win. The beef & lamb gyros are completely packed, the veggies- even the lettuce (at the end of the day no less!) were super fresh, it was thoroughly dressed without anything feeling like overkill. The garlic fries were generously flavored and perfectly cooked (gold and crispy!). I loved the falafel side- they were smaller than I thought, but that was my own brain's fault. My only note is when they ask "only one Greek fry?" don't second guess the serving size and order two- one is *definitely* enough haha. Will definitely keep this place in mind when we pass through again.

My brother and I had some food at the Gyro Stop after working an event next door and these guys were FANTASTIC. We were in there a couple of times, the service was excellent, and the food satisfied. My little brother is now addicted to gyros because of this place. The chicken shawarma and hummus plate was excellent, and I'll definitely be coming here again and again, since it's the only gyro stop for miles around. Cheers to the crew of Gyro Stop!

This is a very friendly biz, with 5-star service and quality ingredients. It's the only place I eat every summer when going to Anacortes.

We were on our way from Bellingham to Portland and search Yelp for Mediterranean food. The place…read morewhen you walk in is a very unassuming, but somehow you realize it's going to be authentic. We went very hungry so we decided to try the Spanakopita. It was one of the best I've had. The crunch was perfect because I was deep fried. Melanie T didn't want to share; that's how good it was, so I ordered my own. After tasting the Spanakopita , I decided to try the falafel. The Falafel was also perfect. It was green on the inside like it should be and very crunchy on the outside. The owner is from Jordan, and that's why the food was so authentic period. I know as I was also born in jordan. Highly recommended place. The customer service was second to none to boot, as they will go above and beyond to make sure the customer satisfied...

Fork Mediterranean has been a staple around the area for years. Consistently high quality, fresh,…read moreand tasty while being healthy! Casual, easy to take out or dine in. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Plates can feel pricey, but quality and large portions makes it worth it. Gyro and pitas for the smaller appetites. Friendly service when taking orders, but beyond that, it's very self service with water and clearing tables. Lamb & Beef Gyro Plate - hearty lamb and beef seasoned well lay on a bed of rice. While not dry, taking bits of the tzatziki sauce with the rice and meat helps add a juicy flavor and texture. On the side is a hearty Greek salad that has a similar effect, the vegetables are super fresh and help the rest of the plate taste juicier plus adds a nice crunch on the lettuce. Overall, it's an above average plate with high quality ingredients, but not extraordinary compared to many spots here.

First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).

3 decades of loyal dining at the Old Mediterranean proves how amazing the food is here…read more OK, when I need a blast of garlic throughout my body the Mediterranean Kitchen is my pit stop... A friendly greeting as I walk into the establishment which is always welcome. A bowl of hot soup comes quickly after taking a seat... Pondering through the menu which I know by heart I order either the Shish Tawook, which is charbroiled tenderized chicken served over rice with a garlic sauce, YUM. However if that's not grabbing me I get the Kafta Kabob served over Yellow Rice, Hummus, Salad and Pita Bread to scoop up all those flavors. Occasionally I have the best of all world plate which is The Combination Plate featuring the Kabob Kafta kabob, Shish Tawook and lamb kabob charbroiled with tomatoes and onions. Now if that does not excite you nothing will... The place can get a rocking loud cause it's not huge but it has all the comforts of a big loud family meal. Parking is limited so be patient but the food is worth it 1000%.... And bring some mints cause it's a garlic night out...

The stars on this place is spot on!…read more Man it was so close to perfect. First the service is really good. I think the owner honestly loves the food that gets served and that translate to really good food. I was amazed at the flavor profile. I loved the vibrant taste and extravagant use of garlic in al the dishes. We even brought our 1 year old here and she loved a lot of the food even some of the more flavorful ones. I think I can echo that some of the grilled meat can be a little dry or rough. I do think that might just be the cut of meat that is used and maybe that's how it might taste? But I have faith that with some different meat cuts those can come out a lot juicier. Even at 4 stars, I do suggest anyone reading this to go check this place out. Its definitely a party of flavors.
